I came here a few weeks ago to try their Bun Bo Hue (I'm on the hunt to find the best BBH in Seattle). The BBH was okay, I don't think it's anything worth raving about. The broth was decent, they give you an ample amount of noodles and meat, the herbs were fresh.. but it just didn't quite hit the spot. The cafe was good (albeit, a tad sweet). Fresh rolls were good. I will be making a trip back to try their other soups and the vermicelli bowls. The chef is the same chef as Green Leaf in Belltown (hence, the similar taste profile and presentation). I feel that there is limited good Vietnamese food options north bound (my favorite is Pho 99) so I'm happy that there is now another budget friendly option. read more

Really happy Greenwood now has a restaurant that serves Vietnamese food (they also have really good Chinese food as well). I ordered the rare beef & brisket Pho, and my wife ordered the beef Chow Fun, and both were really good. The Pho broth was really tasty, a bit more saltier than my usual place, but still really good. The meat was really thinly sliced, how I like it, and was really tender as it should be. The chow fun was excellent; the noodles were not all stuck together like some restaurants serve. The noodles were all separated with the sauce covering the whole noodle. The beef was tasty and tender. We will definitely be back to try the Singapore noodles, and I would like to try the BBQ Pork Fried rice. I'm really excited to have a place where I can get a good bowl of Pho, that's within walking distance to my house. Definitely give this place a try. read more

Always consistent and delicious. Love the variety between Vietnamese, Chinese and Thai. The flavors are great. Their Wonton Noodle Soup has delicious pork/shrimp wonton and baby Bok Choy (one of the best sources of protein and iron in the vegetable world!) with egg noodles- my favorite! Thin, ramen esque noodles with a nice flavor. Tried the Westlake Beef wil high was like egg drop soup- gelatenous and with egg whites, delicious cilantro and green onion brightness with sweet savory ground beef bits. Surprising and delicious! Pho is good, Chinese is good. Glad to have them in the neighborhood. Usually about 20/25 min for to go. Very clean and super friendly. read more

So good! My family loves the pho and the vermicelli bowls here. I'm not usually a vermicelli bowl fan but ordered one with the grilled chicken (#72) this summer when it was just too hot for pho & was blown away. It's the only vermicelli bowl I've ever loved or considered ordering when it was cold out. My kids and mother-in-law also raved about theirs and my husband has had a few of their vermicelli options and loves them all. My youngest and I, who are both picky eaters, also love their pho. The broth has so much flavor and the veggies are fresh. Their portions are perfect as well (we all have big appetites). We've only been able to do takeout because of COVID but the staff is nice and they get our food fast. It's so nice to have this gem in the neighborhood. read more

This place is tucked quietly in a corner that is easy to miss. The place looks nice, a little dark with the light. This place for me is memorable most for their fabulously delicious pork spring rolls! The first time I had it it was so good and unlike any springs roll before. The meat is perfectly seasoned and seared, and the sauce it packed with great flavors. Make sure to try this appetizer. Their Pho is also good. Finding pho with good broth is proving to be difficult these days, so I was very happy when I took the first sip of the broth and immediately could taste the rich layered and complex flavors of herbs and spices! The meat tasted fresh and tender. If rice is what your craving for, try the Combo platter, it comes with grill chicken and pork and shrimps as well as fried eggs, yummy! To top it all, if you still have some room left, try the banana cake desert! It's not really a cake, but more like banana caramelized and wrapped in sticky rice, then covered in warm coconut sauce! read more

Really great Vietnamese food in the North Seattle area! Staff is super friendly and food is very consistent. They serve a variety of Vietnamese food like pho, bun bo hue, vermicelli noodle bowls, banh mi, and banh cuon. I noticed that their vermicelli does have a bit of oiliness to it that I'm not quite accustomed to, but it is packed with lots of flavor and so worth it. It's just not as light as traditional vermicelli bowls but not a bad thing in my book. They also serve Chinese takeout style dishes as well and Singaporean style noodles. Order their deep fried crispy chicken appetizer - it's so good and has a really nice breading and flavor. read more

I am glad to have this Vietnamese restaurant in the neighborhood I grew up in. It is a go to spot for my father and I when we are craving some home food. I usually order the Bun Dac Biet and I am very pleased with it. My dad likes the same or he goes with the Bun Rieu which he loves. There are other Vietnamese restaurants in the north end but Green Tree is probably my favorite all around and they have good prices. Ordering over the phone is easy and pickup is quick. They are new to the neighborhood but I am all for supporting my local restaurants and you should too! read more

I am so happy that this restaurant exists and is still open and serving delicious food during these trying times. They really are getting me through quarantine. I come here for take out maybe once every two months or so And every time the food is fresh, tasty, prepared quickly and served in a safe and friendly way. On my most recent trip, I completely took a wrong turn driving here and arrived late and they apologized profusely but told me they had to remake my Vietnamese pancake because they didn't want to give it to me cold. They did not have to do this, they just wanted me to have a good eating experience and I really appreciated it. My regular order is a Vietnamese pancake, combo steamed rice noodle rolls, Fresh Vegetarian Spring Rolls for the next day and Honey Walnut Prawns (I only recently discovered that they had a small Chinese food section on the menu with my favorite dish!) And while I occasionally branch out and have always had good experiences with new dishes, it's also a very difficult time and sometimes you just want what you know. read more

This is my favorite go-to spot around the area! I've definitely had my fair share of trying different Pho restaurants around U-District-Chinatown. However, for what's the closet to me, this spot is top three for me! Their portions are pretty large imo and the flavor of the broth isn't too watered down nor too sweet.
