This was after standing in a long line. Walked down to Giant to make a purchase and then came back to my food still not ready. Finally decided to ask after sitting here for 20 minutes! How about the order was never put in! How the heck is that possible when I paid and have the receipt. Watched people that ordered after me get their food and leave. Here it is 5:56 pm and I still don't have my food! They said they put it in and it will be out soon. Several other orders have come out and I'm still sitting here! I tired to give y'all another chance. No apology or offer of anything. Yeah I'm pretty sure I won't be back! Do better! Oh finally got my food at 6pm. Carlita the cashier was the only one that really acknowledged what happened. Where's the manager! She should have come out to offer an apology. Smh.

I actually had to hold the door shut while using the restroom, which is something I hope they fix soon. We ended up staying for about two hours, and the atmosphere was relaxed and easygoing. Another plus is the large parking lot, which made parking convenient. Overall, Crab Boat was just okay. The happy hour prices were good, the drinks did the job, and the service was fine. I've been a steady customer at Grinders for years, but lately, things have taken a disappointing turn. Ever since Southern Maryland Seafood & Crab closed down, the crab sizing at Grinders has become noticeably inconsistent--and frankly, questionable. What they advertise as "large" crabs would barely pass for medium elsewhere. Mediums look like regulars, and regulars often seem undersized. It's frustrating to pay premium prices and receive portions that don't match expectations. The value just isn't there anymore. I'm sharing this because I genuinely want to see Grinders do better. Long-time customers like myself deserve consistency and fairness. If things don't improve, I worry they'll lose the loyal base that's kept them going. read more

I was in the restaurant on Sept 2, 2022. Waiting for my order. A drunk White woman and man came in while I was waiting for my order. She was loud and disrespectful and disorderly. No one from management said one thing. She express, This is my country and blacks are not welcome. Over and over. You should not be here. I strongly believe if an African- American had done that creating a scene in you business they would have called the police. My review regardless management should have said something. (It was very reminiscent of Chick-Fil-A tea/McDonald's tea...the good kind!) Not overly iced. So delicious!! Husband: 1 combo boil with snow crab legs, sausage and extra corn, (comes with corn and potatoes), garlic seasoning and medium heat. His garlic sauce smelled to die for. Very well rounded, (I tasted it). It had sliced garlic in it and wasn't too salty at all. The medium heat wasn't too hot, but don't take my word for it, get the heat level you like. His crab legs pulled *perfectly*. The sausage was wonderfully Smokey with that crispy/crunchy edge. The corn was tender and juicy, not overly cooked and the potatoes melted like butter. Me: 1 combo boil with snow crabs and crawfish and added hard boiled eggs (also comes with corn and potatoes), "Rocking Bomb" seasoning (old bay, garlic, lemon pepper, Cajun). *I have never had crawfish THIS good in my entire life.* I genuinely cannot describe the euphoria I had with words, but I'll try. They weren't muddy/fishy. They absorbed the flavors so well, yet preserved the firm but tender texture of the meat. They were very easy to break into, just like the crab legs. Nothing got stuck or jammed. The eggs were a balanced addition, soaking up all that awesome flavor. I ate one half way through and the second at the end. Again, nothing was abnormally fishy. Seafood can, at times, taste a little too oceanic. Everything came out piping hot, but not so hot you couldn't tear right into it. Both boils were nice and buttery. We tried using the gloves but ended up tossing them. They have sinks right in the open so it is easy to get up and wash up if you get too messy. (The bathrooms are on the smaller side - with the women being two stalls, and I didn't see any others, so the extra sinks really come in handy). There was a very kind gentleman bussing tables. He was fast and thorough. He was very pleasant to us as we walked by him. Very courteous!!! If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Literally nothing was bad.
