Chilaquiles (red & green) with added chicken & avocado
Shawn O.

Finally had the opportunity to try Grove out on a random Tuesday afternoon. This place is busy alot of the time (especially on Sundays for brunch) so calling in for reservations is probably a good idea. Had the Avocado Toast (tomatoes on the side) and the Chilaquiles (half red & green) with added chicken and avocado. The avocado toast came covered in arugula (which we missed reading on her menu) so that came off but the toast was really good. The chilaquiles bowl was pretty big - be aware! Everything was really great - chicken was nice & tender and fried eggs were cooked perfectly. Cool spot, nice service, tasty food - we'll be back!

Scrambled eggs and sausage. So yummy!!

A beautiful lazy Sunday afternoon in May deserves an ending to remember, and Grove on the Eastside of El Paso most definitely fits the bill. Great atmosphere, music and the service staff smiling and being welcoming is added plus. I felt extremely relaxed sitting at my table watching all the action of the bar tenders wait staff etc. The music was very nice, not too low but not to load either. My server Josh was on his game and reassured everything was working out perfectly. Food still amazing, presentation wonderful, just wish this place stayed open a little bit later at least one day out the week. Top 2 favorite drinks: 1- The freshly squeezed OJ. 2- The hibiscus mimosas. Ooh so freaking goooooood. Love this place.

Visited Grove for the first time today and I will say we had some pros and cons to our experience. The atmosphere was great, service was okay, our server forgot our waters and we consistently had to remind her to fill our water cups. Food on the other hand was delicious; however, the one downside to our food was the skillet. The skillet's pork belly was extremely dry. The flavors on both dishes were stellar. However, the skillet could have been improved by not having the pork belly overcooked. The Groves variety of coffee and mimosas is plentiful. Our favorite mimosa was the coconut mimosa. We look forward to hopefully giving the grove another try as I stated it had many positives and very few negatives.

Kids breakfast plate

The food was amazing! I ordered crab Benedict. It was delicious and had a beautiful presentation. I had the grandkids with me. One of them had the French toast plate which came with bananas and whipped cream. She also ordered a side of bacon. She ate the entire plate and thought it was delicious. The grandson had the kids breakfast platter. It came with pancakes, eggs, and fruit. It is a nice serving size for children. My daughter had the Chilaquiles verde with fried eggs on top. All of the food was good. I also had a strawberry matcha & the rest had f orange juice. The service was quick & efficient. The server did a good job of checking on us. The ambiance was nice. Cute green benches. I would highly recommend trying this place.

Crab cakes eggs benedict + Baileys french toast

Such a cute brunch spot! I went on a Saturday around 8:30am and it was pretty busy, but we got seated quickly. My husband and I got two mimosas along with the bulgogi quesadillas, which were AMAZING! I would go again just for those. For our meals, we got the crab cake eggs benedict and the Baileys French toast. These were both good, but the crab cakes were a little too fishy for my husband and the French toast didn't have as much coffee flavor as I expected. I do want to go back and try their other dishes though because they have so much variety!

The food was delicious of course, but the wait time was a while. Even though that felt frustrating, our server made it worth the wait! Lily was outstanding! She was attentive and always there if we needed anything. She made the experience worth while! If I could give more stars I would!

I've been here many times and always LOVE it! I had the crab cakes Benedict (and forgot to take a pic lol) but I got a pic of the delicious mimosa. It has never been too crowded and the wait has never been long. It's clean and roomy. The outside patio was blocked off today, not sure why. But it's usually where I enjoy sitting.

Crab mac n cheese

Our server Josh was great! The ambiance of the place was nice and cute. Menu had lots of choices that looked so good. It was hard to pick just one.

Croissant breakfast sandwich and potatoes

Breakfast sandwich was very good! Vibe is very cutesy here, very Instagram-able . Service was good! Will be returning.

Breakfast pizza- It's not delicious it's DiGiorno I did ask for it with no prosciutto since I do not eat meat.

This place needs to offer vegan and GF DISHES! Their menu is extremely limited for people like me.

Well, the food was great and you have so much to choose from. And, breakfast is served all day. I need to come back next time for that. I ordered salmon and it was delicious. Alan, the server was great. The restaurant looked great with images of bears and it has a good feel for it.

I had the pot roast with salad, and had bread pudding for dessert. My dining partners had a chili bowl with corn muffin, a Denver omelette with hash browns and corned beef hash with potatoes, scrambled eggs and added a waffle, because WAFFLES!! Oh and they split a chocolate cream pie. So my salad was amazing, forgot to take a pic. The ranch dressing here is really good. Ripe to and crisp romaine. And nice cucumbers. My pot roast was so tender it was simply falling apart, the veggies under were nice. The gravy was yummy, I had to ask for some extra. The green beans were simply amazing here. And they had corn on the cob!!! Bi-colored, sweet, tender-crisp when you took a bite! SO GOOD. My dining partners liked their food, the Denver omelette was a picture to look at and huge. The only real complaint there was the has was just too dry. It was just shredded corned beef and small cubed potatoes. It needed something to bring it all together, she said. She didn't finish it. The 3 of them split a chocolate cream pie. It looked very nice but when cutting into it, to share slices, that was impossible, it was not set inside, it was very runny. Perhaps the waiter grabbed one that had just been made and not one that had chilled long enough, but they ate it with spoons and loved the flavor. My bread pudding was spectacular. I love Bread Pudding anyway, but this was very very good but the third bite in, it was cold, not just refrigerator cold but super cold. So I called the waiter back over and asked him to please reheat it because it was like near frozen in the middle. Which he happily did and also added some fresh whipped cream for me. So a couple of miscues with the desserts but all in all a nice birthday celebration. MAGGIE, I know you wanted me to email you, on my previous review, HOWEVER, your email address you gave bounced back as undeliverable or not an email address on several email options I have. Just to let you know, I tried. I was going to just come talk to you in person, but today was not the day to do that sort of thing. Could you check and see if your email address is correct? Thank you! Love the BBD! Will be back again.

The food was a nice change of pace from traditional El Paso foods. Soul food eggrolls: it was like a big spoonful of granny's Sunday meal without overeating. I'd never put greens, Mac n cheese, and chicken together but somehow it worked. Understandably, it wasn't seasoned like granny's to appease the masses, but the sauce on the side elevated the taste. Shrimp and grits: such a New Orleans feel to it, a much try and f you like the taste of grits. Savory and flavorful. The steak skillet was a heaping serving of deliciousness. We definitely got our money's worth and took food home. Eating here was such a pleasant experience, we can't wait to go back and try other menu items.

TVs are located throughout, from various table angles. Our server Alex will receive 5/5 stars for his kindness, attentiveness and attention to not only our table but his very full and frequently sat section. However, when reaching out to other staff members for assistance in his absence, there were some things that fell through the cracks. Missing silverware, condiments not being present, and at times things going forgotten or unnoticed when requested. The appetizer (pictured) Philly Egg-rolls, were the best food option we received for brunch that afternoon. It was shareable between 3 adults and filling before the entrees arrived. I wouldn't order the Monte Cristo Sandwhich again, very large, dry and just didn't pair well with the potatoes and the jam offered (pictured). We did have to switch out drinks due to her taste and upkeep up the beverages. The sweet tea originally ordered did not taste well but received new drinks upon request: Mango and Strawberry lemonade. This is a family friendly place, busy, but I would give it another chance.

They have that authentic hole in the wall taste everyone wants, with the appeal, cleanliness and service of a well kept and professional chain. Yay! I've come here twice so far. Once for dinner and the other for breakfast. For dinner we took our food to-go and ordered a fish taco, shrimp taco and California burritos for the rest of the family. All was good, but I have to admit that I've had better fish tacos and wouldn't order that again. Still good tho! The burritos were great. In fact, our next visit was for breakfast burritos and they were so good and filling I couldn't even finish mine! Worth the price for sure. I ordered bacon, egg and cheese and the bacon wasn't fatty at all, and they didn't skimp on any of the ingredients. My husband ordered the country burrito which contained eggs, potatoes and cheese. He added steak and that hit the spot! We dined in and the staff were very friendly and courteous. They even brought our food to our table when we could have easily walked up to the counter to pick it up. We're so happy to have found a taco shop close to our home that satisfies our San Diegan taste buds. This could be a problem lol. I'll be bringing my brother here when he comes to visit. So, it got crowded in the dining room pretty quick. If it weren't so busy or if they cycled through the customers, it would be better. They had a bunch of table games to keep you entertained in case you wanted to hang out I would like to try their guava and other pastries, their Caribbean sandwiches (tripleta, and bistec). Both were very good and the portions are huge my partner and I should've just shared. I was a little disappointed of their mango tamarindo drink. I thought that it was mango and tamarind(the fruit) mixed together not chamoy and chile(Tajín) in the drink. I wasn't happy and just ordered another and asked if I can have the mango and tamarind without chili and they said yes. The tamarind still has a spice to it which it shouldn't, tamarind is tart and sour. I guess that's where the misconception of Mexican and Puerto Rican terms collide. I would go back but I guess ask next time if the drinks are Puerto Rican terms or in Mexican terms.
