Similar to a Cava. Fresh, made to order bowls, pitas, plates and salads. The Soicy Feta and Lamb salad was pretty good -- a little too wet; didn't drain the slaw or romaine enough. The lamb kebab was tender and came with enough pieces to accompany the salad.

GRECO is a wonderful option to consider if you're looking for a quick yummy lunch or just a quick bite! Today we went to this location in Seaport, but they also have 4 other locations in MA & 2 locations in Washington DC (one on the way!). GRECO first started in Back Bay, on Newbury St then expanded over the years & actually the owner is behind two other great Greek establishments I've heard lovely things about, Krasi in Back Bay & Bar Vlaha in Brookline! We ordered the chicken gyro & the pork gyro to try, as well as one Bikos Cola & one Vikos Cola (essentially Diet Coke). I really liked the Greek colas, very good flavor & carbonation. As for the gyros, the chicken gyro came w/ honey mustard sauce instead of tzatziki, which was in the pork one. After trying both, I'd say I prefer the chicken one more. The pork was definitely a bit dry also. In terms of size of the gyros compared to other Greek establishments I've tried in Boston, they seemed to be smaller in portion because typically I have a hard time finishing gyros fully in one sitting but I finished this one w/ ease. Overall, I can see this being a good lunch option if you're nearby & I can see myself coming back to try their donuts!! Parking: it's much easier to get street parking in Seaport during morning & lunch hours compared to later on in the day.

Greco begins with a traditional take on Mediterranean with a fresh twist and an atmosphere that is as bright and relaxing as that part of the world, even with a life-sized olive tree on the walls. We enjoyed both the kababs and shawarma. The rice is fantastic and we tried their custom drinks which were refreshing an enjoyable. The pita is soft and a good accompaniment to the fresh hummus, which is just the way we like it. We would come back for sure. This was our first time so the staff was helpful as we made our choices. We noticed that there were many, many to-go orders that were picked up as we were dining and the drivers were quickly given their orders, they were even kind to a rather rude driver as he picked up his order. I was impressed.

Popped in for lunch because our other spot was closed, but we are happy we did! Located right by pier 4, we walked in minutes before the flood of people coming for lunch! Quick and easy order of the: + classic pork + tzatziki meats were tender, but wish it was hotter. fries could have been crispier a great Gryo! + truly Greek chicken the honey mustard slapped on this! Enjoyed my ladies gyro more than mine haha. I thought the portions were just right for us, they have the meats already cut from the rotisserie and slapped together our gyros efficiently and quickly! There's a reason they have so many locations! Only tidbit i would say is i wish the meats/fries were hotter. I get it though, can't be hand cutting off the rotisserie every order during rush hour. Place was super clean, ample seating. There is also a kiosk you could order from and wait for your order to be called when ready!

Very cool Mediterranean place with an average selection of veggie options. The food tasted fine, I just wish there were more vegetarian-friendly protein choices other than plant-based meat. Overall a very roomy and modern aesthetic and the food was ready within 10 minutes. The wrap I ordered did begin to leak the second I picked it up, but no worries I just re-wrapped it.

This is a solid place to grab a semi-fast meal. It's basically counter serve with a mobile and contactless ordering option. I got the chicken souvlaki plate which came with 1 stick of nicely tender and roasty chicken over a bed of tzaziki, cucumber salad, and fries along with several pieces of pita. Fries were freshly fried and tasty. It delivers as expected. Prices are also as expected for the boston seaport area.

Greco is a fast casual Greek restaurant. Their menu includes Greek pitas, plates, salads, skewers, and desserts. I like to order their lamb platter (includes pita bread and a side), bifteki (ground beef) pita which includes fries, or the lamb chop feast which comes with 3 pieces of lamb, salad, fries, and pita bread. If you have a large group, the mixed grill or souvlaki platter are good combination meals that have a little bit of everything. The meat is tender, well seasoned, and packs a lot of flavor. The service here is good. The employees were nice and friendly. We asked for sauce on the side and they gave us two large sauce containers of spicy feta and tzatziki. Our food was ready within 5 minutes or so and they brought it out to our table. There are free water cups by the cash register. It's still around Christmas so they had plenty of Christmas decorations including wreaths, snowmen, and mini Christmas trees around. They also painted on the walls a realistic tree and had library decorations with a ladder near the back. They have separate male and female bathrooms that are just outside the restaurant that were clean. Parking can be tough since it's seaport but there is some street parking and some garages nearby. Overall, Greco is good choice is you're in Seaport looking for some healthy fast food at an affordable price.

Bright spot in a quieter part of Seaport, right next to the Institute of Contemporary Art. This was my second time here and I enjoyed my meal. We came right after they opened on Saturday around 11 and were the only ones there. The space is light and airy, and has a good amount of seating. The service was friendly and we watched as they put together our food. We both ordered pork pita wraps, but for some reason, mine was more filled than the other. Regardless, it tasted nice and fresh. You can even see the meat spinning around in the back.

I stopped by after Fridays at the ICA. I ordered a lamb pita with honey mustard sauce and baklava. At first glance, my pita looked dry before I checked out so the kind server agreed to drizzle more sauce on top for me. The lamb was tender and the pita was overall delicious! I left feeling full. I took a bite of the baklava and it was sweet, dripping with honey. I ended up saving the rest and bringing the leftovers home. I spent about $25 for this late night meal but it was worth it!

Love love love Greco! I always look forward to it when I am in town for work. This year I went twice! I always get the pork souvlaki plate with either one or two and then I get extra fries instead of the salad. I also tried the halloumi with hot honey this year, delicious. Service is usually quick and the staff has always been friendly. I can't wait to be back!

Placed a togo order for the beef plate and based off photos I was expecting a plump beef patty. What i got was extremely thin beef. The zucchini chips did not come with tzatziki dip. I asked the worker for a fork as they were behind the counter. He points to them and says they are right there. There were forks and napkins next to the register that I didn't see. It was rude because if you are packing a togo order utensils and napkins should come in the bag. All of the Food was extremely SALTY. Very disappointed with this experience.

Went back for a visit today, and even brought 3 colleagues along. The food was good, mostly everyone enjoyed, but the service was a little off putting. Everyone has their days, but I can't justify waiting over 20 minutes for a side of halloumi and I'm confident if I didn't get up to request it again, I would've never gotten the rest of my order. Staff wasn't friendly, you can observe they weren't the best team for each other. After this experience, not sure if I'll be back, but if I am I won't bring friends with me. I work in service as well, and understand neglecting the needs of your customers can be detrimental to your business.

Came here a few different times before Covid and even after! There food is delish, everything feels like it's home made from your Greek grandmother's kitchen. It's fresh, tasty and most importantly clean. The restaurant and the employees wear gloves, face mask etc. highly recommend if you like delicious Greek food without the expensive prices. read more

Got takeout on New Years Day and ate outside on a pier with a friend. Team was incredibly friendly and gave us dessert to try. Food was beyond delicious. That lamb gyro made me audibly gasp with joy. Can't wait to go back. read more

Favorite fast casual place in the Seaport! The food is excellent and the employees are very hospitable. My favorite thing about Greco is their consistency. The food always tastes great no matter what time I go or if it is to sit-in or take out. My go to is the horitiki salad with the veggie fritters and my husband always gets the chicken pita. When I bring guests, they are always big fans as well. read more

I cane across this place as I was walking around and figured I would try it. Believe the reviews because this food was incredible. I got the chicken plate with tzaziki and spicy feta and they were great. It's a lot of food and I still managed to eat it all. I also ordered the donuts and ate all of those too. The staff was so kind, which made the experience that much better. Restaurant is very clean! Can't wait to come back! Highly recommend! read more

Found a true taste of Greece In Boston's Seaport! Costumer service was excellent, food was delicious and definitely coming back almost daily to start my day with my favorite Freddo Cappuccino/Freddo Espresso. I got the Mykonos salad with chicken which came with pita and tzatziki. It was absolutely delicious. The balsamic dressing is outstanding and so was the honey sesame bar and eggplant. All around an awesome experience- might even come back later today. read more

Went to Greco on a Sunday. Food was ok. Not super hot. Yero was a little greasy. The only thing that I don't understand is what's up with the loud Spanish music. I'm not prejudiced but it's a Greek place. Play Greek music. I'm not at a taqueria. Just saying. I like Spanish music but not at a Greek restaurant. read more

Today I had a pretty weird experience. After the ICA Museum experience I decided to go on maps and see what food places were around and landed on GreCo. I read the reviews and everything checked out. I go in and order my food (Chicken Gyro) thought about ordering fries and changed my mind after the lady working said they add fries on the Gyro itself, so I simply declined adding fries to my order. The lady serving and fixing up the food decided to call me names in Spanish and some other stuff I didn't make out entirely (not knowing I'm Hispanic and understood what she was saying) long story short this isn't how someone should feel after deciding to support local businesses while being polite throughout the entire process. I will never eat here again, and I will make sure no one I know that goes to the ICA supports them. Negative 1 star if possible. read more

This seaport restaurant and chain in particular are an embarrassment to Greek food. Their meat is so crap it is basically jerky. I tried the chicken gyro and I got chicken jerkey all chew and a great tooth rotter unless you brush and floss right after. Then I tried them a second time and got the lamb. Yep you guessed it, I got lamb jerkey! Chewy with gristle. I threw the baby out with the bath water and starved today and will NEVER go back. The kicker is for lunch you will basically waste 15-20 bucks. Please stop supporting them and shitty food places. With inflation up no one can afford to get a consistent poor quality from this chain. Go right next door to Tatte if in Seaport for a great lamb kebab pita if you want a taste of real greek food. read more

Stopped in yesterday with a friend after attending large Holiday/Fair at the WTC. Lovely space, friendly staff, my friend had custom salad with wonderful olives, feta, et al. She enjoyed and bottled water also imported from Greece! I was feeling a bit tired/cold so I had the egg drop soup which was lovely and a side of pita bread which they grilled and it was lovely. Space is large, well lit and clean. Service was fast and friendly. Bowl and the tray were pretty white and blue enamel. The bottled water was also from Greece. Family friendly lots of kids, we stayed to chat/catch up and they bussed the table but did not push us out. Very lovely place/addition to the Seaport neighborhood, near to the ICA/convenient for a quick bite and veggie friendly. read more

Slightly expensive for what you get. I wish you could choose a bit more what goes in your pita/bowl instead of just tomato and onion. Glad that they gave us a reusable bowl and metal fork and are looking out for the planet. I slightly prefer the menu at Saloniki which, to me, feels like it has a few more options. read more

The mixed grill is the way to go. Feeds 2 hungry bois or 3 normal bois. Amazing meat platter, sit down restaurant quality (compare to Committee down the street). So happy i discovered this meal and will be back several times a month. read more

From the outside, Greco looks like your standard fast casual restaurant - but don't be fooled! This place is the real deal; hands-down one of the best gyros I've had outside of Greece. (You know the gyro is legit when fries are served inside of it.) I love the produce section, too! I was able to find many items that I've been missing since my days in Athens, all at fairly reasonable prices in comparison with other Greek markets in the area. I've definitely discovered a new favorite lunch spot! read more

I have been to the Newbury Street location multiple times and I visited the Seaport location yesterday and was blown away. The ambience, makes you feel like you are in Greece or at least very close to being in Greece. Stefanos, one of the owners, makes you feel like family and helped me decide what to order. The staff preparing the food were always smiling and happy to help as well. Most importantly, the food was fresh and delicious. I had the pork gyro plate with bulgur rice, greek slaw, and tzatziki. I then grabbed a freddo espresso to go for the road. If you are in the area definitely stop by! read more

Not only is the food delicious at this restaurant, they also go above & beyond in terms of customer service. On a rainy day, we placed a large order for a team meeting in the morning but their 3rd party vendor was not delivering until 11:30am. The manager Mez decided to take our order & personally deliver it himself in just a few minutes. Overall, great experience & highly recommend it! read more

Our only complaint is that everytime we've been there during COVID, the manager is wearing a mask with her nose always out of the mask and talking over the food, while the rest of the stuff is fully covered. Also last time we got take out they didn't heat up the food, so it was cold. read more

This is NOT your typical Greek restaurant that you think it's Greek.... This is the real thing! Wonderful food. Super fresh ingredients and very interesting, authentic dishes. The owners and a lot of the employees are Greek. Even the coffee drinks and desserts are unique! read more

Meet the Business Owner: Demetri T.

Demetri Tsolakis brings a unique background and passion for Greek cuisine to his role as owner of GRECO, Boston's fast casual destination for authentic Greek street food. Demetri's hospitality roots began in his parents' Greek restaurants in Western Massachusetts. If you're looking for a great meal, at an affordable price, look no further! We've been to the Backbay location numerous times so we're familiar and were very excited for this location to open! The food, per usually, was amazing - everything tasted fresh, delicious and was served with a smile. We order two chicken gyros with a horiatiki salad + yayas loukoumades (mini Greek doughnuts). It was all tastefully served. This location has beer and wine, which also helped add to the wonderful experience. We recommend Greco to all of our friends and family. We weren't too hungry, so we ordered a couple of small plates: the tuna tartare and the feta 2.0. This place is actually perfect for snacking / light meals since their menu is a modern take on "Meze," or small shareable plates (think tapas). The tuna tartare was incredible. The fish, cucumbers and tomatoes tasted very fresh, but the star of the show was definitely the sauce which I think was a mixture of ponzu, togarashi, and cilantro tzatziki. It was spicy, but slightly creamy, but very herby and light. I loved that the pita chips were crispy; they paired well with the dish and they brought out a good ratio of chips to tartare. The feta cheese was also good. It was wrapped in crispy phyllo and topped with honey and sesame seeds. The honey provided a slight sweetness but not enough to overpower the salty and sharp taste of the fresh feta. This plate does not come with anything which was kind of odd so we asked for pita on the side. I wish we had asked for warm pita, or baked pita because it was a little dry. I was impressed with the flavors and quality of each dish as well as the attention of the servers and staff. There's a relaxed vibe as the lights are dim and interior design is classy.

For nearly $55 for two people I expected better than bad service, pitiful portion sizes, no drinks…read moreand no sides. I am disappointed, from the very start to the end my experience was quite bad. The kitchen did not allow a bread substitution for the sandwich we ordered, they did not do waffles at this location either, and when we got our food the portion sizes were very small. The salmon was very overpriced for how much they offered; $27 for a piece of salmon only a few inches across was insulting, but apparently that is just how it is served there (picture below, you can see the pieces of broccoli are almost as big as the fish!) The other dish we got was the chicken sandwich, which is cut into two halves. The first half was normal but there was basically no chicken on the second half of the sandwich, it was essentially all bread. We brought it up to a manager and they got us a new piece of chicken, which fit entirely alongside the old piece of chicken on the bun because it was so small. On top of that we had to wait around nearly half an hour after finishing and had to flag down a waiter to get our check and go. The service overall was very slow. I will never come back to this restaurant.
