Yes, it's located by a garage shop ..

Location: located in downtown Vallejo, GTT can be seen in the parking lot of an auto shop. There's some parking around the truck, if you're lucky. If not, you will be parking on the street, which doesn't feel very safe. Yes, this place is notorious for questionable activities, however it does not stop a full of people from lining up because there are just amazing. Price: seriously who can beat the $1.50 tacos!! They're inexpensive and delicious! I always come for the carnitas tacos (3 is my min!), which has a balanced spice and the texture is on point. The burritos are pretty big... and all meals comes with jalapeños and green onions. Drinks: you're usual soda pops and horchata. So gooooddd...

This was 11$ it's ridiculous it was cold and the bread look like 2 pancakes!

Its suppose to be a torta de pastor it was cold and mushy and tiny straight pancakes for bread Ive gone there since I was a child and it keeps getting worse and worse. The flavor of pastor is the best in Vallejo so I hope they get it together

$1.50/each....dos asada y dos lengua tacos. Cash only.

My favorite taco truck in V-town. Hard to go wrong with $6.50 super burritos and $1.50 tacos. I don't need a ginormous burrito at sit down restaurant prices in order to be happy, like another popular truck in town serves. Their asada is nicely charred and tasty. The lengua tacos are fantastic! Moist, tender and delicious. I like that they pair up the salsas according to what type of meat you order for your tacos too. There's almost always a line but service is fast. Note: cash ONLY. The one drawback is the neighborhood but hey.....you can get your food to go, which should solve the issue for the squeamish or scaredy pants individuals. $6.50 carne asada super burrito - 4 stars $1.50 asada tacos - 4 stars $1.50 lengua tacos - 4.5 stars

I was absolutely starving and was in a hurry. The thought of "fast food" was not working for me today. So hunnie Bunnie pulled into Guadalajara Taco Truck on the corner of Ohio and Sonoma Blvd (the South West Corner) in the Car Repair shop parking lot. What I really liked was the clean picnic tables under the tree. Since it was in the 90's, the shade and breeze were very welcome. We both ordered the Super Burrito - Carne Asada. We both agreed they were very yummy. And the kicker - they have HORCHATA too! Yummy

Excellent tacos: 3 for just $5.75!

My least favorite taco truck in Vallejo. The food was bland and the red sauce was not good.

You'll find it at the ultimate Taqueria in Vallejo when you visit La Piñata Taqueria. I paid exactly $20 (after tax) for a ridiculously sized burrito that included EXTRA ASADA and some avocado, that as a whole, was nothing to laugh at. In 2026, this might be the ultimate deal you will come across without the requirement of a coupon. Parking is readily available, and you'll notice there's always people waiting for food: a sign the food is worth coming for. My food came with a small complimentary side of pickled carrots and peppers, some onions, two salsas, and a small bag of chips. This really truly is the best in Vallejo.

I used to come here after school exams for burritos and tacos. You can't go wrong with either, but I highly recommend the suadero, their rose meat. It is easily the best thing on the menu. The burritos used to be about 12 dollars and are now around 16, but the quality and portion still make it worth it. I recently came back after about a year and it tasted exactly the same. Their service is always quick despite the long line of people there. Their complimentary pickled onions, grilled onions, and carrots along with their homemade sauces really take the burritos and tacos to another level. They have added more seating so you can eat there fresh and hot. Parking is still tight with only a few spots nearby, but it is worth it for the food.

The line was considerably long around 7:30 p.m. so it took a while for us to order and receive our food. I like that the tacos here are single tortilla -- as opposed to double tortillas, so the filling to tortilla ratio feels a lot more balanced. For both tacos, the meat is incredibly tender and flavorful. Although a bunch of sauces and garnishes are provided, the taco was good enough on its own. Of the sauces we received, my favorites to add was a squeeze of lime and the red sauce, which had a nice smokey Chipotle flavor and wasn't overly spicy. My friend ordered a quesadilla and it was absolutely massive! I definitely would only recommending ordering a quesadilla if you're sharing it, or if you're coming with a massive appetite. Overall, Tacos El Sazón Oaxaqueño was a nice gem we randomly stumbled upon while routing to In-N-Out for burgers. Between the two, I would certainly save my stomach space for tacos from Tacos El Sazón Oaxaqueño next time.

One thing that caught me off guard is that there are no prices posted anywhere. They simply tell you your total at the end, and in my experience, the prices are higher than I expected. To help others, here's what I was charged: Aguas frescas (Horchata, Strawberry Horchata, Piña, Jamaica): $7 each Burrito: $18 Mulita: $9 each Torta: $13 Huarache: $16 The food itself is very good, especially when they're not busy. When it's slower, the portions are generous and everything seems to be made with more care. During the rush, though, I've noticed the portions get smaller and the food feels a little rushed, which is disappointing considering the prices. One of my favorite things is the salsa bar. They have a great variety of salsas and toppings, including cucumbers, pickled cabbage, and other fresh additions, and you can help yourself. They also had four different aguas frescas available when I visited: Horchata, Strawberry Horchata, Piña, and Jamaica, which was a nice selection. I do think the customer service could be improved. A little more friendliness and better communication, especially about pricing, would make a big difference. Overall, the food is tasty and they offer a great selection, but I'd really like to see prices posted and more consistency with portions, especially during busy hours. Hopefully this review helps anyone wondering what to expect before ordering.

La Joya Taco Truck has been on my radar for years. I finally tried it for the first time last year,…read moreand since then it has become one of my go-to taco trucks in Vallejo. The food is very, very good, the prices are reasonable, and the portions you get are worth it. It's kind of hard to miss when driving by, but they also have a small sign near the street letting you know they're there. I had known about this taco truck for years but never stopped until last year, and now I wish I had gone sooner. I ordered a super burrito and a few tacos. One thing I really like is that they actually list the length of their burritos on the menu. That's a nice touch because sometimes you order a "super burrito" somewhere else and end up with something small. Here, you know exactly what you're getting. Out of all the taco trucks in Vallejo, this is easily one of my top three burrito trucks. I try not to burn myself out eating at the same place too often, so I like switching between favorites, and this is definitely one I keep coming back to. I almost always get the steak burrito. One thing I really love is the pico de gallo they use. They use red onions, which gives it a nice touch, and every time I get it, I can really taste the cilantro in the pico de gallo throughout the burrito. The steak and chicken street tacos were also really good but the burrito is always my favorite! Parking is never an issue because they share a parking lot with an auto body shop during off-hours, so there's usually plenty of space. They also have cones to help guide cars entering and exiting the lot. When your food is ready, they call your order number over the microphone/intercom system, then ask if you want red or green sauce and chips. Overall, I've always had a great experience here. If you're in Vallejo and looking for a good taco truck, I definitely recommend giving this place a try.
