Yes, it's located by a garage shop ..

Location: located in downtown Vallejo, GTT can be seen in the parking lot of an auto shop. There's some parking around the truck, if you're lucky. If not, you will be parking on the street, which doesn't feel very safe. Yes, this place is notorious for questionable activities, however it does not stop a full of people from lining up because there are just amazing. Price: seriously who can beat the $1.50 tacos!! They're inexpensive and delicious! I always come for the carnitas tacos (3 is my min!), which has a balanced spice and the texture is on point. The burritos are pretty big... and all meals comes with jalapeños and green onions. Drinks: you're usual soda pops and horchata. So gooooddd...

This was 11$ it's ridiculous it was cold and the bread look like 2 pancakes!

Its suppose to be a torta de pastor it was cold and mushy and tiny straight pancakes for bread Ive gone there since I was a child and it keeps getting worse and worse. The flavor of pastor is the best in Vallejo so I hope they get it together

$1.50/each....dos asada y dos lengua tacos. Cash only.

My favorite taco truck in V-town. Hard to go wrong with $6.50 super burritos and $1.50 tacos. I don't need a ginormous burrito at sit down restaurant prices in order to be happy, like another popular truck in town serves. Their asada is nicely charred and tasty. The lengua tacos are fantastic! Moist, tender and delicious. I like that they pair up the salsas according to what type of meat you order for your tacos too. There's almost always a line but service is fast. Note: cash ONLY. The one drawback is the neighborhood but hey.....you can get your food to go, which should solve the issue for the squeamish or scaredy pants individuals. $6.50 carne asada super burrito - 4 stars $1.50 asada tacos - 4 stars $1.50 lengua tacos - 4.5 stars

I was absolutely starving and was in a hurry. The thought of "fast food" was not working for me today. So hunnie Bunnie pulled into Guadalajara Taco Truck on the corner of Ohio and Sonoma Blvd (the South West Corner) in the Car Repair shop parking lot. What I really liked was the clean picnic tables under the tree. Since it was in the 90's, the shade and breeze were very welcome. We both ordered the Super Burrito - Carne Asada. We both agreed they were very yummy. And the kicker - they have HORCHATA too! Yummy

Excellent tacos: 3 for just $5.75!

My friends and I quickly stopped by Tacos El Sazón Oaxaqueño for a few tacos after dining at…read moreIn-N-Out next door. I had a chance to try out an al pastor and cabeza taco. The line was considerably long around 7:30 p.m. so it took a while for us to order and receive our food. I like that the tacos here are single tortilla -- as opposed to double tortillas, so the filling to tortilla ratio feels a lot more balanced. For both tacos, the meat is incredibly tender and flavorful. Although a bunch of sauces and garnishes are provided, the taco was good enough on its own. Of the sauces we received, my favorites to add was a squeeze of lime and the red sauce, which had a nice smokey Chipotle flavor and wasn't overly spicy. My friend ordered a quesadilla and it was absolutely massive! I definitely would only recommending ordering a quesadilla if you're sharing it, or if you're coming with a massive appetite. Overall, Tacos El Sazón Oaxaqueño was a nice gem we randomly stumbled upon while routing to In-N-Out for burgers. Between the two, I would certainly save my stomach space for tacos from Tacos El Sazón Oaxaqueño next time.

Tacos El Sazón Oaxaqueño has really good food, but there are a few things I think people should…read moreknow before they visit. One thing that caught me off guard is that there are no prices posted anywhere. They simply tell you your total at the end, and in my experience, the prices are higher than I expected. To help others, here's what I was charged: Aguas frescas (Horchata, Strawberry Horchata, Piña, Jamaica): $7 each Burrito: $18 Mulita: $9 each Torta: $13 Huarache: $16 The food itself is very good, especially when they're not busy. When it's slower, the portions are generous and everything seems to be made with more care. During the rush, though, I've noticed the portions get smaller and the food feels a little rushed, which is disappointing considering the prices. One of my favorite things is the salsa bar. They have a great variety of salsas and toppings, including cucumbers, pickled cabbage, and other fresh additions, and you can help yourself. They also had four different aguas frescas available when I visited: Horchata, Strawberry Horchata, Piña, and Jamaica, which was a nice selection. I do think the customer service could be improved. A little more friendliness and better communication, especially about pricing, would make a big difference. Overall, the food is tasty and they offer a great selection, but I'd really like to see prices posted and more consistency with portions, especially during busy hours. Hopefully this review helps anyone wondering what to expect before ordering.

We order ahead because we're on a tight schedule -- I'm a busy, involved parent getting him to the gym after school. A few weeks back, despite ordering plain chicken, his plate came out with pico de gallo. He won't eat it that way. I didn't have time to drive back, so I let it go. The following week, we ordered in person and the waitress assured me she double-checked the order. My son's meal came out correctly -- but my plate was made plain instead of how I ordered it. Not a big deal. I can eat it. I called simply to let them know there was a mix-up -- not demanding anything, not asking for free food. What I wasn't prepared for was being called a liar. I was told the order was made correctly and that if I wanted it fixed I had to bring everything back immediately -- including the salsas. I explained we were on a time schedule for my son's gym session. Instead of understanding, I was told my "games won't fly" there and that I was being a "Karen" looking for free food. My son was hungry and upset during the call. She heard him. We drove back anyway. I placed the plate on the counter, and once she saw it, the mistake was obvious. Only then did she offer to remake it. At that point it wasn't about the food -- it was about being accused of lying and being publicly disrespected in front of my child. Weeks later, I noticed the order was never refunded. I had to dispute the charge with American Express to get my money back. I've supported this restaurant for years. This wasn't about a wrong plate -- mistakes happen. It was about how we were treated when trying to resolve it. I can't return after being called dishonest and a beggar over a simple order issue.

The toilet tank takes fourever- no tenever to refill. We get our meals. The chili relleno was as good tasting as I have ever had. Served hot the way I like it. The refried beens are refried beans-good. They could have been served hotter. Unfortunately, the chopped steak taco was so salty and over spiced that I couldn't eat it. What a waste. It looked so good. We were given about nine tortilla chips haphazardly scattered on the serving tray. To share I guess. Oh No My wife starts complaining that her ground beef enchilada is so salty that any other ingredient flavors are drowned out. About my wife. Now this woman is the salt of the earth. She is infamous for over salting because she loves it.. She really loves salt. She adds salt and splashes soy (salt) sauce on almost every meal. She would vacation in a salt mine if she could. "Damn" I'm thinking. "That enchilada must be salty." But wait. There's more. Next she complains that the enchiladas tortilla wrapper is way too thick. Hard to cut with the plasticware. I try to calm her by saying "Maybe it is home made and other customers like it thick." I'm growing curious now Why does she have a can of Coke and a straw but no cup of ice. She always has a cup of ice for her can of Coke. I tighten my lips rather than getting off my lazy arse to get ice for her. Somehow she read my mind and she blurted -"They charge $.50 cents for ice here." Smh. Everyone these days has a problem with ice.

La Joya Taco Truck has been on my radar for years. I finally tried it for the first time last year,…read moreand since then it has become one of my go-to taco trucks in Vallejo. The food is very, very good, the prices are reasonable, and the portions you get are worth it. It's kind of hard to miss when driving by, but they also have a small sign near the street letting you know they're there. I had known about this taco truck for years but never stopped until last year, and now I wish I had gone sooner. I ordered a super burrito and a few tacos. One thing I really like is that they actually list the length of their burritos on the menu. That's a nice touch because sometimes you order a "super burrito" somewhere else and end up with something small. Here, you know exactly what you're getting. Out of all the taco trucks in Vallejo, this is easily one of my top three burrito trucks. I try not to burn myself out eating at the same place too often, so I like switching between favorites, and this is definitely one I keep coming back to. I almost always get the steak burrito. One thing I really love is the pico de gallo they use. They use red onions, which gives it a nice touch, and every time I get it, I can really taste the cilantro in the pico de gallo throughout the burrito. The steak and chicken street tacos were also really good but the burrito is always my favorite! Parking is never an issue because they share a parking lot with an auto body shop during off-hours, so there's usually plenty of space. They also have cones to help guide cars entering and exiting the lot. When your food is ready, they call your order number over the microphone/intercom system, then ask if you want red or green sauce and chips. Overall, I've always had a great experience here. If you're in Vallejo and looking for a good taco truck, I definitely recommend giving this place a try.

When you walk in, you seat yourself and a server brings you a menu. My waiter was really friendly and welcoming. He checked on me right away, asked if I knew what I wanted to order, and brought out water and chips. The customer service throughout my visit was excellent. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere with TVs all around, a full bar, and outdoor seating. I chose a corner table where I could watch one of the soccer games on TV, which made for a relaxing lunch. The complimentary chips and salsa were good. The salsa had nice flavor without being overly spicy. I ordered the steak quesadilla plate, which came with refried beans, Spanish rice, pico de gallo, sour cream, and lettuce. My food arrived in about 10-15 minutes. The best thing on the plate was the refried beans. They were easily my favorite part of the meal. They were flavorful, creamy. The Spanish rice was also tasty. The pico de gallo was served over shredded lettuce, which was fine, although I would have preferred it on the side. The sour cream came in a small cup, which wasn't my favorite, i'm not sure if it was buttery sour cream, but it just didn't taste right. The guacamole might've been my second favorite thing on the plate.!! The steak quesadilla itself was good, but it didn't quite wow me like a quesadilla usually does. It was generously filled with steak, but I wish it had more cheese. I like my quesadillas to have a perfect balance of melted cheese and meat, and this one leaned much heavier on the steak. Even so, the steak had good flavor, and I still enjoyed the meal overall. The price was reasonable too. I believe everything came to just under $20, which felt like a good value. Before I left, they gave me a piece of candy with the receipt, which was a small but thoughtful touch that I appreciated. As I was walking out, I noticed they have different daily specials posted outside. I hadn't seen them before coming in, so now I definitely have another reason to come back and try something different. Overall, I had a great first experience. The friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere, good value, and delicious refried beans made this an enjoyable visit. I'll definitely be back to check out those daily specials.
