$4 a taco really?. Great food, new to the area and I saw they served Pozole and Menudo, I've actually had both they are delicious, I would definitely recommend! To bad they only serve it on weekends, I love me some pozole. They have other stuff on their menu, tacos are okay definitely not worth $4ea, Yes $4 for a taco that's Ridiculously overpriced if you ask me, but to each their own, overall food is good, they might just need to work on their pricing for the tacos. This place is great! The food is delicious and they have great healthy options to choose from as well. Their green tacos are tacos in lettuce wraps instead of tortillas (even though they do have handmade tortillas). I've had both the chicken and asada green tacos and I am hooked! They were beyond my expectations-- trust me, you need to try! I can't say enough about how great the people are here as well. They are family owned and are beyond nice and helpful. They even offered to stay open later to take my order once when I called asking if they were still open. The boy at the front, whom is the owner's son, was so friendly and helpful giving me lots of info about their menu the first time I came in. I would highly recommend this place! Give it a try, you won't regret it. Btw, this place used to be Casa Mendoza a while ago and some of the pics from that restaurant are still up which may be confusing to some people. I like their pork pozole but DO NOT buy their tacos. To this day, i still called their tacos," The GOLD tacos." Super expensive, they said it's because they use a special beef. I judge a Mexican restaurant by their Al Pastor meat and this small restaurant has one of the best tasting meat that is FRESH, good flavor, and not greasy. I ordered al pastor fries that are delicious and made me want to come back and try other plates on the menu. Not good Mexican food and I am Mexican. The meat was dry and most importantly it was not carne ranchera. It was not even diesmillo. It was some cheap dry tough meat cut. The tortilla for the tacos was too soft and moist. It was not handmade out of yellow or white maiz. The beans were Peruvian and not pinto. The Spanish rice tasted like it was a day old. The pastor taco was dry and the flavor was dull. Missing the herbs and pineapple that usually make this taco special. I don't recommend the chilaquilles, taco al pastor, or carne asada burrito.
