We decided to check this place out last minute and got the last reservation. The place is located in a cozy little neighbourhood near Ellicott City. The restaurant has great decor with upscale vibes. The food was really good! The Thai shrimp is their take on the bang bang shrimp and it's really good! The rack of lamb was shared with two sides, garlic Parmesan broccolini and truffle mac ans cheese. The truffle flavor wasn't too overpowering but just right the roasted garlic was really good with the veggie. The lamb was was perfectly! Also shoutout to our waitress Heather who was so nice and took good care of us. We chatted about our cancelled flight and trip so she treated us to a complimentary crème brûlée dessert which was really good! read more

I came for happy hour staff was nice service was great. I almost forgot how awesome happy hour is in general just for food! I got all these items and it was like 50 bucks which is great. The ambiance was good we sat outside and there was no issues with bugs. I will say, the only thing I enjoyed was the wings and the toasted Brie. I would come back JUST FOR THE BRIE and that would be the only thing I recommend from the happy hour menu. My guest got the burger and lemonade (not pictured since I didn't eat it) but he seemed to enjoy his meal. Everything else was just eatable but the Brie is the reason why they are getting 2 stars, unfortunately the rest of the food was very mid. The shrimps didn't have much flavor the steak I asked for medium rare, I got well done. I'm a sucker for mussels but the broth was so hallow I just took it to go. They were pleasant and sat us in the bar area right away. The decor is a good looking rustic chik vibe. I ordered their cherry Old Fashioned which is a slightly different take on an Old Fashion. It had a stronger citrus and dark cherry flavors. It was well blended and an A grade cocktail. I ordered their waygu burger which was very delicious. It was juicy, tender and full of flavor. The arugula was a nice touch and the cheddar was sharp enough to pop a little without overdoing it. The bun was super good, very light but had tons of flavor. I ordered broccolini instead of fries, which was a 5$ up charge. The broccolini was good but slightly in the side of over done. Overall this place is a great choice based on what we experienced. Visited Grille 620 for my bestie's birthday on a Wednesday night. Reservations were easy to come by, so there is no need to worry about that (at least not on a weeknight). The vibe was intimate but not overly romatic! The service was great! Our waitress was attentive and nice. The food was pretty good as well. I got 6 oysters to start, which were shucked clean (not the cleanist I've had, but good enough). For my entree, I ordered the beef carpaccio and a kale salad with chicken added. The servers are knowledgeable and will offer suggestions if asked. The ambiance is nice, understated and cozy. My wife and I decided to visit here for our anniversary on a Sunday evening. We made our reservation online. We arrived a few minutes early and were greeted and sat within a few minutes. The restaurant is mostly an open floor plan, so it is not what I would call a quiet place. They were nearly full also, so making a reservation was a wise decision. We shared the truffel wedge potato which was crispy on the ouside and the perfect texture on the inside. My wife had a salad and mussels. She said both were very good. I had thet Chef's Pot and really enjoyed. There was plenty of seafood in the dish, including fish, scallops, shrimp, mussels and clams. The broth was excellent and my wife kept dipping her bread into my bowl because it was so good. Our food was served very hot. I have a thing for this where so many times restaurants serve warm food instead of hot. Our food was hot enough that I needed to let it cool a bit before eating and I love that. For the longest time I enjoyed Grille 620., for many business, holidays and birthday celebrations there....until they served my daughter a rotten piece of steak-Filet. It was her first time and her birthday. I had reserved a table for 6, we arrived and everything was great until she asked me to try her steak as something tasted funny. I smelled the steak and was like hmm... something is not good. I bit into a small piece and almost threw up. It was rotten meat. I called over the manager and he agreed right away that he could smell it was rotten. And said " we do not serve that here". He walked away and never, never apologized. He sent the server over to see if there was something else that she would like to order but mind you, he never apologized. He never tried to make things right, it's not our fault you feed us rotten meat. It was you and your kitchen. At that moment I knew from his disregard to us, that this place was a H*** NO for me ever again. I never recommend this place to anyone and I never will ! read more

My boyfriend and I went to Grille 620 this past Saturday, and the food and service were all excellent. We originally had a reservation for 7:30 but they were very flexible and allowed us to sit down an hour early. Our waiter, Garrett, was very attentive and knowledgeable about the specials for the evening. We got the crab and artichoke dip and the house salad. The dip was more cream cheese than crab or artichoke, but the flavor was still really great with the bread. The house salad was excellent and light - really liked the seasonal fruit. We also got the fettuccine and wagyu burger. The pasta was delicious and had lots of seafood in it (scallops were deliciously juicy). The wagyu burger was decent - the meat was grilled well but the arugula added a really potent taste that exacerbated the beef taste in not the best way. Take out the arugula and it was great. Came here for a simple and healthy dinner and we were not disappointed. Tuna tartare was slightly salty, but doable; butternut squash soup is seasonal and was delicious; beets salad had just the right amount of cheese on it; steak strip cooked as we ordered , very juicy & the 620 blue martini (they made it like a dirty martini) was perfect cause it came with 3 blue cheese, stuffed olives, just the way I like it . Service was good like always. We have came here for late night bites & brunch as well. The bar area does get lively towards later on at night, but fun. I've been wanting to visit this place for years and finally, the time has arrived! I thought it would be perfect to celebrate my husband's birthday here. I've always heard great things from people I know as well as Yelp so why not? I made a reservation for 10 people a few days in advance and requested outdoor seating. I was told that I can make the request in person because it's 1st come 1st serve and I was only guaranteed indoor seating. No worries, I get it. Well, arrived to my reservation and they made my outdoor seating wish happen! Not only did they make it happen, they gave me the best table person in the place! Her name was Kat w a "K" and she was fantastic! She always came over at the perfect time, she was very friendly and tended to all of our needs as they arised. The establishment is updated, comfy, cutesy and covid safe. All staff members adhered to Covid guidelines regarding social distancing as well as capacity limitations and mandatory indoor face masks. Perfect environment to relax and converse w friends and family while making priceless memories. One day later I'm still receiving text messages from guests regarding the great time that was had by all! If this isn't one of the most flavorful drinks I've ever had! Delicious, light and has a warm that denotes warmth and comfort, if that makes any sense... Lemonade crush- definitely more of a summer drink. First time trying it- wasn't bad but probably wouldn't order again unless i was in a hotter environment. El Chappo - well, the description says it contains medical but i dont taste it. Sweet and pungent. Not the biggest fan of it. Roasted Brie - mmmm, wish I would've shared this with someone, the honey, jam and warm brie can definitely coat you tummy. Lava cake - not even lukewarm, so the 'Lava was more like frosting. Wont be ordering again but Jorge was on it and, unbeknownst to me, brought my concern to the manager's attention and he removed it from my bill! Had my first experience at Grille 620 and it was wonderful! From the food, to the ambiance and the amazing bartenders! Headed over to the bar for Sunday brunch! Tammy and Andre were so awesome! They took care of us and were so much fun! I ordered bottomless mimosas and my friend has the orange crush and espresso martini! All were fabulous and they were not at all stingy with the bottomless ;) I ordered the special, chicken tortilla soup which was SO GOOOD! I will definitely be stalking their weekly specials to find out when it's back! Then I had the Caesar salad with fried chicken breast which was very good as well! Best brunch ever! Made reservation for noon but they accept walk-ins and have outdoor patio seating with umbrella shades. Our server was Lauren and she is just lovely. She provided helpful suggestions and gave us a curated experience. Brunch menu has something for everyone. I had the sliced beef with aioli sauce as an appetizer and it was heavenly. Coffee was French press and it was divine. Mellow with a touch of sweetness but still holds gustatory appeal. My entree was the 602 omelette with crab, shrimp and a cheese blend. A winner hands down. My friend and I came here for brunch this past Sunday and the overall experience was great! They offer bottomless mimosas and bottomless champagne for $14/person--that's a pretty good deal! We both got the bottomless drinks, and our drinks were refilled quite frequently--the choice of champagne served was decent (on the dry side). Food-wise, our two dishes were the Crab Cake Benedict and the Chicken & Waffles. The crab cake benedict was well-flavored, more on the saltier side FYI--very delicious in my opinion. The chicken & waffles were good too--we opted for just the sriracha aioli (not sweet or spicy) and no slaw added. The dish came with two huge pieces of fried chicken breast drenched with the sauce--I do wished it wasn't overloaded with sauce because the chicken wasn't as crispy as it could have been. But overall, it was still tasty! For dessert, and as a birthday treat, we ordered the Goat Cheese Cake. OMGGG THIS WAS INCREDIBLE!! The cheesecake texture was light, not too sweet, and complimented very well with the strawberries and nuts. Highly recommend you saving room for this dessert. We have visited Grille 620 a few times now for Brunch and have always had a great experience! For drinks, I've tried the Godiva Martini which was sweet, perfect for me. My husband likes their cold brew espresso which has chocolate liqueurs, bailey's and vodka. For appetizers, we love the calamari and the roasted brie! The calamari is crispy and the banana peppers help give it a nice flavor. The roasted brie is warm and is a perfect pairing with the honey and jam. For our entrees, we absolutely LOVE the chicken & waffles. The chicken is fried to a crisped perfection and the waffles are sweet and fluffy. Then old bay slaw and the maple-siracha aioli help bring everything together. It is our favorite Chicken & Waffles dish. We will definitely be back again! read more

Grille 620 is a really cute spot for brunch, happy hour, and when the weather breaks, they have a really nice scenic patio. Also they have a nice raw bar with freshly shucked oysters, chilled lobster tails, shrimp and crab cocktail, to name a few Now on to the yummy food, we started out with the mussels( white wine, tomato, garlic butter and bread) and beef carpaccio( capers, shaved Parmesan, truffle lemon vinaigrette). The beef carpaccio was shaved thin, meat was fresh and light on the palate. For breakfast, I did the farmer's omelette( house cheese blend, ham, bacon, pancetta and multi grain toast), my friend, she did the 620 omelette( house cheese blend, crab meat, lobster, shrimp, old bay hollandaise). All the brunch dishes come with a side of their house potatoes, which are absolutely delicious. Crispy on the outside and creamy in the inside. My other friend has the B.A.L.T( bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato, fried egg and chipotle aioli) you can also add salmon and chicken. And my other friend did the Belgian waffle, minus the vanilla ice cream, with a side of eggs and bacon. They also offer bottomless mimosas for$16. My friends love a good bottomless brunch. Our waiter, Graham was awesome. Very attentive and helpful. He offered us dessert, we were so stuffed. Definitely next time, they have a really good selection. I also saw that Grille 620 has sister restaurants that are also on my bucket list to try as well. My husband and I came tonight to celebrate a belated Valentine's dinner. One of his customers and two friends had recommended this restaurant. On the way to our table I noticed that there was a coat rack by the hostess stand which is not very common. That was actually nice as not all the chairs had a back to put your coat on it. I sat against a wall which was more like a booth seat. When we sat down I also noticed how dark it was. I had to turn on my phone light to see the menu. I had perused the menu before coming, but thought I might change my mind. Our hostess took our order as our server, Steve, hadn't made his way to us. I had asked if he liked the Homemade Gnocchi & Lobster or Lobster Roll better and he preferred the Gnocchi & Lobster. My husband ordered the 8 oz. Filet Mignon which was served with roasted cipollini onions, mushrooms, and roasted potatoes. My husband also ordered a glass of Malbec and Pepsi. Our hostess brought out some complimentary bread and butter. Both tasted really fresh. My husband liked his filet and veggies. I tried his entree and liked it especially the potatoes. I liked the flavor of my dish, but unfortunately I discovered I'm not a fan of gnocchi because it's too thick. The flower in my dish made it festive and pretty. For dessert we ordered the molten lava cake which had a dollop of whip cream, strawberries, and a caramel glaze. It would have been less sweet and rich if it was served with vanilla ice cream or more whip cream. I've been making a box mix of Godiva molten lave cake at home lately and we both agreed we like mine better. Steve brought us out two complimentary shots of Limoncello which was a nice gesture. Regarding service, Steve was as nice as can be but we didn't see him often. The kitchen service was slow given that the restaurant wasn't super packed when we arrived and it took a while before we got our food. Returned to Grille 620 to celebrate my niece's birthday. She has never been here before, but she knows how picky I am about my steaks I ordered the 30 oz cowboy steak to share with my nephew. The chef cut it for us, and what a steak! It was a tad well done by the bone, but we didn't care as it was delicious. My niece ordered the salmon, and my wife, as usual, orders the branzino. One couldn't help but notice how quiet my table became as all we were all enjoying our meals. Our server, Garrett, I asked for him specifically, and if you ever ask for him too, you will know why. The man is the epitome of excellence. He knows the menu so well and gives such wonderful suggestions. We are already looking forward to our next trek out to Grille 620. read more

The atmosphere is more in line for birthday parties and families who want to pay $40 for a steak, with no fixings, that can be made on a propane grill. Three things were on point with this restaurant... the honesty from our server (suggesting not to get the crabcakes), the goat cheese cheesecake (absolutely amazing, and suggested by our server) and the seafood.
