Ratings are high, so I checked it out & confirmed "Over rated". As for the Taco's, the Chicken was bland, Asada not so great, but the Carnitas was very good. Rice & Beans also not worthy of the ratings given. Small Salsa bar, but had to go ask for chips. The kicker was when I went to wash up to eat. Bathroom was pitch black, no light switch but it had a light in the ceiling so it appeared. Go figure. Had me wondering if they don't care what goes on in front of the kitchen where customers are, how concerned are they behind the kitchen Add it all up, barely worth 1 star. My husband and I were trying to find a decent Mexican food place to eat when we stumbled upon this one. I must say the place didn't look very busy and we were a little skeptical about eating here but as soon as we walked in we were kindly greeted. The lady in the kitchen was also kind enough to give us some details on their menu and she had albóndiga soup coming fresh. I'm a sucker for taquitos so I ordered the combo and my husband ordered the milanesa torta. We were offered chips and salsa as we waited for our food. Tried the chilaquiles with eggs and green sauce and the fish tacos. All very good except fish was tough and overcooked. Their air conditioner is either broken or too small to keep up with the very small dining room. I could feel some cool air coming from a vent so I'm thinking more likely not big enough for the area. Chairs are terrible if you are over 100 pounds or 4 foot 8. Seemed to be the kind of chairs meant for children. I will come back but not in the summer time unless it's to go. read more
