New York Style Pizza or Brooklyn style pizza. If you've been to New York that you know what the spot is. If you're not been to New York or to Brooklyn, well, you're gonna have a good education. This restaurant started in Brooklyn. And now it's in Dallas. New York style pizza. Yes it is thin crust so worth. The pizza is really really good. Crust is amazing and tasty. Drink well that is off the chain. Price point if you are sharing then it's not expensive. So ignore the other people who says it expensive it is not.. and if they're saying it expensive, clearly they have not been to New York at all. Even if you get a whole pie it is not expensive. It is a typical price point of a pizza. The staff is absolutely amazing very kind, generous and always with amazing smile. It really depends on the date and the time most likely you can still get a reservation when you walk in. If you did not make a reservation, walk in are most welcome and they will get you in right away. Ambience, it really all depends on the date. Sometimes they get loud sometimes it gets quiet with when you can hear the beautiful music. Really all depends, but it's so worth it.

Great atmosphere! Very good and fun workers. Always wanted to try Grimaldi's! Finally a spontaneous Friday we decided to pick this place. We came at the right time because it suddenly became a storm! We ordered the Caesar's salad large and it was a big bowl and tasteful. Also we ordered the Don! The pizza took a while to come out, almost close to an hour. It was a very long time. Our pizza holder was a little slanted and once the pizza was placed down, we grabbed a slice.. the whole thing tipped over. Our awesome waiter Crystal was there at the rescue immediately and was able to request another one quickly! She was superb awesome! All in all, service was great! Pizza was only OK for me! They didn't have coke =(! It is a great place for a group and or a small. Loved the atmosphere!

I'm perplexed that Grimaldi's doesn't have 5 stars. My experience was nothing short of amazing from the pizza to the service. This location is also downright beautiful. You walk in and you forget you're in uptown Dallas because you feel like you're immediately transported to little Italy in New York. It's delightfully decorated to give you that nice Italian charm. The pizza itself was so good, it has that nice traditional New York style taste. For me the secret is in the sauce. It's has a tangy sweet sauce that delivers such a delicious taste. I don't recall it being very expensive either which is another plus as well. The final verdict I loved it and yes I will be coming back.

New York Pizza Heaven in Dallas! I haven't had the original Grimaldi's in years and have been so hesitant to try the chain here in Dallas. I had a walk in order at around 7pm and it took 45 + min for me to receive a 12 inch traditional pie. I don't know why it took so long when there weren't much to-go orders or people dining. My traditional pie was yummy. Perfect coal brick oven pie with a thin crust just like home. The tomato sauce was acidic and sweet. It had the perfect amount of cheese. Definitely make sure you ask for parmesan and red pepper flakes to take your slice up a notch. I was a bit disappointed the waitress didn't let me know about the rewards program and when I inquired she said well it's too late to get points once I purchased. But it's water under the bridge. Just pro top: download the app to receive points for your orders! Will I come again? Yes. But I wouldn't expect much from the service.

Exxtra Pepperoni and Hot Honey Pizza, Caesar Salad This was pretty solid! Hit the spot when I was craving Pepperoni Pizza. Nice red sauce, good crust. Tons of Pepperoni. Love the hot honey on top, but I will say the hot honey part kind of disappears when you try reheating it. Caesar salad is standard, just something else I was craving at the moment.

After I ordered this pizza I went broke 50 dollars for 6 pieces of pizza and a box of nothing but spinach this company needs to lower their ego along with the prices could've been better on temu

We had the small Apple walnut salad. It was a good portion (we ended up taking half home). A large sausage and mushroom pizza. It could have had a little more sausage, but it was very tasty. We had a strawberry basil lemonade that we opted to add 2 shots of vodka to. The service was good and the atmosphere was nice. We usually go to a different location but wanted to check out this area. We spent around $130 with the tip.

I want to start with that I love Grimaldi's. I ordered this pizza and it was supposed to come with sausage. I mentioned it to the bartender who organizes pickup orders and she pointed to 2 pieces of sausage and said "I see sausage". I walked out I was so annoyed. I came back in and asked another bartender for an order of sausage. She obliged and offered me a free dessert. That's the only reason this is getting 2 stars. And now my pizza is cold... for waiting in sausage.

Our standard order is a large three topping with pepperoni, real Italian sausage and onions. You've got to try onions as that touch of sweet helps with all the savory flavors. We always include a side salad with their homemade blue cheese dressing for a small charge $2.55! You've can also purchase their homemade salad dressings by the pint or quart. The pizza takes a minute to get made so the salad calms our appetite. I swear it's cheaper to get a glass of their house wine than to get a glass of tea so don't hesitate to order. This place is a definite bargain on many items. Now the pizza is just spectacular. The Italian sausage is the real thing that has been sliced from the links not the sausage "turds" you get with fast food pizza. The crust is perfectly yeasty and the thickness on the medium side. They also serve on a rack at the table to keep the crust fresh. Since we order a large it is a knife and fork pizza with the heavy cheese and toppings. Another favorite dish is their lasagna. I've lost count how many times I've ordered at the restaurant and to go. It comes with a choice of salad or minestrone soup. The soup is homemade and simply the best warming dish - a hug in a bowl loaded with veggies. Service is always friendly. The murals of Italian scenes and the wine bottles hanging from the ceiling add a fun touch. Just don't forget to try the pizza and you won't have regrets. They were well-seasoned and paired perfectly with the ricotta cheese, and during Happy Hour all appetizers were $2 off, which was a nice bonus. We also took advantage of the $10 Happy Hour Margarita Pizza, along with a couple of pizzas not included in the deal like the Truffle Shuffle and the Honey Bastard. All of them were solid and flavorful choices. The food came out quickly, the restaurant was clean, and the service was great. Our server, Emma, took excellent care of us and explained their authentic pizza style: a thin, crunchy crust with a perfectly chewy inside. I'm giving this a solid 4 stars instead of 5 simply because while everything was very good, nothing quite wowed me enough to push it into "must-have, can't-stop-thinking-about-it" territory. Still, it's a great spot with good food, good service, and a worthwhile Happy Hour.
