    Omelette- Denver
    Kelvin R.

I've been here several times, recently I went and had their Denver omelet for brunch. The omelet came steaming hot along with hash and toast. It wasn't watery either like other places, it was just perfect. The hash was good as well. Their california burrito is big and delicious and will get you full. They have this green salsa you gotta ask for thats absolutely incredible with the chips or the burrito. We've also tried the taquitos and nachos, so good! vibes here are pretty chill, they have a little shack off to the side with a tv and chairs you you can watch games and have drinks. The front patio has a few chairs and tables on the side as well as a couple facing the street. There's seating inside as well. The staff is pretty friendly, I haven't had a bad experience here. They'll bring the food to you and take your plates. This place does get busy though so keep that in mind during lunch hours. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu!

Updating my review to reflect the Breakfast Burrito and so that *I* remember.... Still trying to find MY favorite. I have to say, this one is up there! It's simple and comes with potato chunks (as opposed to hash browns), eggs, bacon and cheese. Which is right up my alley. I like simple. I asked for extra cheese and they delivered. Yum! It's a very good size too. The cost is $12.95 pre-tax.

Grilled shrimp and grilled fish taco. Yummy. A bit spicy. Under $3

I love this place. And lately, I love their special burrito and coffee special. You have to be there to order it. It is not available on the app at the advertised price. You could order the burrito thru the app but the price is higher. Why? I guess it is because they want people to come into the restaurant. Either way, it is a good tasking burrito. I order it with chorizo.

Visit at this place for lunch and it has always been one of my go to fast casual Mexican restaurants. Our order consisted of the fajitas, combination plate and two crispy tacos, one shredded beef, and one chicken. The restaurant has plenty of tables, but because it is a small building the tables are close to one another so having a conversation is not easy. They do offer outdoor patio seating , but you have to contend with the traffic from the street as cars will be noisy. My crispy tacos were tasty as always, however, I did encounter a bit of fat in the shredded beef taco. My guest ordered the fajitas, combination plate, and was not pleased with the beans as They seem to come out of a can, the tortillas were cold and not homemade, the chicken wasn't seasoned very well, but the steak and the shrimp were. Overall, I would have to rate today's service with three stars.

Mostly rice forgot the cheese, sour cream and asked for it to be toasted. It's easier to fill a burrito with rice than meat!

I went to try this place had a Thursday special on burritos. I got a pastor burrito. I asked for cheese and sour cream which cost another $2 which was not in the burrito. Also asked for it to be toasted and they did not do that as well! The burrito had no flavor of pastor and tasted mostly of rice but a decent size but since they messed it up it's not worth eating here again and explains why the place has no customers at all in the restaurant. The cashier will just say yes and that's about it! Shocker another crappy Mexican restaurant. So far I only know of one great place in Hollywood who has been consistently great in size and flavor!

The food is usually pretty good. Sometimes I get enough to eat sometimes I don't, but that's not the problem. I was in there last night and ordered a combination platter one cheese enchilada, and two tacos with rice and beans andside in my combo plate. I took a picture of my tacos. They're burnt.I was so starving, I ate one of them. Why can't we get the blueberry margaritas anymore? That was the main reason we all in the neighborhood love to go there. They're the best margaritas ever. So this is my second complaint that you took away the blueberry margaritas.

Great Mex in Long Beach is highly slept on. The tacos are great, the service is always quick and easy, and the ambience is chill in a tucked-away location. Perfect for happy hour, Taco Tuesday, Friday nights -- really whenever you need a solid bite at peak convenience.

This review is my opinion I write about my experience it's all about the food the taste the restaurant and staff it's never personal - as always I suggest you try the food for your self and form your own opinion. I called the restaurant asking for my order to be wrapped tamperproof he said that they would and they did not tamproof my bag it was tied loosely and all the contents were flipped from how they were carried. Here's what I chose. Cheese Enchilada With Green Sauce. $4.75 They offer red & green sauce but green is the only choice available on the app this enchilada was small didn't have much cheese or sauce and the cheese wasn't melted inside -- to be fair I warmed it up the sauce was seasoned well and flavorful but for that price it needs to be bigger have more sauce and cheese and packaged better for delivery. Hard Ground Beef Taco $4.85 The taco shell was still crispy but the lettuce was wilted and the cheese melted the tomatoes were good the meat was seasoned well and eaten with green and red salsa that taco was pretty good I would really love to try this again with crisp lettuce and shredded cheese as intended. Chicken Tamale $4.55 I ordered mine with green sauce and mine had less than a 1/2 teaspoon of sauce which tasted great the masa was tender and tasted very good however the chicken filling was mid there wasn't much chicken inside and it didn't taste very good I suggest they add more sauce on top and more shredded chicken inside and I would try them again. Guacamole $1.85 Flavorful creamy and very tasty. Pico De Gallo $1.85 Standard pico fresh tasty and very good. Salsa 4 Free salsa's with order. Red Green Smokey & Mild Salsa they all were flavorful and made the food taste so much better. FYI I took a picture of all the food that I ordered on a standard plate and as you can see these are very small portions for a grand total including fees tip and delivery online $29.83 I suggest any future patrons visit this restaurant in person to avoid these fees. I will visit again to see if the food is better as a sit in meal and at that time I will update my review . Just me Shawn C. ' ; )

Fried Fish Taco and chicken Tamale
    Ariah L.

Yummy Yums! I had the fish tacos and a chicken tamale and everything was super flavorful. I happened to go on a Friday so the tacos had a discounted price. There was two hour parking right next to the building which was convenient. I went around 6p and the restaurant was not busy. The counter and tables were cleaned well; condiments area was organized too. The staff were friendly and patient! I'll be back.

3/8/24: Tortilla crumbs they gave me. Perhaps they ran out of chips!??? Tragic.
    Trish B.

Really wanted to love this place so much but I've learned that dry meat is their norm and that's just not the work of THE LORD for me! I came in to give it another shot. Called the order in: + chicken burrito wet inside (thought it would help the chicken not be so DRY) The cheese was like sprinkled inside... not melted. + tortilla chips came with it. It was so very little and mostly crumbs like they ran out of chips and that was the last of it. Just tragic. Spoke to a guy about my last experience with the dry chicken. Said he would talk with the cook. They put green sauce inside and the meat was STILL dry. At this point I'm wondering like is the protein cooked days before and just reheated!?? Because how and why is your protein sooooo dry!?? So disappointing. Mexican food is my FAV I've been eating it since FOREVER and a day... this is just not it for me. I don't recommend and won't be returning.

Outside patio! I will come back in the evening when it's cooler.

Each of these items were delicious, but I'd return for the ceviche and chilaquiles. The ceviche was a delicious mix of sweet and salty. Their tortilla chips are made fresh in-house and paired perfectly with the fresh cut fish. I was also impressed by their cocktails. I stopped by on a Friday afternoon and waited about 20 minutes for a table. The wait was well worth it because each dish offered an explosion of flavors. My favorite dish was the birria, with the salmon ceviche as a close second. The mole was great too, but I'd say the other two dishes were more memorable and something I'd return for. I can't recommend the birria enough, as the flavors were reminiscent of what I've had in Mexico, very authentic. The space is small and can feel a bit tight, but sometimes the best food comes from these types of "hole in the wall" places. Ultimately, I'd say give Lola's a try! The soup here lacks the tastebud awakening zip that Don Chato's has. The ono fish taco experience was my fault... I hate fried fish taco, so I had lofty expectations, but due to the fact that I do not prefer corn tortillas, guacamole or raw onions, led to much disappointment since It has all three. Totally my fault. The butternut enchilada was lacking in the expected savoriness... this is being polite. The potato taquito was okay... but I am not a taquito person, so if you are I would seriously encourage you to try it. The star of the table was the Mexican corn. It may not compete with Cornman in Lincoln Heights, but it was decent. I scraped off the onions and toppings on the ono tacos, put the fish on the flour tortillas that another person didn't want, and topped the fish with refried beans, street corn and a but if the chicken tortilla soup broth to make due. When you are driving more than 30 minutes for this experience, I think you would agree that it was less that a proper way to celebrate a birthday. Oh and if there isn't any street parking. It'll cost you about 9 bucks in the lot. I didn't use the restroom, so I cant review its cleanliness. Our waitress was flawless taking orders and delivering food The restaurant itself has a great layout and an outdoor courtyard complete with propane heaters and umbrellas - I loved that... but my favorite part was out front, no not the seating area in the former parking spaces, nope... it was the collapsed woman on the sidewalk, walking her dog with snot running out of her nose because she was huffing some aerosol can of whatever. This truly set the mood upon arrival. Two stars for being close to a lot of other food choices to visit afterward.

Unfortunately, we didn't have a reservation, and it was an hour wait, so we went to the bar. A couple was just getting up, so we snagged the table. Our waitress was excellent. She brought us menus, water and were given hot chips with fresh delicious salsa. We ordered the happy hour margaritas and they were perfect to start things off. I ordered the shrimp enchiladas with green tomatillo sauce. The shrimp were big, the sauce was yummy, and the rice and beans were very good. Everyone else was happy with their order. Our waitress quickly ran up the check, as she knew we needed to get to a concert. She was always friendly and helpful to us. We enjoyed our meals, We will be back.

Me trying to decide between the asada burrito or the nachos and they bartender said go with the burrito.I went with the red chile, it comes with cream sauce, served with a thin layer of beans, sautéed onions, cilantro, topped with monterey Jack and mozzarella cheese. Very good tasty burrito. A couple at the bar who sat next be me was offered tortilla chips and salsa by another waiter. I was not offered this. It would be been a nice add. They did keep my soda glass filled so i appreciate that. For dessert i tried the churros with ice cream. Ice cream came pretty melted already lol i understand it was more hot in the resturant than outside for some weird reason. I had to eat it fast but the churros were delicous! Bar area is nice, they have TV's to which the games. The place was like 80% filled, good vibe here! Food rating: Asada Burrito Plate 7.5\10 Churros and Ice cream 8.0\10
