I saw a tres leches croissant and was hesitant to buy it but the combination of the name intrigued me so I decided to give it a try and OMG the best croissant ever. From the moment I walked in, it just made me smile. For me the decor and vibe say happy. The staff was so sweet and very knowledgeable of the products they have. The coffee was just right, and the kolache, SO GOOD! It was nice to chill and relax on the sofa in the apothecary and enjoy our breakfast. We also picked up some goodies to try. Service was good - he made suggestions that I took and enjoyed. Music was good and not overwhelming. No idea about the food. Yelp menu shows a lot more options than what I saw in their display case which was a little disappointing but not the end of the world. Awesome cafe! Best part is they have this cool.machine that can make custom latte art which you upload from your phone. If your gonna do this ask for a white topped coffee creation (flat white I'm guessing) so it shows up better!! Aside from that the coffee was great atmosphere is cool. Excellent matcha lattes! I also really enjoy their ready-made chia pudding. Small interior, but still a few seats. The staff that I've interacted with is very friendly! A cute shop with the worst parking situation lol. Being at the corner of an intersection with barely any room to back out of the parking spots makes for a difficult situation. This place is good! When we travel, we like to try local coffee spots. This one popped up and immediately I could tell I was going to like it. First, we were offered a free drink because they had an extra cinnamon oat latte. My husband had that one and loved it. I ordered the chocolate diesel and OMG. I don't know what they made the foam with but it was amazingly sweet! This drink is definitely on the sweeter side but oh so good! Though grinders is on the pricey side for coffee, I always go when I need a pick me up or have meetings in the area. My favorite is the Toffee Coffee with CBD and oat milk . This place is super cute but has very limited seating if you are looking to study. We did not try any of their coffee but picked up some pastries for a quick bite. We ordered the apple tart croissant and feta spinach pastry which were both super yummy. The feta spinach was really flavorful and complimented well with the crunchy dough. The apple tart croissant was very big and topped with apple filling and was more dense than a croissant but still a great choice. Will for sure try out their coffee next time! read more

They have a variety of novel pastry selections, such as Mac & cheese kolaches, S'more scones, thick (double layered) chocolate chip cookies, and other amazing-looking traditional items like butter croissants, ham & cheese croissants, blueberry muffins. I would recommend the s'more scones, marshmallow on top and chocolate on the inside. After they heat it up, the taste of the buttery scone combined with the melted chocolate is just heavenly. It is a little pricey, $5.41 (with tax) for a single scone, although it is an unique one you can't get it anywhere else. I came here after yoga to try out a new coffee spot, I didn't realize it was an infused kind of coffee but I'm here for it. The girls at the front weren't very inviting when I walked in. I said hello and Goodmorning and they just "what can I get you?" So that's really all I didn't like. But it's okay it was early in the morning and I know people are still waking up. The drink I got was very delicious. It was a honey bun latte and I got it with the CBD. The cbd was definitely working haha I would definitely come back to try out other drinks. Is "Calming Coffee" a thing?....I know that's like an oxymoron, but CBD infused coffee is just that. I had the Purple Haze & it's perfect for the: stressed out working wife & mother of a 2yr old, who has 1000 things to get done before bedtime & still needs to keep her sanity. This coffee calmed my nerves yet gave me energy to get ish done! Not to mention it was delicious...I didn't have to add a bunch of sweeteners; matter of fact I didn't even add one. After I got my coffee I walked over to the adjoining store. This side is filled with with all kinds of CBD goodies: sparking water, tincture drops, gummies, creams & even stuff for your pets. Adorable coffee shop. Great coffee quality but be aware of a few things : Interior: SUPER small and cramped. the coffee shop is connected to a CBD store. Only 3 tables plus bar stool seats inside with no outlets. I tried reading here but since the space is small I found it was a bit noisy. Sitting outside is loud too as the space borders a busy road. Prices: great quality but high prices. The CBD lattés cost like $10 with tax! The espresso drinks pack a punch though - I got a honey lavender Latté and the caffeine HIT! I finally made it to this coffee shop. I must've passed by this place countless times. When I walked in, I saw that there was limited seating. There was seating outside, but it was too cold. I opted to sit at the bar inside facing the window instead. Perusing their menu, I was torn between trying their lavender latte or their pumpkin express latte. But, since it was the holidays, I opted to order the latter. It was pretty good. It could've had more espresso and pumpkin spice flavor to it. But, it was not too shabby and quite pleasant tasting. Next time, I'll try the lavender latte. The barista stated that I can ask for less or more lavender syrup if I don't want it tasting too strong of soap. Lol. If you're into CBD, they do offer CBD shots into your coffee drink for an additional charge. Adjacent to this coffee shop, they also have a CBD store, where you can find other CBD products if you're interested. But, I was here mainly to try out their coffee drinks. So much aesthetic packed into this quaint coffee shop! Reminds me a lot of Vibrant located in Montrose with the healthy hipster vibes. I stopped by on my way home from tennis - sunny and 75 degree weather are perfect for an iced coffee mid-day pick-me-up. When I arrived, I asked about their nitro cold brew and one of the baristas started pouring me a generous sample before I could even get around to asking for it - such a smooth and roasty flavored drink, but I like my coffee less bitter, so I ended up ordering an iced pumpkin spice drink instead. My dumb butt forgot my wallet at home but the cashier told me that I could pay next time I visited, which was quite possibly the sweetest thing anyone's ever done for me. I'm already planning on coming back this weekend with some cash to pay back this kind gesture. Oh and my pumpkin drink was SO good - I'm so happy I stopped by and met these kind people. read more

This place was such a cool place to visit! First of all, I am starting to appreciate craft coffee places, and this place for sure falls into that category. As part of the 3rd wave of coffee, Grinders knows the importance of weighing out your coffee and water to get the perfect ratio as well as using high quality beans. As always, they serve a variety of coffees, from espressos to lattes, but my go-to is the chemex pour over. I just enjoy a great cup of steaming hot coffee that's well made. The main attraction however is the latte printer? I'm not quite sure what you call it, but essentially, if you get a latte, or anything with foam on it, you can get a free picture printed on it. My husband got the joker printed on there, and the intricate detail makes for a pretty awesome drink! The atmosphere is pretty nice, but spacing is limited, so I would get there during and off period time or grab your coffee togo. read more

Awesome coffee menu and just the right amount of food selection as well. Texas toast (4/5) they are definitely generous with the avocado. Waffle egg (4/5) Pumpkin latte (4/5) - didn't really taste any pumpkin spice flavor but it was delicious none the less. It's definitely a cool and chill sho that add CDB to your coffee if you want. This coffee shop is located on Kirby. I ordered the cinnamon oat iced per their recommendation and really enjoyed it! The pastries here are amazing and they source them from bakeries around Houston like Koffeteria. My sister and I shared the Chinese sausage taco which had kimchi, egg, and Chinese sausage and a spinach and artichoke kolache. These were both so great that we decided to also order the Thanksgiving for one which had cranberry sauce, turkey, and mashed potatoes. This has to be one of the coolest coffee shops I have seen in a long time. Super surprising and fairly new. I heard that they have only been opened for about a month now. This is such a neat experience and was in "AW" the entire time. The lovely young lady/Barista at the front was very kind and helpful. They have CBD honey that you can pour in to your coffee and is also attached to a CBD shop right next door. Anything that you get there can have a CBD additive. There is this really cool design printing machine that adds pictures on top of your latte! It's so neat! Never seen anything like this before. I ordered the El Caliente and my friend ordered the pumpkin Spice latte. The El Caliente has a crazy spicy kick to it but it was good. Very different. Pumpkin spice latte was also pretty enjoyable. I tried Grinder's CBD Avenger latte yesterday and it was delicious. It also didn't make me jittery like normally lattes do. After drinking it I didn't really feel any different, but then I took my regular Sunday afternoon nap and it was the best nap I've ever had. He actually got his manager at the location to find my jewellery:) His name is Adyson and it was a pleasure speaking to him. Literally less than 5 minutes later I called and the sad excuse of a woman said she threw it in the dumpster. Within seconds? And why not the trash in the coffee place? Pretty sure that's NOT true. This CBD adjacent store serves somewhat expensive coffee with some concept CBD infused coffee. Interior is tiny, and this small spot would have trouble seating more than five parties. Parking is also difficult, and one would risk backing out onto the very busy Kirby Road. I don't remember what roaster grinders uses, but their bean played well in iced latte, though it was somewhat unremarkable. Service is also fine, and the baristas are friendly and knowledgeable. This spot seems almost like an adjunct to the next-door CBD shop. Because of the limited interior, space, standard coffee, and price, I would probably only return if guaranteed a table. It's fairly good of a place to study at. read more
