Stopped in during a Friday afternoon when it was empty. The German pilsner was great. The guy behind the counter was helpful and quick. Cool spot, great street to brewery hop.

Great Heights Brewery has made some of my favorite IPAs. My go to beers here tend to be the fruity pellets and blue tile IPA. They also have some good rotating options when you visit the brewery. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great place for a happy hour or just to go hang out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They usually have a food truck, or you can bring/order your own food if you'd like.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice, small brewery on a street with other bars and wineries which is fun.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking was full so we paid the $4 lot parking next door. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat on the patio with 6 large tables since inside was chilly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I prefer stouts and the only one they had was a coffee stout. It was ok. Pretty mild for a stout. Service was fine. Quick on a Saturday afternoon. A nice spot if you are nearby. But not worth my drive from Clear Lake.

Very chill spot to grab a hand-crafted brew and mingle with friends, go on a date, or have that period of solitude when all you want is a tasty beer/cider/hard seltzer to go with your thoughts. Interior contains some cool wall items with tvs for sports/events and there is inside and outside seating. Some inside seating uses barrels for tables which is a cool touch. And there's always some sort of food truck outside to pair with whatever beverages you decide on. Now for the beers, they've got a good selection of IPAs, pale ales, and non-beers such as ciders or hard seltzers. Their Blue Tile IPA and Hazy IPA are some of the better ones with a kicking citrus taste. As for pale ales, their Corvallis Pale Ale is easy to sip on. Best pale ale is their South Island pale ale, I think it's a permanent fixture on their menu (hopefully). If you're looking for fruity or sour, the Helen sour ale is a popular one. Some beers are in rotation which they'll have on their wall. And of course, you can get their beer to go to enjoy somewhere that's not in the brewery. Can't believe this is close to where I live and look forward to frequenting here more often!

Great recommendation! We got a flight and didn't go wrong with any of our selections. The Fruity Pellets and Irish Stout were personal favorites. Great calm and relaxed vibe! We will be back!

Solid brewery! Friendly customer service and plenty of seating indoor and outdoor on the front patio. I went to Great Heights on a weekday afternoon which was nice because it wasn't too crowded and I had the whole outside area by myself to chill and read. I tried the fruity pellet IPA (shown in pic) which was pretty good. 6% ABV so I definitely felt it by the time I finished my glass lol. Very crisp and citrusy like flavor with no bad/bitter after taste. Brewery sells chips/snacks. No actual food during the hours that I stopped by but there does appear to be several food trucks along the road so I'm sure on the weekends/evening time there's a lot more food options.

Enjoyed my first visit here! We opted for a 4- and 6-tasting. All options were great; the sour beer was my favorite. They have seating on two outdoor patios and indoor tables as well. Great service.

Super tasty, but not what I expected. The In-house IPA #14 is a West Coast IPA but without the hoppiness and dank. Pretty clean, with a slight bitter taste

Fruity Pellets (IPA) deliciousness! Great ambiance! Love that you can buy beer by the cans and that they have a pizza food truck!

    Fruity Pellets was the best!

GHB is the perfect neighborhood craft brewery. It's bright, spacious and welcoming. The staff was friendly, but most importantly, the beer was good! Plus, most of their beers had ABVs of 6+! GHB also participates in Houston Beer Pass. I recommend adding them to your list and trying a flight!

Great place in the Heights to grab a craft brew. There's lots of IPAs to choose from here and the indoor area is really nice with a good volume of seating and eclectic artwork. They have trivia night here on Wednesdays with prizes that varies from pies to gift cards to the brewery. The bartenders are friendly and fast pourers and the brews are great. The restrooms are very clean. The women's restroom also has convenient things like feminine supplies, deodorant spray, and hair ties if you need them. There's also plenty of parking.

The foundation of a brewery should be the beer, and these guys hit the nail on the head. Quality beer, great variety and chill location.

Awesome little spot, the best beers I've had for a brewery being so new. Def recommended for anyone who loves craft beer.

The brewery is located in the East End/Second Ward and it's owned by the same folks as Brash Brewing. The building was built in the early 1900s. The taproom is moderate in size and there were quite a few tables. I had a pint of the Oktoberfest which I really enjoyed! I also ordered a flight with the following: 3 Seashells, Brash EZ 7, Spin Jammer, and the Exotica Scorpion. I didn't care for the Exotica (it was too sour for my preference), but I did like the other three that I tried. We didn't see any food during our visit, but they do have rotating vendors that sell food on site. You can also bring in food or have food delivered to the brewery. They don't have any TVs, so this wouldn't be a place to watch a game. They do allow free parking at the brewery if you want to take the train to the stadium which is pretty cool. They have weekday specials and they host events like Music Bingo and Yoga on the 4th Sunday of the month. Check their website and social media for events and specials.

Equal Parts carries one my favorites - Archer Roose. The man enjoyed 2 servings of their Helles Lager. They have a large variety of brews and the seating is both indoor and outdoor. Very comfortable. There's tons of space, different sections, lots of seating, and various games to entertain. I came for a carnivorous plant show and really enjoyed my time there. It was a pretty hot day and though it didn't seem like there was AC in the space, the air flow and shade kept things cool. I enjoyed how there was space for the plant show/booths as well as a singo event on the other side. There is still a bar with select beers, cocktails, and drinks. The servers were friendly and explained why the menu seemed sparse (focusing on event space vs brewery). I got a rice lager and enjoyed it, very refreshing on a hot and humid Houston day.

They didn't serve food but they had a food truck right outside the door. I tried out a couple of beers (phaser fight, fighting windmills) but they also had soda, cocktails, mocktails and water. I really enjoyed the fighting windmills the most. It was described as a mexican lager. The staff were friendly and were able to provide input on the drink choices. It was spacious, family friendly, and cool inside despite the heat. They even had games to enjoy. I'm giving a 3 because the beer was good but not great. With that said, it's worth trying and I would return.
