Fantastic tuna! A very very delicious fish and trips. Worth the detour from any trip. The service is friendly and fast. We grabbed one of the tables by the road and enjoyed such French fish and chips. I would recommend not sharing an order as you'll likely want to eat the entire things yourself.

It's bright warm sunny summer day to go driving along the coast. Stopped by for lunch for some tuna tacos and tuna fish and chips at Grizzly Tuna. We ordered a large fish and chips, and two tacos. The fish and chips was outstanding, nicely seasoned, crunchy panko type coating. The fries held its crispness even though it had cooled a bit. The fish tacos was loaded with cabbage "slaw " and sprinkled with some cojita cheese. Squeeze some of the lemon. Oh goodness , simple and delicious! Eat in the car or at the table by the roadside or drive a couple of blocks to the beach.

Came here for the high ratings. Got the fish and chip. Upon the first bite, thought it was chicken for a second. Fish was too dry and bland for my taste. Fries were the same; dry and bland. Obviously some people love it but it's not for me. Won't be back.

Absolutely delicious!!! Such a great stop after walking on the beach most of the morning. The french fries were great, love the thin style fries. The fish part of the Fish & Chips was insane! The fish was so dense and the breading was so crispy. It was amazing and really well done, not greasy at all. The fish tacos were the perfect size, covered in yummy toppings, perfectly cooked fish, overall very delicious! The woman serving us was so sweet and polite. This is a 2 sided drive up spot, with a parking lot and 2 picnic tables.

Grizzly Tuna is a drive up window. There are two lines with a window on each side. We grabbed both the tuna and chips and a tuna taco. The tuna taco is amazing but it's not for the driver. There's no way you could drive and eat this tuna taco without all of its deliciousness landing in your lap. I think they make the tuna and chips for the driver which is perfect because I didn't want to share.

On our way back from Canon Beach, I wanted Fish n Chips and found this drive thru in Seaside. I got a small Tuna fish n Chips, comes with 3 pieces Tuna. This was one of the best Fish n Chips I have had. The tuna was fresh, fried right with the right amount of breading. The chips were crisp. The service was great. I asked if they had any spicy sauce and she added in the special sauce they use on their tacos. It was good. Will definitely be back when in Canon Beach or Seaside.

    Tacos! 2 for 10$ I believe.

We love Grizzly Tuna! We eat on the way in and on the way out! Always the first one there at 11:00 when they open so we can hit the road after! Tacos have great flavor!! It hits the spot every time! Giant fish and chips are so good! Split between two small kids and my wife. Service was great, we got there and out within 8 mins.

Tremendous quality fish and a great value these days! Give it a try. Tuna makes a great kind of fish and chips. The fries are high quality, too.

Quite a wait at 2pm on a Friday. The two window system could use some work. Either dedicate one to walk-ups, or maybe just use ONE window at a time, and have cars pull around for pickup so more than one order can be taken at a time? - Kind of a strange setup. The fish and chips are good, but I would have liked some malt vinegar and a lemon with mine. I think I liked the tacos better.

5 piece tuna and fries for $15.

Hot, fresh, and crispy! We're talking both the tuna AND fries. This was a yummy little stop on our way to Astoria. You drive up to this tiny building and order at the window and stay there till your order is ready. The service is pretty fast for being made to order. Obviously you want to make sure you have a crispy crunchy layer on the tuna. We enjoyed our 5 pieces of tuna and fries for $15. There are a few picnic benches off to the side if you don't want to eat in your car. We just drove a few mins down the road and got out and sat on a bench by the coast. The tartar sauce is really good too!

Always fresh, always a must have when I am in town. The tacos were amazing, but the fried fish and chips is my usual go-to.

Ask the Community - Grizzly Tuna

    Is the tuna dry?

Not at all. It’s not typical halibut where it’s fishy and moist, it’s meaty but not dry. It’s freaking delicious.

    Any dairy in your batter?

No, when I had it, it did not taste like it at all.

Do you use eggs in your batter?

Not sure but you can go to their Facebook page and ask a question https://www.facebook.com/grizzlytuna/

The woman behind the bar, may have been the owner, was so kind, caring and attentive. She made conversation with me over my license from Colorado, asked my name and remembered it as I was leaving saying "have a nice day, Nate" Soooo sweet and kind. A true gem of a human. She even had regulars that she said "I told you when we were on that hike that I owe you a drink so this ones on me" freaking precious. Okay now that I'm done praising the owner/bartender. The food was exquisite too. I got a basic cheeseburger with pepper jack cheese, tomato, onion and lettuce. It was cooked well and was enjoyed heavily and quickly haha. The cook even came by to check that I liked it as well. Very warm place with great food. Much enjoyed. The place was clean and kept up well. This was one of the first dive bars I had been to where they had slots and that was a bit of a twist. I didn't roll the dice on them as the only thing I gamble on is once a year and that the horses at the Kentucky derby. Keeps my gambling in line and doesn't upset the in-laws too much. If I visit Seaside OR again, I will absolutely find myself back here for another delicious burger and friendly interaction.

The clam chowder is a must, especially in the famous bread bowl. We also ordered a Bloody Mary, shrimp and grits, plus the steamed clams! Delicious! We were heading down from Astoria and it was a windy/cloudy day in the PNW. This Seaside location has great views of the beach, so we grabbed a front table and enjoyed people-watching while taking in the waves. Loved the ambience of the place. No chairs, just benches. The patio had traditional picnic table style where you have to climb in. The tables inside were separate from the benches. Great beach/seaside view from our table. Big wall of windows. Sis ordered cod fish n chips, coleslaw w/ shrimp as the side. She liked both. Mom and I both got the blackened shrimp skewers (×15) with fries, w/ clam chowder as our sides. I've never had clam chowder before. OMG... have I been missing out!? Or maybe it's just good here. I was surprised to find diced potatoes in my cup. And the cream broth had just a hint of fishiness. A cup was the prefect amount. Mom and I both liked the blackened shrimp as well. Loved the seasoning on it (possibly Old Bay??). The cute fish plate had cocktail sauce for dipping. Had a strong horseradish flavor. And the fries had a good crunch to soft potato ratio, but were greasy. Our server was friendly and helpful with menu questions. I wish we knew about this area before and had planned to stay more than an afternoon. I would return to try other menu options.... like the po-boy!
