This was my first time at this franchise. It was a clean interior with quick service. I ordered an iced Nu Brew (Nutella combined with their handcrafted cold brew and milk). Nice, this place is right around the corner from my hotel. My gf woke up early and bought a vegan croissant and vegan burrito from here. The burrito is rather small (bout half size), but super delicious and goes REALLY well with the sriracha they give you. The croissant is a must-have if you're vegan, though. It's super fuckin' good and I think every vegan should give it a shot. Both are 6.50! I'll probably be rolling here for breakfast for the next few mornings read more

This is the coffee chain that should be on every other block of the city. A welcome new addition to the Financial District, this may be the only chain I've ever tried that has coffee that's actually drinkable without adding a ton of milk or sweetener. For all you coffee snobs, this is also one of the few places I've seen in this neighborhood that has cold brew instead of just iced coffee. Given the extremely warm temperature of 30 degrees (yes, Fahrenheit - that is very warm for this NY winter), I tried out the 16 oz. Cold Brew ($3), and it was great. They have a ton of pastries here too, which actually looked like they might be good. They didn't have that pale, plastic/rubbery look of Starbucks stuff. I would definitely try one of the many donuts or cookies they had on display. They have a Gregular card, which gets you $5 off every $50 you spend, so you should definitely start that on your first visit. This is one of the best choices now for coffee in the FiDi, so I'll definitely be coming here regularly. read more

My word was it windy when we visited! Of course that is nothing the cafe could control, but it was a bummer standing by the door and being blasted by the wind every few seconds. I decided to treat myself to an upscale muffin. I saw what looked like a bran muffin which turned out to be an Apple Cinnamon Muffin. Bought and brought it back to my work cubicle. Took a first bite and was disappointed. But had to make sure so I ate a few more bites. Turns out, it was overbaked and that gave it the look of a bran muffin. Also since it was overbaked, the texture was dry, the cinnamon wasn't a prominent flavor, lack of apple chunks, and the abundance of coconut flakes in it that it should've been named coconut cinnamon muffin. It was a bland muffin with mild coconut flavor. Lastly, shouldn't be selling overbaked goods. read more

There was no wait time at all and shout out to Avery that works there she gave me the best experience she is amazing she recommended a smoothie for me to try it has strawberries blueberries and bananas in it with orange juice it was amazing I went back the next day and got another one it was that good and I live 7 hours away from Gregory's coffee and I would go back in a heart beat just for her she was so nice. Me and my children were visiting the Statue of Liberty I was looking for a warm cup of coffee when we stumbled upon this quiet corner in the middle of the financial district. My children were impressed with there latte art in their hot cocoa where as I found myself indulging in my light but strong and still hot cup of coffee. The barista went out of his wya to make sure my cup of coffee was hot just the way I like it. I would come back here again with my family. Gregorys Coffee serves pretty good coffee and has a good selection of pastries, and I prefer it over Starbucks, but it still doesn't hold a candle to La Colombe a block away on Wall Street. That being said, La Colombe usually takes longer and is a little more expensive, so if I want a quick coffee & pastry at a decent price, I'll come to Gregorys. The space is a decent size, and most people in the morning are just coming in and out, so you can always get a seat if you want to sit. And, I do like their pastries - croissants, muffins and their glazed donut is pretty good as well. Coffee is good as well, and like I said before, there's typically no line and hassle as Starbucks across the street. This is my Go To spot in FiDi for a quick coffee & pastry, unless I have more time and want higher quality, and then will go to La Colombe nearby. Overall a solid coffee shop. read more

Their iced coffee was so good I considered getting another one to go! The aisle displays made it more cramped than it is so not good for a large group. Nor is it meant for students or mobile workers. Still, the venue is inviting and it's definitely worth your time to grab a drink and rest from the bustling right outside. You will see lots of FiDi folks stop in that's for sure. I discovered this coffee shop by walking by it one day. NYC is filled with Starbucks in every neighborhood. They don't have a Peet's Coffee shop here. I would go out of my way to find any coffee other than Starbucks. Gregorys Coffee serves pretty good strong coffee. And they have a nice selection of pastries. It's different from other coffee shops. I think it is kind of fancy. I got the carrot cake loaf. It was huge and moist, not dry like some pastries. I liked it so much I went back to this location twice. read more

Went in last Thursday, and I gotta say, the cappuccino was AMAZING!!! I cannot stop raving on about this. The only reason I am not giving them five stars is because: 1. My drink wasn't filled to the top. Half of it was foam and the rest, liquid. I'm all for foam but it was just too much, I could of gulped my drink down in 2 minutes but because it was just so damn good, I was forced to take baby sips. 2. The food options were kind of lackluster. I was expecting different kinds of food considering that it's like a trendy coffee shop but just your average donuts and croissants. But these reasons do not keep me away from their coffee. These are just minor things that I can brush off.
