Axis repaired a broken control knob on our Bertazzoni range. Diagnostics was about 15 minutes and $90. We were told repair would be $330 and that included the diagnostics. However, they ended up charging $330 in addition to the $90 even though the repair was well under an hour. I had no problem with the technician who was on time and efficient and fixed the problem. I do however have a problem with the billing and the customer service in poor communication and not refunding the original money. I don't plan on using them again for this reason. read more

Three service visits for two different issues with the same outcome; appliance still broken. 1. New microwave/hood combo received with damage but it wasn't noticed until a few weeks later when it came time to install. Contacted the manufacture, told them exactly what the issue what was damaged. Service tech came out, looked at the appliance, said "We need to order the part." and leaves. Well obviously. I told you what was damaged, why waste my time and bother coming out without the replacement part? Nearly a month goes by and no contact from Axis. We call Axis and get "It's out of our hands. We're waiting for the manufacture." So I call the Manufacture, bring them up to speed on the situation. The agent does a little digging, and finds no open order with Axis for the part we need. So the manufacture sends the part directly to our house and it arrives a week later. Axis returns to install the replacement part and only after completing the installation does the technician discover it's the wrong part. "Sorry, nothing we can do" says the technician and he leaves. I end up resolving the issue myself. 2. Fast forward 6 months and the ice maker stops working. I spend a week trying to solve it myself just to avoid dealing with Axis again. Alas, I'm unsuccessful so I call the manufacture and they route my service request to Axis. oh well, maybe i'll get a different technician. maybe last time was a fluke. I get a call from an AI service agent to schedule my appointment. The technician never shows up. I call Axis back and am told "whoops, that was a mistake." not even a simple apology for the mistake. Next appointment is another 3 days away. Technician comes out, turns the ice maker off then back on, stares at it for a minute, tells me he has to order a part and walks out the door. I told them during the service request that I had already done that and it didn't fix the issue. I'm about to go out of pocket rather than rely on the warranty just to ensure this actually gets repaired. read more

Hands down the worst customer service I've ever experienced. A technician came out on Monday, diagnosed the issue, and then... nothing. After multiple follow-ups, I found out the part wasn't even ordered until Friday night. Once it arrived, I had to wait another 5 days for an appointment. I clearly requested a 30-minute call ahead... multiple times, so I could ensure someone was home. That never happened. Instead, the technician showed up unannounced, called me after arriving, and left when I said I needed 15 minutes to get there (the exact reason I requested a call ahead). I had someone arrive at my house within 5 minutes, and he was already gone. After multiple calls, I was told he moved on to another job and might come back later. Completely unacceptable. Zero communication, no accountability, and a complete disregard for my time. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

Then finally when it came scheduled a visit today to install it. They called and cancelled his visit at the last minute saying a technician is unavailable. I took time off from work to be at home to ensure my fridge is repaired after almost 3 weeks of waiting to store my perishable food. This is not the way to treat customers. An Unimaginable and Unbelievable Experience! I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with First American Home Warranty (hereinafter "First American") and their contractor, Axis Appliance Repair (hereinafter "Axis"), has been extremely frustrating. Dealing with the companies was a time-consuming and disappointing ordeal that unfortunately did not resolve my issue. On April 6, 2026, I opened a service request for my washing machine. First American dispatched Axis to complete the repair. Despite having visited my home five separate times, Axis failed to repair the washing machine. For weeks, the machine was left partially disassembled and completely unusable. My experience with Axis technicians has been far from satisfactory. Consistently, the technicians arrived well after the latest scheduled time, which was quite inconvenient. On several occasions, they stayed in my home until midnight and later, leaving me exhausted and frustrated. During the last visit, and well after midnight, the technician assured me that the problem with my washer was resolved. However, before the technician left, I requested him to run a cycle on the washer to ensure everything was functioning correctly. Unfortunately, the washer began leaking, this time from a different area than the original problem. To make matters worse, the machine abruptly stopped working in the middle of the spin cycle. I recorded the incident, capturing the washer's malfunction as proof of the ongoing issues. Despite witnessing these problems firsthand, the technician concluded that the washer was repaired and proceeded to close the ticket. This dismissal of my concerns left me feeling unheard and dissatisfied with the service provided. After I contacted First American about the unresolved issue, they dispatched a new repair company. Unfortunately, because Axis claimed the problem was fixed, First American cancelled the new repair company's repair order twice. Despite my patience, cooperation, and payment of service fees, months of delays and unsuccessful repair attempts left me without a working washing machine. Due to my work schedule and the sheer inconvenience of the situation, I ultimately purchased a new washing machine outside the warranty company in July, more than four months after my initial service request. A home warranty is supposed to provide peace of mind when covered appliances break down. Instead, this experience was anything but reassuring. First American did not resolve the matter by either replacing the washing machine or ensuring it was properly repaired. I hope that sharing my experience will help others make informed decisions when considering a home warranty provider. read more

Oleg was awful and rude from the start. He was claiming that I said it was the dryer that wasn't working when it was the washer. He then claims is draining just fine and dismissed our concerns about it not cycling properly. He called me downstairs and just simply said it drains. I said that's it? Not looking into any other issues that were reported? I'm not paying for you to not do anything and just make a statement. He then claims he unplugged and plugged the appliance back in and "is working, now reset" and left. Tried to put in a load and won't work. Nobody is calling back after notifying them 2.5hours ago. Terrible customer service. My home warranty company contracted with Axis to come out and repair my refrigerator. As it was I had to wait 6 days for the appointment, then appointment day window is 11-2. No one shows up, no phone call. I attempt to call them several times and am on hold for 45 minutes only to be hung up on twice. Finally get a call back and they say a technician will be out by 4 and to take all of the food out of my refrigerator. Call back at 5 only to be hung up on twice again before being told the technician left the area and they can't accommodate me until Monday. Do yourself a favor and use another company. read more

No I am not happy with the service. Im very disappointed. Your worker just tired to charge me $250 for "cleaning" my dryer. He was here for 5 min and determined that my dryer was dirty and thats why it wasn't drying properly. I told him that ive already cleaned it previously and that it shuts off mid cycle. But he suggested that I just add extra time when drying my clothes. I told him that its not correct as I want my dryer working properly again. I feel as they just go around collecting the insurance services fee by taking a picture to prove that they showed up and did their job. They called to cancel about a day later. Rescheduled the appointment for two weeks later.... And despite the fact that they promised to call if they had a cancellation they never did.... Until... they cancel for the second time the day before the 2nd appointment date... Now I'm being told the next appointment is over a week out. My dryer would not turn on so I contacted my extended warranty company to initiate a repair claim. Within an hour the appliance repair company (Axis Appliance Repair) texted me about the repair claim. I contacted Axis Appliance Repair and an appointment was scheduled. The technician arrived and diagnosed the failed component and a replacement part was special ordered. When the part arrived I was contacted and an appointment was set up. Part replacement was performed quickly and dryer operation was restored. The repair technician Alex was extremely polite and left the dryer area spotless. Like many people who've left reviews, we were referred to Axis Appliance Repair by Frigidaire. The communication from Axis has been nothing short of atrocious. Their technician missed the 3-hour appointment window and did not bother to notify us of the delay. When we called the Axis office, the receptionist apologized said she could not provide any additional information but would try contacting him and then follow-up with me. That follow-up did not occur; I had to follow-up myself. The owner, Alexey, has left many replies to the Yelp reviews on this page with a comment to the effect of "sorry this happened, we'll look into it and make sure it doesn't happen again." Based on my experience, they've instituted no changes. This experience has been so poor it has actually soured me on Frigidaire appliances. I usually don't post reviews, but this was such a horrible experience. I eco previous posts. I was unfortunately referred to Axis Appliance Repair by Electrolux. Axis is very difficult to deal with. Unfriendly staff and technician. They are all unhappy. They canceled my appointment several times. On the day they finally fixed my washer machine (after 2 weeks), my appointment window was from 12-3pm, but they showed up at 6:00pm. I left work early to be home, but no show. I called them several times that afternoon and the receptionist told me that the technician was actually arriving by 4:00 (without ever apologizing.) Well, he arrived at 6:00pm. The problem with my machine was just the rubber belt. It literally took the unfriendly technician 5 minutes to change it, but it took Axis 15 days to do it. They make you pay in advance for the service and part so you become a "hostage." This company really sour me on Electrolux/Frigidaire appliances. My washer is the only Electrolux appliance I have and I am not getting another appliance from them. Definitely never using Axis Repair ever again. If you can select your own repair company, you should definitely avoid AXIS APPLIANCE REPAIR. read more

Unfortunately, the home warranty I USED TO HAVE relies on these folks to do the job. Not sure the level of scrutiny that goes into selecting them but beware, do your homework and make sure you know them ahead of time. And also, it helps to know a little of what your appliance is going thru to isolate the issue you are having. This company was sent to my home, and the gentleman that came in, he was there for only 9 minutes (I have it on video) and left. We asked for his name and a business card and gave us nothing. He could barely communicate with us...he just said, "my supervisor will call" and that's it...he left. One email later, I get a detailed report that said, "no mechanical damage to the washer, no repairs needed". And I say DETAILED cause it was 3 pages explaining all that was done, when he did nothing. And on top of that, he blamed the dryer as the source of our issue. We told him, we had already isolated the issue and is coming from the washer. But we were ignored. The solution to our clothes being damaged was a loose baffle. All they needed to do is replace it, $65 part. But no, Mr. Technician came in, spent 9 minutes touching and using his fancy flashlight to look at the washer and blame the dryer for the damaged clothing. Way to go Axis...you rock (bottom). If I could give this company zero stars, I would. Unfortunately, my home warranty assigned them to my claim, and what followed was one of the most frustrating and costly experiences I've ever had. They came to my home FIVE separate times and still failed to properly diagnose the issue. Each visit resulted in a different guess, none of which fixed the problem. Because of their repeated misdiagnoses and incompetence, I ended up paying out-of-pocket to correct their mistakes. A warranty claim that should have saved me money ended up costing me more because of them. Not only were they unable to fix the issue, but they also damaged my property in the process. Items in my home were mishandled and left in worse condition than before they arrived. There was no accountability and no care shown for my home. Communication was another major problem. The technicians did not speak English, which made explaining the problem extremely difficult. They relied on YouTube videos during appointments and used Google Translate to try to communicate. Watching someone search for tutorials on their phone in your home while you're paying for professional service is beyond concerning. This company should not be sent out for warranty work. They lack professionalism, competence, and basic customer care. Do yourself a favor and request a different contractor immediately if your warranty company assigns them. Stay far away. read more

Evidently, these guys are an approved warranty repair company for Frigidaire appliances and I've had them as the repair people for (2) practically new refrigerators of the same model with the same problem bought last Sept. Scheduling with them has been a nightmare and unprofessional. They have had to schedule/reschedule (4) times to repairs these items and right now, one of the refrigerator as is still not working. They stood me up today, claiming I didn't answer the phone when they called 20 mins before the appt., SO THEY JUST DIDNT SHOW UP. When I had to call to insist they hold up their end of the appt, the person said there were no techs in the area and they couldn't anyone have anyone come by today. When I explained how unprofessional that was, THE SCHEDULER HUNG UP ON ME. That's what you can expect. Buyer beware. As a property manager with tenants and who don't have an operational refrigerator, this not only looks bad for Fridgidaire, but also bad for me in the eyes of our tenants. My initial appointment did not happen because the technician was stuck at a prior job. Communication on that could have been better. The rescheduled appointment was flawless. I got a call 25 minutes before the tech arrived, as promised. The tech, Mohammed, was efficient, professional and clearly explained the problem and the solution and was able to make the repair during the appointment. He was tidy and even vacuumed up afterwards. The customer service at the company is HORRIBLE. My home warranty Choice sent them to fix my fridge in May. It is now Aug and I still do not have a working fridge. They came and tried to fix 3 different parts eventually they admitted on July 25th that they can not fix it. All they need to do is submit the paperwork to my insurance company that says they can not fix it and recommend I get a replacement. I have called every day since the 25th, waited on hold for 20+ min for someone to answer and been told they will submit the paperwork today or tomorrow. I was just told the same thing again today, Aug 3. I have also been told and texted every day that a manager will call me back. They never have. I have 2 kids and I can not keep milk or anything cold in my house for them. This is absolutely crazy. Insist that your insurance not use this company. I will update every day here if they have submitted my paperwork yet and if they ever have a manager call me back. Absolutely thee worst company and process I have ever dealt with. I understand their hands might be tied when it comes to Allstate protection plan but their communication is awful. First appt - no show Second appt- was given a 4 hour window, they arrived one hour late. Didn't say hi, bye, nothing. I found out later via email that they were not able to fix anything. That was 2 weeks ago. Still no outcome. Third appt ( for second unit) at this point I know that they might not show so I called an hour before that 4 hour window was up and no surprise, they just were not going to come. We have been without a washer or dryer for over a month with no solution in sight. read more

Unfortunately, I have to agree with the rest of the 1 star reviewers here. Just another cheapest bid wins, home warranty company with no value in quality, effort or customer service. The initial dishwasher repair employee came and "fixed" the leak in our dishwasher without saying more than 5 words to us. Except it wasn't fixed and the next time we used it, it leaked again and this was enough to cause damage (raising) to the kitchen flooring around it. The second time the same employee came, he did fix the leak, while also leaving a pool of water in the under-sink cabinet. I ultimately called Axis' "customer service" line to speak with a supervisor about the water damage to my floor and cabinet wood. After getting pushed off, having to call back 5 times in 2 weeks, I finally reached and supervisor who told me I need to speak with the "service department" for a liability claim. After another 3 emails/phone calls, Alex got back to my email and asked for pictures, price of repair and said he would get back to me in a week... That was a month ago. Two more emails with no response, this is where it will end, I'm sure. Lessons learned I guess. Hopefully you can ask your Home Warranty for a different company but DEFINITELY don't use Axis by choice. read more
