What can I say about Jollibee that hasn't already been said?! I personally think Jollibee is the most glorious and amazing fried chicken chain EVER. I got spoiled having this chicken growing up in LA that when I moved to Ventura I missed it. While I wait for our new location in the 805 to open, you'll catch me continuing to come here. This location is an old school staple and while it's not the newest of Jollibees, it's an old reliable. My pro tips for braving this location are always to come early. While they have a parking lot it fills up pretty quickly and the parking spaces are tight. Be warned. But for chicken, I'm willing to risk a ding to my car. They have kiosks here for ordering but they aren't my favorite. Most of the time only 1-2 of them work and the other screen buffers forever. It's a nice option in theory, but holds up the line. I still opt to go to the cashier which is so much easier for ordering and the gals are always super nice and helpful behind the counter. What I also appreciate about this location is they have a good amount of dining space. You just have to look/know to turn the corner to their more private dining tables in the back. But again, I come pre lunch rush so it always works out. If this is your first time here, these are some of my staple must orders: Chicken bucket - half original and half spicy. I can't usually hang with spicy but their spicy fried chicken here is just too good to pass up (have extra water handy lol). Mashed potatoes and adobo rice are my favorite simple sides. And don't forget, you must dunk your chicken into the side of gravy, it's a non negotiable. To drink the pineapple quencher is 10/10. But I also like their seasonal drinks and the guava is a close second. Don't skip the mango peach pie either. It'll explode all over you while you eat it, but so worth it. Pro tip: come asap to try their newer breakfast bites. Their longanisa breakfast sausage sandwich is pretty darn good. Only for a limited time too. read more

New breakfast sandwiches?! We had to come try them. Unfortunately, service was not a great on this visit. We ordered from their self-order kiosks, waited and waited for our order to dine in, screens said our order was ready and it wasn't. They're hitting the ready button before it really is. Not sure if they're being timed for how quickly food is being prepared and handed to customers, but when I used to work in fast food in my teens in a McDonald's drive thru, we were being tracked on how quickly we were helping our customers and serving them. Our managers kept yelling at us to hit the "serve" button. The screen showed that food was ready for pick up and we asked the worker if it was and she said it wasn't. We waited an additional 10 minutes and it was finally ready for us to eat. Upon picking up the coffee, it seemed light so when I went to our table, I opened the lid and sure enough, the coffee cup was half filled. Onto the food. . . the Chicken and Waffles breakfast sandwich was tasty, but the waffle needed to be softer. Imagine biting into a crunchy over-toasted bread. It was too crunchy for my liking. The longanisa sandwich was a lot better and flavorful. My daughter ended up putting the fried chicken from waffle sandwich and used the pandesal bun from the longanisa sandwich. I ended up eating the longanisa patty and the waffle. She pretty much "Frankensteined" her own sandwich. If you haven't tried their new breakfast sandwiches, you should! I was in Panorama City for a week visiting, and this location is closest to where I was at, which was convenient. It is in a plaza with a few other restaurants and stores. I haven't had Jollibee in a long while, so I was very excited to get something to eat. The staff were polite, and they tried to get orders out fairly quickly. The only thing is they had quite a line waiting for orders. It took, I think, half an hour for me to get my order. The restaurant itself was pretty clean even though they had a lot of customers dining in and out. The only thing that sort of annoyed me was that the ice machine, I think, was either broken or malfunctioning because it kept running out of ice. The food was delish and was super nostalgic for me. The rice was perfect, the chicken was perfectly crunchy and the gravy was as flavorful as I remember! My friends and I did eat in the restaurant. It was a bit difficult to find somewhere to eat because they were packed. The staff were pretty good about clearing and cleaning tables though, so it wasn't too long of a wait. Overall experience was solid, even with the few hiccups of longer wait times than anticipated. read more

Fried chicken was so good and fresh. Service was good too. Ladies who were working that day were really nice to customers . They were greeting the customers as soon as they walked in. The wait for the food was not that long. I got my fried and side of rice in about ten minutes of ordering. This location has kiosks for ordering which makes the ordering process easier. This location has indoor seating area. It is clean and well maintained. Tables during my visit were getting cleaned after customers which is a good thing. This is our go-to Jollibee since Oxnard's store is still under construction. It's worth the 50 minutes drive from Camarillo. Food: Their chicken, spaghetti, and mash potatoes are my families favorites. I'm a big fan of their spicy chicken because it's spicy, juicy and flavorful. My children love their spaghetti and gravy. If you stick to these, you will become addicted like us. Service: We preordered on the mobile app over one hour in advance. The meal was ready about 5 minutes after the time it was promised. The staff is friendly and working quickly to serve the customers. This store recently added kiosks to order, which helped because there was almost no line of customers to place orders like there usually is. Ambiance: The store is average size and mostly clean. The smell of fresh fried chicken is the first thing you will notice when parking your car. The parking lot is crowded and parking spots are narrow, so try not to park there with a larger car. There's a side alley that has a little more space. Overall, we really enjoy Jollibee's food and will happily drive over an hour to have some quality fried chicken. read more

I get it--I totally understand why people love Jollibee. The chicken has really great breading, and I tried the tenders meal, which came with fries, a drink, an ube pie, and a free side of their chicken sauce (basically gravy). The tenders were solid and definitely something I'd order again. The ube pie was decent--the flaky crust was spot-on for a fast-food dessert, though the filling was a bit too sweet for my taste. This location was packed when I visited, and with the ordering kiosks down, the wait was longer than expected. That said, there was plenty of seating, the space was clean and well maintained, and it was clear the staff were working hard to keep things moving. Well you know you can't go wrong with Jollibee chicken. Being your typical Filipina that works at the hospital across the street you know I've had to make some Jollibee runs every now and then. I just recently picked up food and was pleasantly pleased. They now have kiosks where you can place your orders yourself which is great! They now also have a separate line for online pick ups only. Make sure to order ahead and save yourself some time. Only cons is the parking situation. They share the parking lot with Seafood City and a bunch of other restaurants so it gets very congested. read more

This is my first time at a Jollibee after passing by so many times and I was so pleasantly surprised! Despite the bleak outlook from previous Yelpers, they definitely had some crispy and tasty chicken! I saw they also serve spaghetti which I found such a unique option alongside fried chicken. Having grown up with places like KFC and Popeyes, I expected the usuals like mashed potatoes and coleslaw (which they also have) I'll have to try that out next time! I opted to order via kiosk and it was efficient, and super easy to navigate. The order came much quicker than I expected. One downside is they prefill your cup with ice at this location, which I hadn't seen before. The soda comes out of the machine lukewarm, so I don't think it's cooled. Kind of a bummer and didn't add that fizzy fresh touch but it's forgivable. The chicken was juicy, fresh, and so good. The fries and mashed potatoes I got were also holding their own as far as sides go! They gave me two extra sides of gravy which I really appreciated and ended up dipping my fries and chicken in them! (of course) I loved that they didn't overdo it on black pepper like KFC. They've won me over! This restaurant was clean, and looked new even though you wouldn't think it based on the little shopping center it sits in and what awaits just outside the door. I came here for lunch on a Saturday and my experience here was mixed. I came to try the Katseye KBBQ menu items, but ordering was difficult. They had a promotion that if you leave a google review, they will give you a free key chain. I wrote my review and showed the cashier, but she was giving me a hard time and kept telling me to repost it. I did so 3 times, but she still wouldn't take it for some reason. I talked to another cashier and she was able to verify right away and give me a key chain. Also, my friend was given a broken key chain. When she inquired, the went in the back for a while and ended up fixing it. That whole key chain experience was weird. The meal itself was pretty good though. The chicken was juicy and succulent and the skin was crispy. I also liked the sweet and sticky sauce, but it was a bit too saucy and the flavor was too sweet and salty. I would've preferred if the flavor and sauce was turned down a bit. It was also pretty messy so I would recommend handing out plastic gloves like they do in Korean fried chicken places for the messy sauce. I also liked the chicken sandwich which was tasty and balanced out with the veggie toppings. I was also confused why me and friend's meal didn't come with the Katseye box sleeve and flags while others' who were dining there too did. I also got the pineapple quencher which was great and tasty, but a bit expensive at $4.50 which is half of a 2 piece combo meal. Parking at this location is a bit hectic since the plaza is also shared with other Filipino businesses and a lot of Filipinos visit this area, so I would plan ahead. I was in the neighborhood again Thursday night. We stopped at Jollibeee as a last minute thing, and I ended up ordering 15 piece chicken with fries, and Chicken sandwiches. My girlfriend is not a big fan of fried chicken, so we got her a chicken sandwich with french fries. Try to get here before 9 pm. My husband and I drove from Santa Clarita to the Jollibee in Panorama City since we don't have a Jollibee in Santa Clarita, which is such a shame since there's a large Filipino population that n Santa Clarita. Anyway, we placed an order using their interactive kiosk for "faster service". We ordered $120.00 worth of food. We placed our order at 11:15 a.m. We patiently waited inside that very overcrowded restaurant with no place to sit and employees desperately working on over-drive for the multitude of orders. At 11:45 (yes, 30 minutes later! So much for "fast service") I saw my name under the "order ready" section of an overhead notification board. I went up to the front just to see that my name disappeared from the notification system. I asked one of the employees what happened to my name since it was on the board, then disappeared. They checked my order number and then checked what was going on with my order. The employee came back after 2 minutes (at 11:48) just to tell me my order wasn't ready and it was "being prepared". At this point it had already been 35 minutes since order was placed. I asked her why it's taking so long, and "fast service" for using the order kiosk is misleading. She didn't care about customer service, she just responded "we're very busy. We'll call you when your order is ready". My order was FINALLY READY at 12:10!!! Practically an hour since submitting my order! I was furious at this point, and I told my husband I didn't want to leave yet until we checked our order since I had the feeling the employees were incompetent given the fact we had to wait an hour and my concerns were not handled well. We unpacked the bags by removing each food item one by one. We ordered 8 specific sauces and they gave us the wrong sauces; we also ordered and paid for 2 Ube pies and they were missing! I once again went to the front and informed the employee we were given the wrong sauces, and I handed all 8 sauces back to her, AND told her we were missing 2 Ube pies. She immediately said, "Oh! We're sold out of Ube pies". I told her why wasn't I informed, given a refund, or given an option for substitution? I also added they essentially stole my money when they knowingly gave me my order without my 2 Ube pies and expected me to go home. She didn't immediately answer. Then she asked if I wanted 2 peach mango pies. I said sure, and how come now she's offering me a substitution? She couldn't answer. Poor customer service! 1 hour wait time for an order is unacceptable! Very poor quality control! Stealing my money is the worse! Again, I was only given an option for substitution when they were caught. I hope upper management is reading my review and re-train their frontline employees. There needs to be a strategic way to ensure wait time is no more than 10 minutes. Perhaps corporate office should consider opening a location in Santa Clarita to help alleviate the volume of customers and orders the Panorama City location absorbs. Horrible management and customer service! I PREORDERED my lunch at 10:10 AM to be ready by 12:30 PM for my family. I timed this to be ready after my doctors appointment. My appointment ended early so I called the restaurant at 12:12 PM to see if they could prepare my order early. They said they could not because they were busy with other orders. I said it was fine and I would be there at 12:30. I arrived at 12:25 PM and asked if my order was ready. They said it was not and to wait 10 more minutes. At 12:51 pm, a worker said it will be 7 more minutes. She handed me a soda cup to fill my drink. I received my order at 1:04 pm. I received zero apologies or any compensation for my 34 minutes of waiting past my 12:30 pm preordered time! I've never had this issue before with any Jollibee location. I will not be coming to this location again! I sent in a formal complaint and only received the following response: "We appreciate you for taking the time to share the details of your recent visit to our Jollibee Panorama location. Your message provides valuable insight into your experience and the expectations you had when placing your preorder. We understand how important it is for you and your family to have meals prepared on time, especially when coordinated with personal schedules. Overall had a positive experience- solid food, clean restaurant and restroom, enough seating for my group. I ordered online, and it did take while since they said they were waiting on the last sandwich to be made. It was then noticeable which one we were waiting as my coworker said his was piping hot while the rest of us had barely warm sandwiches. Wish they could've all been fresh since we had to wait. 2nd time in 2 weeks at Jollibee in Panorama City. I'm here for that Pilipino juicy crunchy chicken and gravy and it absolutely delivered. The not too heavily breaded chicken is loud-crispy, stays crunchy, and the inside is actually juicy (not that dry fast-food roulette). The gravy is an MVP, rich and perfect for dipping every crunchy bite. You obviously gotta dip the fries too because why wouldn't you. Kid grabbed an ube pie and it was a great finish, sweet, creamy ube filling with that warm, flaky crust. Not overly sugary, just smooth and comforting. The ube desert was good not too sweet. Now the reason why I docked one star is because I still don't know how I feel about the spaghetti. I don't get the 3 stars. The chicken is literally "chicken joy" and the service is stellar. The crispiness of the skin and the juiciness of the meat are 5 stars every time I go. This spot is tucked away in the corner of a a strip mall that also has an Asian market, a Red Ribbon, a boil in a bag restaurant, a kabob spot (one of the best in the valley), a LittleCaesar's (for American flare), a tea/boba spot, a Chowking, and a local bakery. The parking area can get hectic, but I always find a spot. The chicken is phenomenal on its own, but if this is your first time you must know that it comes with a cup of GRAVY. Don't question the method of chicken transport, just eat it. If you want the whole spaghetti and chicken experience, the two pair really well. The spaghetti sauce has a sweetness that compliments the saltiness of the bird. There's always a specialty menu, and right now it's the Katseye style chicken. Omg the soy, sweet, and touch of heat combo has levels of flavor that make the $12 combo well worth it. On the sandwich, they garnish with cucumber and cilantro. The Jollibee fries are always crispy. And whatever oil they fry with gives the fries a dark golden appearance and they taste better than your average American fast food fry. Dare I say they taste...like chicken? The sodas on tap are Pepsi, if anyone cares. They also have a Pineapple Quencher that is basically pineapple juice in a boba style plastic sealed cup. It is indeed refreshing! This place is always busy. I mean always. Even if the dining room isn't packed, they are bombarded with online Jollibee app orders (like me) and delivery orders. The Jollibee app comes with perks, their point system is quite generous. I earned a free chicken sando within two trips. Lastly, Jollibee has restrooms that...hold your breath...wait for it....don't require a code to get in! Can you imagine!? Being treated like a respected customer again?! I also come here when I'm in the neighborhood and simply need to use the restroom. No one looks at you weird for humbly relieving yourself. There are two stalls in the women's restroom as well. The ladies at the register are always welcoming and the elder employees who expedite and clean the dining room mean business, in a good way. Food is expensive. Take out is expensive. Jollibee cares, therefore they will get my excess food budget. read more

My favorite chicken spot! I only recommend the spicy chicken ! I am a fried chicken connoisseur. This spicy chicken recipe is definitely better than Popeyes. The gravy has an acquired taste to it, but it is good. And the way the chicken comes piping hot. When you dip that chicken into that gravy it really sets it off. And some red rooster, hot sauce in the mix. FIRE!! Their mashed potatoes is probably the only side that I would say is cool. Because in all honesty, their sides are not the best. It really is all about the chicken here and for me to give them five stars and them black in the side arena that is an indication that the chicken is really good. Huge caveat.. if you are a stickler about only having white meat, you're gonna run into a problem. They only sell legs and thighs. But trust me it is damn good. Holy Damn Good! I'm born and raised in central Los Angeles and this is the closest thing that I've tasted to Golden Bird, if not better, I think better! Really disappointing service from Evelyn. She does not seem fit to work in customer service. Orders were not being called out, and she appeared unable to manage serving customers properly. She even yelled at me and my wife in Tagalog, loud enough for the entire restaurant to hear, which was extremely unprofessional. When we got home, the rice was watery and inedible, no utensils were included, and although the chicken was acceptable, the overall experience was ruined by the service. Our order sat there instead of being handed to us, and we were made to feel as if it was our responsibility to pick it up rather than having our order called like everyone else's. Waiting over 30 minutes for fast food is unacceptable and reflects poorly on Jollibee. This experience does not meet the standards expected from the brand. read more
