Popped in for lunch because our other spot was closed, but we are happy we did! Located right by pier 4, we walked in minutes before the flood of people coming for lunch! Quick and easy order of the: + classic pork + tzatziki meats were tender, but wish it was hotter. fries could have been crispier a great Gryo! + truly Greek chicken the honey mustard slapped on this! Enjoyed my ladies gyro more than mine haha. I thought the portions were just right for us, they have the meats already cut from the rotisserie and slapped together our gyros efficiently and quickly! There's a reason they have so many locations! Only tidbit i would say is i wish the meats/fries were hotter. I get it though, can't be hand cutting off the rotisserie every order during rush hour. Place was super clean, ample seating. There is also a kiosk you could order from and wait for your order to be called when ready!

Very cool Mediterranean place with an average selection of veggie options. The food tasted fine, I just wish there were more vegetarian-friendly protein choices other than plant-based meat. Overall a very roomy and modern aesthetic and the food was ready within 10 minutes. The wrap I ordered did begin to leak the second I picked it up, but no worries I just re-wrapped it.

This is a solid place to grab a semi-fast meal. It's basically counter serve with a mobile and contactless ordering option. I got the chicken souvlaki plate which came with 1 stick of nicely tender and roasty chicken over a bed of tzaziki, cucumber salad, and fries along with several pieces of pita. Fries were freshly fried and tasty. It delivers as expected. Prices are also as expected for the boston seaport area.

Great lunch today. This place is super clean, all the staff were polite and fast and very appreciative. Great salad with a chicken skewer. I also enjoyed the Greek ice coffee. Nice open and bright seating area. Very reasonable pricing as well.

Greco is a fast casual Greek restaurant. Their menu includes Greek pitas, plates, salads, skewers, and desserts. I like to order their lamb platter (includes pita bread and a side), bifteki (ground beef) pita which includes fries, or the lamb chop feast which comes with 3 pieces of lamb, salad, fries, and pita bread. If you have a large group, the mixed grill or souvlaki platter are good combination meals that have a little bit of everything. The meat is tender, well seasoned, and packs a lot of flavor. The service here is good. The employees were nice and friendly. We asked for sauce on the side and they gave us two large sauce containers of spicy feta and tzatziki. Our food was ready within 5 minutes or so and they brought it out to our table. There are free water cups by the cash register. It's still around Christmas so they had plenty of Christmas decorations including wreaths, snowmen, and mini Christmas trees around. They also painted on the walls a realistic tree and had library decorations with a ladder near the back. They have separate male and female bathrooms that are just outside the restaurant that were clean. Parking can be tough since it's seaport but there is some street parking and some garages nearby. Overall, Greco is good choice is you're in Seaport looking for some healthy fast food at an affordable price.

I stopped by after Fridays at the ICA. I ordered a lamb pita with honey mustard sauce and baklava. At first glance, my pita looked dry before I checked out so the kind server agreed to drizzle more sauce on top for me. The lamb was tender and the pita was overall delicious! I left feeling full. I took a bite of the baklava and it was sweet, dripping with honey. I ended up saving the rest and bringing the leftovers home. I spent about $25 for this late night meal but it was worth it!

Bright spot in a quieter part of Seaport, right next to the Institute of Contemporary Art. This was my second time here and I enjoyed my meal. We came right after they opened on Saturday around 11 and were the only ones there. The space is light and airy, and has a good amount of seating. The service was friendly and we watched as they put together our food. We both ordered pork pita wraps, but for some reason, mine was more filled than the other. Regardless, it tasted nice and fresh. You can even see the meat spinning around in the back.

Love love love Greco! I always look forward to it when I am in town for work. This year I went twice! I always get the pork souvlaki plate with either one or two and then I get extra fries instead of the salad. I also tried the halloumi with hot honey this year, delicious. Service is usually quick and the staff has always been friendly. I can't wait to be back!

Worst gyro of my life!!! Lamb was complete Mush! If I could give it negative stars I would!!! Meat came from the vertical rotisserie at some point in the day.... Seemed like they shaved it about 6 hrs prior and then added some liquid to the pan so it didn't dry out. TERRIBLE!! I should have gotten the meat skewer instead at least it would be fresh. If you have ever had a real lamb Gyro don't waste ur time you will be very disappointed!

Placed a togo order for the beef plate and based off photos I was expecting a plump beef patty. What i got was extremely thin beef. The zucchini chips did not come with tzatziki dip. I asked the worker for a fork as they were behind the counter. He points to them and says they are right there. There were forks and napkins next to the register that I didn't see. It was rude because if you are packing a togo order utensils and napkins should come in the bag. All of the Food was extremely SALTY. Very disappointed with this experience.

Went back for a visit today, and even brought 3 colleagues along. The food was good, mostly everyone enjoyed, but the service was a little off putting. Everyone has their days, but I can't justify waiting over 20 minutes for a side of halloumi and I'm confident if I didn't get up to request it again, I would've never gotten the rest of my order. Staff wasn't friendly, you can observe they weren't the best team for each other. After this experience, not sure if I'll be back, but if I am I won't bring friends with me. I work in service as well, and understand neglecting the needs of your customers can be detrimental to your business.

This was a great place to stop by to grab food after a long drive. The souvlaki feast is filling for 3! It has a combo of chicken and lamb skewers with pita bread and fries to eat it with. Even after grabbing the to go dish and eating this in the hotel room, it held up pretty well. The halloumi pita was tasty and saucy.

This location was super nice and spacious and the staff was very friendly and helpful! They gave good portions and it was quite flavorful. I especially liked the spicy pita dip and charred eggplant dip. I want to try their loukamades next time! This location also has a small market off to the side with some desserts (like baklava) and other assorted shelf stable foods.

Wow this place and concept is super cool! Think of it as Mediterranean food gone "chipotle style." Walked in and they weren't busy. We were helped out right away. My friend and I both ordered a plate each. His plate was pork with tzatziki sauce, along with fries on top. This also consisted of onions and tomato. I ordered a grilled chicken plate with lemon yogurt, and with fries on top. The fries had feta cheese crumbled on top as well. It was also accompanied by tomato and onions. Delicious! The foood was delicious! He paid about $37 for two plates and two drinks. The employees were all friendly and the inside was super clean.. We were even offered some free dessert... couldn't say no and so happy I accepted the offer. We were given chocolate covered loukoumades and omggggg heaven right there.... I am obsessed! I stopped by at lunchtime, and the line was wrapped around, but they are a well oiled machine and moved the line so quickly. I ordered the Mediterranean salad with spicy feta and chicken, and it blew me away. Everything was so fresh and tasty. The quality was something I would expect from a sit down restaurant. The workers were so friendly and happy, too, and their energy was contagious! Don't let a long line deter you if you're in the area. It'll go quick and is 100% worth the wait! read more

Excellent excellent excellent ! Here for a work trip and staying at a hotel near the convention center. Wanted to get outta the hotel and grab a big lunch that wasn't a Sammie and this place popped up. Just a 10 minute walk and a short line and a fantastic platter of meats and salads was handed to me for $40 including tax ! Enough to easily feed 2-4 people. We got the mixed grill platter and it was hot and fresh and yummy. So good I returned today to repeat this ritual before heading outta town. Most salads and wraps are $10-14 and well worth it. Service was great. The woman who served us was so kind and very helpful. When we were checking out she didn't like the way she wrapped my pita and she redid it for me (I didn't even ask or notice) and I just thought that was very kind. Looking for a bite within walking distance of our hotel we were disappointed in how many places were closed and/or has only 2 or 3 stars in the wharf side area. However this place had 4.5 stars so we were hopeful. It did not disappoint. The place was clean including bathrooms. Had a good selection on the menu. They were very generous with the portion and very delicious. My granddaughter had the plate which consisted of one protein, one side a d a sauce. I had the 3 lamb chop meal. We tried the lemon soup. I went to the Contemporary Museum of Art and saw that this was right across from it and was :D because my friend recommended it to me. As soon as I finished from the museum I walked over here. The interior is so refreshing. It feels like a mini oasis to Greece. There are plenty of seats. It is good to get work done as well. It's a chipotle style of ordering if that makes sense. But Ofcourse the better Greek Version :). I built my own had a plate with lamb and tzatziki and fries and zucchini fries. The plate was SO YUMMY and the zucchini fries were just wow. They made them fresh for me perfect amount of crunch. I then got dessert the Loukama. They made them fresh in front of me. These were little balls of heaven. I loved the Kataifi Then I got to try the profiteroles. I even had coffee the Frappe. In short LOVED this spot. Everybody there was soo so nice :) I sat and worked there for hours. Soooo yum ! The Yaya's Loukomas were among the best desserts I've ever had. They're made to order, so they take some time, but they're the prefect balance of fluffy and moist. Delicious, fast Greek food perfect for takeout. We got a lamb gyro, chicken gyro, fries, and side of grains. For the gyros, the meat was fresh and well seasoned. The pita bread soft and soaked up the zesty sauce perfectly. I will say the gyros were a little on the salty side but I prefer that. The fries are soft rather than crunchy which is what my wife preferred. The feta cheese was a nice touch. The Greco grains was cooked to the perfect texture and tasty. It makes for a nice alternative to fries for anyone craving healthy carbs. The cost of this meal was around $35 which I thought was a good value given the amount of food and quality that you get. There was no line when we went at 8:30 and they instantly assemble the food so it was fast. Definitely recommend if you need to grab a fast bite at the Seaport. read more

This authentic Greek restaurant is the best in Boston! It's owned by Greeks... from Greece! You won't find hummus here. You will find Spanakopita, tzatziki, eggplant fritters, Bifteki, Loukaniko, and the best dessert - Loukoumas! Okay I think you get it! AUTHENTIC. YoU can choose from the menu or make your own. I love getting the eggplant on salad (you can do a bowl or pita) and add arugula. They do delivery or a casual small sit down area. Def 5 stars here!!! No frills eatery offering soulful Greek food. Clean, quick, and tasty is everything you want from a weekday meal joint and this place is just that. Went here with office colleagues and we ordered the souvlaki feast with homemade iced tea. The souvlaki platter was delicious and authentic Greek! Portion size was more than sufficient for our group of 4. The servers were friendly and helpful in explaining the menu. I revisited this restaurant again last night, and I didn't think the food could just taste better but it did. I got exactly what I wanted in my pita, and the food was just phenomenal. I met Jordan and Aphrodite which are two employees and they are the best!!! They are both really nice and down to earth. I went here before I went on the boat cruise summer series, and when we were heading back to the car they were just closed for about ten minutes but we still stopped and talked to them and they were just such cool people! I wish there was a location closer to me with employees just like them (or even them lol) but I would absolutely make the hour drive for this food and service!! read more

Normally love going here whenever I'm in the area...went today and the pork gyro meat was horrible...something akin to warm beef jerky. Still giving 2 stars because the loukimades were delicious. Greco is a convenient and delicious casual Greek place! I love their gyro. The meat is juicy and tender and the flavor is always on point. If you go with a few people, I definitely recommend the mixed plate. Everything was really good and it filled us up. The two must haves are the zucchini chips and the Loukoumades!! The donuts are amazing pillows of doughy goodness!! We've tried all the flavors but our favorite is the classic with honey and walnuts. read more

The neighborhood is bustling with traffic, both foot and vehicle, and it was lunchtime so there was a line but it moved briskly. I took a chicken filled gyro that was generous and flavorful. They tucked a few fries into the sandwich. It's all self service and great for people watching. I suspect most of the foot traffic was local workers, stopping in for a lunch to carry out. The restroom is accessible, clean and well stocked. I'd go again if I happened to be in the area.I can't offer anything on the counter service because I didn't do that part. read more

There are SO many reasons to love GreCo! 1. Quality and authenticity - there are 2 locations in Boston but it's not a chain so you're getting real, delicious, fresh Greek food. 2. Pita - I'm personally a big fan of the soft bread-y pita (miss me with thin or crispy pita) and their pita is my absolute favorite in all of Boston 3. Dips - the tzatziki and spicy whipped feta are out of this WORLD! 4. Loukoumades - Greek donuts covered in Nutella (they have other variations but I recommend these) - need I say more? 5. Variety - their menu offers premise combos of pitas and salads if you don't feel like making decisions, or you can build your own pita, plate, or salad! Very user friendly. The plates come with tomato and onion but they let us sub (onion for cucumber for me, tomato for cucumber for my bf) at no charge! 6. Price - personally I think you get fantastic bang for your buck here. The plates (half eaten lol, pictured) are $12.75 and make a tasty, filling, healthy dinner. Sometimes fast casual places put themselves into a "strictly lunch" category, but not GreCo. They even offer real flatware/silverware if you're dining in, which you might as well because this Seaport location is decorated beautifully. 10/10, eat here. read more

The gyros at GreCo's taste just like the ones I ate in Santorini, Greece. Delicious! I have ordered the zucchini chips several times (takeout and in restaurant) and they are always saggy. I guess they fry them in advance and just warm it up to serve. Five stars to the gyros and 0 for the zucchini chips. read more

Plates are just meh, hand-helds are just meh. Spicy feta dip is absolutely fire though. I could swim in that stuff. Literally. Got in touch with my pool guy last week. Demetri Tsolakis brings a unique background and passion for Greek cuisine to his role as owner of GRECO, Boston's fast casual destination for authentic Greek street food. Demetri's hospitality roots began in his parents' Greek restaurants in Western Massachusetts. No stranger to hard work, Tsolakis' dedication to the art of hospitality was born from the time he was tall enough to see over the counter. Tsolakis' extensive industry experience and knowledge of Greek food allows him to offer a new world of flavors that consistently surprise and delight the palates of each one of his guests. If you're looking for a great meal, at an affordable price, look no further! We've been to the Backbay location numerous times so we're familiar and were very excited for this location to open! The food, per usually, was amazing - everything tasted fresh, delicious and was served with a smile. We order two chicken gyros with a horiatiki salad + yayas loukoumades (mini Greek doughnuts). It was all tastefully served. This location has beer and wine, which also helped add to the wonderful experience. We recommend Greco to all of our friends and family. Warning: The food, experience, and decor may make you feel like you're in Greece... for a fair less price of travel. read more
