This is an amazing bakery with extensive options from rolls, fresh baked loaves, baked good and cute gifts. My favorite thing about this place is when you walk in, you can go up to the counter and get a bread sample with a spread. I loooove their honey butter with sourdough! It really sets a great tone for walking around and shopping when you have a thick slice of buttered bread in your hand. They have a ton of gluten free options which is always great to see. They have a full sandwich and breakfast menu (which I have admittedly not tried yet!) but they have great options. They take preorders for holidays too! Staff is always super kind and helpful :)

Not my first review of great harvest and definitely not my last, but they are definitely one of my favorite spots for very specific reasons. I often find myself here on a Sunday to grab a loaf of the pistachio cherry sourdough. I love that they have a rotation of different flavors specifically with their sourdough bread, but the cherry pistachio is my favorite. I believe on Saturday it is a green chili Piñon sourdough. Anyways, they're always so friendly. They have such a fun selection of different things and the bread is amazing. You really can't go wrong.

    1/2 Cubano sandwich. Pretty flat.

The Cubano sandwich is wicked delicious...but it's overpriced for the portion size. $13.50 and I'm still hungry after eating it.

Chicken salad sandwich on Montana crunch bread

Back again, this time to have a sandwich and some pastries! We ordered the chicken salad sandwich on Montana crunch bread, the Baja Chipotle turkey on Montana crunch, a blue ribbon blueberry coffee cake, and a boulder brownie. We also tried the cinnamon swirl bread and sampled the blueberry lemon bar. I discovered the BYO gift baskets today, which I think is super cool. This place always smells delicious inside and has a cozy atmosphere. The staff are nice and helpful. We signed up for the rewards this time- you can earn points for free bread and sandwiches. I love this place and I'll always recommend it!

Pecan pie bar, gluten free; pumpkin chocolate petite bar

First time here, would go back! There's a lot of selection, which can feel overwhelming, but I don't think you can go wrong in your choice. The employees were also very friendly and helpful in their suggestions. They were also really pushing the samples, and they didn't skimp on the size either, which was a nice touch. I tried a pumpkin chocolate petite bar (bread), German stollen, and a cinnamon bread, all of which were good. I ended up getting the pumpkin chocolate petite bar (pumpkin bread with chocolate chips and cream cheese frosting), which is pretty sweet. I shared the gluten free pecan pie bar. Because it was gluten free, the crust was more crumbly than I was used to. It was still quite tasty! The ambiance felt like an unassuming, friendly bakery. I felt comfortable there.

    Hot cross buns

4.5 stars A great place to find a snack or a quick gift, especially for the holidays- cinnamon rolls, snickerdoodle cookies, gingerbread loaf, hot cross buns, Easter almond loaf, etc. If you're looking for something specific, it's best to order ahead, as they can sell out quickly. Some of the prices may be a little more than some of the commercial or grocery bakeries, but it's worth it for that homemade taste. I'm glad they brought the tasting board (free samples) back after COVID. Can't wait to try more of the pumpkin items in the future 2022 #40

    Wall of jams

This was my first time visiting this store. Had an opportunity to go inside and thankfully I did because this store is wonderful. Offering wall to wall fresh baked goods. I love me some carbs! They also had a wide variety of jams and jellies. They even have a cafe menu that offers breakfast and lunch options. I've seen the menu and it looks amazing. I felt like I was lost in there because there was just so much to see in there. Being greeted by friendly staff members, I was assisted quickly and got the low down of how it works when you order. Like getting the freshly made crusty french bread and having it sliced right before your eyes. I bought this huge cookie too. It was delectable. They even give samples of their baked goods. I decided to try a piece of the Honey bread and a few slices of the Green Chili Cheese bread (so delicious!). I will definitely be back to visit again when I'm in town. Thank you!

Sweet favorites are any of the toasts. My most recent one was their seasonal Peach Raspberry Toast. Of their savory options, the Elote Croissant Cup is fun and worth trying. Also loved the red chile sourdough loaf. The elote cup thing didn't hold together well but overall everything was amazing and it was a great start to our New Mexico trip. If we had more days in ABQ, I would've totally come back. Also, had their own parking lot and easy to park. We ended up eating in the car with the AC on.

Amazing sandwich, fresh, delicious! While we were enjoying our food, Pratt Morales, the owner and master baker, came out and talked to us for a while. This was a real treat, great positive attitude and love for what he does. He even introduced us to one of his specialties the Turkey shaped bread he makes for Thanksgiving. So popular now he gets hundreds of orders per year. We left with some biscochitos and other cookies to go, and a desire to try more things when we are back in Albuquerque.

He even joked that they were "out of everything," which got a laugh and set a fun, relaxed tone. The music was rocking when I walked in, which I loved, although it eventually switched to something a little more mellow. Still, the overall atmosphere was inviting and made me want to stick around. I ordered an Iced Americano, and it was solid. You can tell they use quality espresso, but I personally would have liked it just a bit stronger. Next time, I'll probably ask for an extra shot to make it perfect for my taste. The real standout was the cinnamon roll. It had the ideal texture with a gooey, cinnamon-filled center, and they certainly didn't skimp on the cream cheese frosting. There was enough frosting to induce a sugar overdose, in a good way. The shop itself was clean, comfortable, and designed to make you want to stay awhile. They have a huge selection of board games and LEGO sets, so you could easily spend a couple of hours hanging out with friends or family. I also asked about the stage and learned they host karaoke and open mic nights a couple of evenings each week, which adds another fun reason to come back. Between the genuinely friendly staff, quality coffee, incredible cinnamon roll, and welcoming atmosphere, this is a place I'll definitely be visiting again.

Friendly service and faces always warm up a cold morning, and we definitely got that at Los Ranchos Bakery. The menu is simple and the baked goods look great! We ordered the breakfast sandwich with bacon and green chile cheddar bagel, a lavender latte, and a red chile mocha. A cherry tart and a cinnamon roll to go. The drinks were, unfortunately, missing a few ounces and flavor. The sandwiches were smaller than I expected. The bagel had a hint of heat and chile. It was perfectly toasted and held the egg and bacon quite well. The bacon was crispy and the egg was well done. It was filling in the end. The baked goods will have to wait until tonight but I've had their scones before and they were excellent! I'm betting on excellence on the tart and cinnamon roll. Overall, this is a nice local coffee shop that can be a great alternative to a chain coffee shop. The space is nice for some work or chatting with friends and family. Don't bet on the coffee, but definitely go for the baked goods!
