    Honey vanilla latte
    Rashmi V.

I've had Amp Coffee bookmarked for a while, so since I was in the area after visiting another spot, I finally decided to stop in and try it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]One thing that was a little confusing at first, I don't believe their name is clearly displayed on the outside of the building[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I had the address pulled up on Google, which is how I ultimately found it, but it took a second to make sure I was actually in the right place. When I walked in, I waited a few minutes to order. The service was just okay. One of the girls tried to make casual conversation, but it didn't feel very genuine. What was more frustrating was that someone who ordered after me received her drink before I did. I had to ask if the drink sitting there was mine, and the barista asked, "Oh, are you still waiting for your drink?" which was a little awkward, especially since I was in a rush. He did say it would just be a few more minutes, but the mix-up was definitely noticeable and made someone else's drink before mine. I ordered the honey vanilla latte. The latte itself was good, smooth and well made, but the honey and vanilla flavors were very subtle I was hoping they'd come through a bit more. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space itself is huge and really cool. It looks like they have some sort of music or instrumental studio setup connected to the space, which gives it a unique vibe. It's very spacious and would honestly be a great place to study or hang out for a while.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall, it's a cool spot with solid coffee and a great atmosphere. Service could definitely be improved, but I would come back to try other drinks. I was hoping to try the rosemary sage, but didn't see it clearly on the menu maybe next time when I'm not in a rush.

Cute coffee shop in North Hollywood [[HIGHLIGHT]]Definitely unique style with quality products.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Menu is small but well worth it Love their baked goods So fresh and flavorful. Large too. Worth the cost Parking here is a bit tough [[HIGHLIGHT]]Looks like the place was a converted office or theater building[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was quick and efficient too

Seasonal iced latte with blueberry syrup and usually garnished with a sprig of rosemary but I asked for no sprig.

This was my second time into Amp coffee. The first time was early morning and the atmosphere was quiet and I grabbed my coffee to go. Today, we sat and enjoyed a seasonal iced latte and iced matcha with pastries from Sugarbloom Bakery (a pretzel croissant and a curry chicken pocket). The seasonal latte was tasty. And pastries from Sugarbloom are always delish! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere was lively in the afternoon with customers occupying tables and musicians coming and going, in and out of the music studios.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Music was bleeding out of the walls into the space where patrons visited and worked over their Amp coffee and food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was a satisfying experience since I was chatting with a friend, but If you were trying to study or work, headphones would be in order. Staff was kind and accommodating. Metered street parking on Lankershim.

Had been a long time between my last visits and this recent one and I can't believe that I had never wrote a review. I was reminded why this is one of the best coffee shops in the Valley and beyond. They use quality coffee beans, Stereoscope is my fave in LA. Beyond just sourcing quality beans they have skilled and friendly baristas. Very minimal menu, no fillers or trying too hard to be "cool". Quality over quantity and trends in the best way possible. And the bonus of parking in the back in a busy street is a huge plus. Add that they have rehearsal studios for us musicians is yet another bonus that very few places can offer. I can't stop thinking about that iced pour over I had a couple of weeks back! Coming back to hopefully get the same one again!

    Need to try everything.

Cute little coffee shop with great matcha and amazing brioche cinnamon rolls. Friendly service and hardly any wait for a Sunday morning. If I'm ever out in Noho, this will be my go to spot for coffee after a walk around Magnolia Park.

Came in to this place 10 minutes before they closed and they still made us some great coffee and had great attitudes about doing at as well! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Customer service was great and ofc the shop was extra clean because it's before closing time -- this coffee shop is also connected to a rehearsal space and they also sell guitar accessories as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had tried one of their most popular coffees the honey vanilla latte and got it iced. I would rate the coffee of this place a 7/10 overall.

After discovering Amp Coffee, I was amped up to check it out. What's exciting is that they're connected to some studio rooms, but being in the Arts District, parking was easier to be had via metered street parking ($1/hr, 4 hrs max). For starters, they were a little difficult to find even on Google Maps, having to walk a little further to the middle of the block. However, it's hard to miss once you see the big vertical COFFEE letters. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The area is quite tall and despite some background music, it was easy to focus up inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had their large iced latte, and the iced latte was tasty at the beginning though did get quite watered down halfway through from the ice - halfway through being an hour after. Other than that, the iced latte boasted a good taste. Service was fairly quick - in and out in 5 minutes - and there is fast Wi-Fi and plenty of indoor seating options, even with power outlets!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Look , for what it is- which is a coffee bar at an artist co-op space, it works.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]So, its not a space to come and hang out, unless you've rented a space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Its a grab-and-go type of shop, that can make you feel very out of place, if you're not from the scene.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was friendly, however! Very accomodating and cheery. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a perfect spot for the area it's in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Salted Scotch Toddy (LATTE)
    Soraya S.

Trust the ratings! This place has a delicious salted scotch toddy. I got it as it comes aside from changing the milk to oat for +$1. The drink came with some pretty latte art and a little decorative dusting. It also came at a drinkable temperature! Service was great. Baristas were very patient and open to questions. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great ambience with muted band music in the background and the sound of all the coffee machines, typing and some light conversation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Tried this coffee shop for the first time yesterday after grabbing breakfast in the area! Didn't realize this was right next to the horror cafe we've been to in the past. The windows are tinted and I guess I didn't really notice the sign that it was a coffee shop but found it through Yelp! This place is HUGE. I guess they have studios as well to do recording but it was definitely an unexpected environment. Hopped in line, ordered an Iced version of their seasonal drink, The Sage Advice, and was in love! It's a sweet, herby latte made from ground Sage, maple syrup, maple extract, Demerara brown sugar and topped with a fresh sprig of rosemary! So many scents and flavors happening with this one but it was delicious. Sad that it's a seasonal but can't wait to try their other drinks! The barista with the blonde streaks/brown hair was super sweet and even complimented my hair. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great vibes and love the atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's all street/metered parking so we got lucky on a Sunday morning! IG: @ammysalamii

Amp Coffee is probably one of my top 3 favorite places to get coffee in the NoHo area. I usually go for an iced latte but we've definitely tried a few of their other menu options and they've always been great. I like that their drinks are not too sweet. They also have good matcha. Baristas can be 50/50. Sometimes they are in a really good mood and other times they are not... but hey, that's true of all of us. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place itself is also a music studio, so you will see people coming in and out with all kinds of agendas.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is some seating but not too much, so really just depends on what time you're there and what else is going on.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's quiet enough to sit down and have a quick meet up with someone.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I see people with kids stopping by too, so I'm sure the locals pass through on their daily walks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I think there is a designated parking lot for this spot, but it can be tricky getting into and if you go during the earlier parts of the day, the entryway to the parking is sometimes blocked by trucks that are loading/unloading. So I would say street parking is your best bet. It is all metered but if you're just going to pick up or take it to go, it's not too bad. I've taken different friends here and they've all also enjoyed Amp Coffee.

Coffee shop and music studio?? What a place! [[HIGHLIGHT]]This cute coffee shop is located on the bustling streets of Lankershim Blvd.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a pretty large space with multiple sound rooms and the coffee shop in the middle.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I can't speak on their sound studios, but their coffee is elite! Their seasonal favorite rose saffron was just what I needed! Their staff are super friendly and sweet as well, highly recommend!

    Honey vanilla latte
    Nataly K.

Not bad but not great either. The honey vanilla latte was nice but neither it nor the butterscotch toddy were flavorful at all. They tasted essentially the same, but the vanilla was a bit better while the butterscotch was almost watery. Service was okay. The set up inside looked really cool like a great place to hang out!

After I tapped my card, I was told that there had been a mistake and that I had only been charged 9 cents, so I needed to come back and pay again. Mistakes happen, and I would have completely understood if he had simply apologized and handled the situation professionally. Instead, he continued playing on his phone while dealing with me. The entire interaction came across as incredibly rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Customer service should be the bare minimum, especially when someone is taking the time to come into your establishment and spend their money.
