Tried this place cause it has a lot of gluten free options. I have a vegan char burger corn chowder with a pineapple berry lemonade. My wife had the surf and turn sweet potato fries and the ginger mint lemonade. Food here is expensive and the flavor is a just ok nothing special. My burger had a party that had the texture of play dough. What saved the meal was the corn chowder even though it tasted more like a tortilla soup and the drinks. My wife liked the surf and turf but the calamari in did not taste right. The whole meal was like $38 which I thought was not worth it. I would eat here again but will not be eating the char vegan burger( it tasted like a cheeseburgers ugly vegan half sister) read more

Their beyond burger is beyond belief. I took a girlfriend here and she thought we had ordered an actual meat burger because of how delicious it was! I often order lunch here because they have an efficient online ordering system, so your food will be ready for pick up on a rack to the right of the ordering counter- you don't have to wait in line! Absolutely one of the most disgusting places I've ever eaten at. Food had absolutely no taste. My guest ordered a wrap with chicken and the meat was incredibly skimpy. He complained to management and she told him its preproportioned and that's just how it is. Um not the right answer! "Too bad " is not how you tell a hungry guy that's just how it is! There was also a solicitor w a clip board going table to table. We complained about that, as well, and management said they didn't notice him. A flat out lie since we saw him approach the register and he was there for a while going around bothering people trying to eat their meals. Then she asked, "Why, is he bothering you!" Seriously lady?? I will never eat there again. The food has ZERO taste, the portions are skimpy, and place just doesn't appear totally clean. The food is definitely not entirely fresh and most likely made from B quality ingredients. This place is trying to capitalize on the vegan hippy vibe but they've failed big time. Yuk! read more

I go to the Green Tomato Grill in Brea all the time and I was so disappointed with this location! I ordered the tofu wrap and it was really dry. I didn't taste any peanut sauce. It didn't come with popcorn which I always get at the Brea location. The bathroom was out of soap and the paper towel dispenser was broken. just make the drive to the Brea location! read more

This place is delicious. I've only has the tofu Thai wrap and the ceaser wrap. There was good flavor in both of them. The sauces were yummy and not thick. Portions were filling but I didn't feel like I'd had a huge meal afterwards. Most importantly, the customer service is great. For example, my friend and I showed up on a Sunday night around 8:30 ish. We left way past their closing time and we never felt rushed to leave. They were so polite the entire time! read more

The food is always yummy at Green Tomato Grill. My husband loves the Chimichurri Bowl - the sauce in that bowl is pretty tasty. I usually get the Thai Peanut Bowl with tofu. Their bowls are very filling. I usually walk out satisfied and full. They offer a lot of healthy options, which is good. They also have a section outside - like a mini garden - it's shaded and has tables and chairs for outside dining. By the way, if you are in Huntington Beach, there is one Green Tomato Grill there too. We go there a lot too. read more

Healthy food, good prices...ADOBO seasoned POPCORN. I love it. This place is really great and the food looks and tastes delicious. I love the build your owns. So many different veggie options to chose from. I came here, when they were first openining a couple of times and not much had been going on, but sure enough....this place is packed everytime I drive by or visit. I almost can't believe it.....(everything that goes into this spot fails miserably) The only downside to this place is that the parkinglot can be hard to get to during busy hours. read more

Fresh, healthy food that is really delicious! I love all the wraps and bowls I've had here. My favorites are the Greek Steak Wrap with Fried Green Tomatoes and the Cucumber Ginger Mint Lemonade! I always feel full but not weighed down after eating here. My only criticism is the prices are a little on the higher side, but you truly get what you pay for as all the food is quality. Really enjoyed the food when I went there. The tuna bowl was a bit spicy for my daughter, but my husband really enjoyed it. My vegan tofu bowl was amazing and I loved that they had both vegan and non-vegan options so my whole family could eat there. Now they offer a VEGAN breakfast which I will be going to try as there are very few good vegan breakfast places in Orange County so I am so happy The Green Tomato Grill in Orange and in Brea is offering this now! This is one of the rare places where my whole family can find something to eat. Everything is easily customizable, great for veggies, vegans, gluten-free (including people who need it really safe like my friends with Celiac), my no-dairy-no-oil-no-fat dad, etc. portions are generous for the prices, the lemonades and teas are great, and I still haven't been able to get in early enough to try their breakfast! I liked the bite I had but don't love bell peppers so I didn't care for the flavor, but it was still obviously very good. I got the chicken Caesar wrap. Chicken caesar wraps are generally what I order if it's on any menu and this one was fantastic! Calamari itself had great flavor but the rest of the ingredients in the burrito drowned it a bit. Maybe without the rice and more crunchy veggies, and or less rice calamari would shine more.
