Like any guy, I have had a million burgers in my life and when I was invited for a business lunch by a broker, I was very open to his attestations that Grump's was very good... HOWEVER, this was absolutely the best burger I have ever had.... The combination of very good quality meat, perfectly cooked, shredded lettuce, pickles, sauce, home made buns made onsite... friendly service, really cool decor... Hands down, probably one of the best burgers I have ever had. Had the Bacon Cheeseburger with Onion Rings. For the burger- Moist, well seasoned large patty with rich cheddar cheese, pickles, shredded lettuce, and just the right amount of mustard on a jalapeno sourdough bun which was browned perfectly. For the onion rings- Perfect crisp and amount of breading. They paired very well with their house-made jalapeno ketchup. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The manager even talked to us personally for several minutes about the business and the town. The house made chips are great. The burgers come with a fat patty and have few spitouts which makes it even better, not much flavor in the patty and they must have been rationing the mustard Saturday night when were there, All in all the only burgers better are served on my deck. If you go on a weekend and it's after dark you may as well park at the oil change place next door cause the parking lot is full; if it is you'll have to backup all the way back to the highway cause there's no exit around the back of the building. Great dining experience, every time I drove by this place it was packed so we decided to give it a try. The atmosphere is perfect for the place and the staff were friendly, it's that burger smell that first hits you, the onions on the grill, starts the mouth watering, to you walk in and step up to order, we had the chips and queso, and the Queso burger and she had the Swiss mushroom burger, everything is cooked fresh, no warmed hamburger patties sitting by, the chips are homemade and the Queso is wonderful, the burger was fun to eat and was delicious, great place for burgers and to hangout and watch a game. read more

One of the best hamburgers we have eaten in a long time. Meat was thick and hot. The jalapeño bun was soft and delicious. I had sweet potato fries while my husband had regular fries. We actually took the top bun off and studied our burgers Whoever made them, meticulously placed everything so that you would have each ingredient in every bite, even the edges. Very impressive!
