The folks at Grill City can't manage online ordering and it doesn't matter it if comes from DoorDash or an order placed on their website. I've ordered on two different occasions using both platforms and it was a fail. Used DoorDash and the order was cancelled after 10 minutes. If the place was busy just cancel asap so I can order elsewhere and not waste time waiting. Most recently ordered directly from their website for delivery around 3:36pm with an estimated delivery time from 4:00p-4:30p. The order was never confirmed and calls to the restaurant were never answered. Around 4:40p order still hasn't been confirmed but the charge was placed to card so I decided to drive over and get them to cancel the order. Note it was t busy so I walked up to the register and let the lady know my issue. While she greeted me amicably once I told her my issue she became upset and was like talk to my manager. Lucky me the manager was present and I left her know what was going on. She was indifferent but not rude but I can tell she wasn't really paying attention. She kept asking me if I order something I didn't even after I showed her my order and detailed what I ordered. It's like she was insisting I take the order she was describing. I told her I just wanted her to cancel the order so I could get a refund. She didn't get up just called for another employee to bring over a tablet. Said employee brings the tablet and there is my order on the screen pending confirmation. I tried their Honey-Garlic Chicken and wow, it's my new favorite chicken dish now, fresh, healthy and warm to the touch. It's tender, sweet from the honey glaze that covered the meat and cooked to perfection. I paired my choice with their bean dish (mung) and chose water instead of their curated choice of drinks. This branch also has several other dishes so if you're aching for Filipino/Asian dishes, drop by this restaurant and enjoy their uniquely and genuine grilled meats and savory foods. My only suggestion to this place is for them to train their cashiers and staff workers, they seem robotic, no smile and seem tired in working on the counter.
