This takeout only place is a real gem. I like the fish and chips just fine but for me the star item is the fish tacos. They are absolutely delicious, fresh tasting and have a little kick to them. Two good sized tacos for $10 seems very reasonable. The staff that poke their heads out the window are always friendly. This small, unassuming, drive-through place is definitely a hidden gem! With so many other options in this area, it really shines. We stopped here on the way home, and after reading the other Yelp reviews, decided to try it for ourselves. BTW, there *are* two sides to this drive through. So if the front has a line, pull up around the back. We picked out two large fish & chip orders for the family. It took some time for the order to be made, but I could tell that they took time to make our order fresh. The fish was breaded and perfectly crispy. It was also thick enough to feel meaty (as opposed to other fish places where the fish (often cod, I believe, as opposed to tuna), is often soft, and easily breakable)). The fries were good too! We always make a point of stopping here when we're in Seaside. It just looks like a random coffee stand or something from the road, but it serves up some of the best tuna fish and chips anywhere! Fish and chips should be made out of tuna more often, cause it's far superior to cod - much less greasy. My wife really likes their fish tacos too. There's really not much else on the menu, but there doesn't need to be. It's not super fast, cause they make it when you order it, but it's worth the wait. read more

We were disappointed from the start. We have stopped here many times during our camping and the coast outings but the last two visits have been disappointing. The fish and chips used to seem fresh but the last two times it has been dry and tough. Over cooked or low quality? We were the first customers on 1/12/2025 and the person taking our order was not friendly either. Such a disappointment as we drove two hours to visit the coast and specifically to eat here. I really wanted to like this place based off of the reviews I read but it wasn't giving what I thought it was supposed to give. I've never had tuna fish + chips so this was new for me but I definitely prefer cod. The tuna wasn't overly dry but I just didn't enjoy it. The fries were great and portions were generous. We've eaten here many times. My favorite choice are the spicy fish tacos. The cotijja cheese and spicy sauce add a great touch. I'm not a big fish person, and these pass, even my husband will eat them, and he rarely likes fish. They are always steaming hot with cunchy breading, fresh toppings, and a soft, thick tortilla. There are two outdoor tables, or drive to a better lookout spot and eat in your car. Alongside the highway, ambiance suffers, but it's also convenient. read more

The wait was about 20 minutes but well worth it. The staff was super friendly and helped decide what to get. Menu is super simple and easy. We ended up getting 2 large fish and chips and 2 tacos. Not wanting to miss out on the fresh food we drove across the street to the parking lot to setup our camera and record. First I tried the fish taco. Bursting with flavor and that feta cheese with the pico and cabbage. I wasn't expecting that. Wish it had more sauce in it tho but over all delicious. Then the main event. 5 pieces of glorious golden fried deliciousness. That crunch is everything. The tuna shocked me after so many years of eating it out of a can my expectations was rocked when I took my first bite. My first thought... How have I passed this shop so many times and never stopped!!!! I kept eating then I remembered I have hot sauce in the car for occasions like this. The crystal hot sauce takes the fish to the next level. Only thing missing: lemon The French fries was fried to perfection and had the perfect amount of salt. Excellent crunch. Very good Fish and Chips! With that said, I like Bowpicker Fish & Chips (located in Astoria, Oregon) best for the Albacore Fish and Chips. However, whenever I am going through Seaside, Oregon, I will definitely be hitting this place up. Absolutely the best fish tacos ever I've been here 4 days and visited this place 3 times! So good!!!

My brother and I LOVE fish & chips and Grizzly Tuna completely hit the spot and satiated our craving for hot, crispy, perfectly battered fried fish. First of all, need to give Grizzly Tuna a major thank you for being open until 7pm and actually happily serving us when we rolled up at 6:55pm (despite no other customers being there). Most other businesses would have shut it down for the night. The fish and chips came out hot and fresh and cooked perfectly. We each ordered a large order and I thought the amount of food was a good value for $12. Definitely recommend if you're in Seaside. This was our third fish and chip place we visited. I really liked it. It was different than the other two. Those two used panko or a tempura batter this felt more like fish stick breading. It was really nice and refreshing. I would say out of the 3 and they all used tuna I would put this close to 2 in my ranking. I liked the price. I liked the service. I liked the food. It was really good across the board. I would definitely visit again, but I hope on my return visit they have a slightly better setup with the parking lot. Easy access off of main road across from Safeway. Wasn't sure if they were open when we pulled in but they were. Girl was friendly. Got the fish tacos, they were 2 for $10. Took less than 5 minutes for them to make 4 tacos. And they did not disappoint. All the topping ingredients tasted and fish were super fresh, with a slightly spicy sauce. Definitely messy to eat in the car so be prepared but they supplied plenty of napkins and forks. 10 outta 10 would recommend!!
