Very questionable business practices. Bay Alarm purchased my previous alarm provider who provided…read moreservice for both our business and residential. Repeatedly we have contacted them to make changes to our system (add/remove people) and have been told that they did not get all of the information they needed to administer our account from the company that they purchased. (That sounds like a YOU problem.) Unfortunately, there solution is to send a tech out and charge ME in order to get that information so they can properly administer the account. We escalated the issue and were told that while they didn't have said information, we would have to pay a service call for the tech to get that information. Upon doing our research appears this is not an uncommon issue with questionable service call charges. We will shift our business elsewhere as they have no interest in properly servicing our account, and can't service our account to the level they service all of their other accounts. Not interested in being "nickle and dimed" when we did NOT choose for them to buy the old company. They certainly did not tell us that they couldn't properly administer the account.....while they collect their fees like clock work.

After calling a couple of other companies who were two and three weeks away from any type of installation I called Bay Alarm. Neal, the salesperson listened, and empathized. He came out to our home only one day after my call, assessed the situation and gave us a very fair deal on security that was what we were looking for, nothing more nothing less. The technicians arrived just 2 days later. Josh and Ezekiel were fantastic. They did quality work and cleaned up after themselves. We had a few minor issues and they came back out and got us all dialed in. Neal displayed excellent follow up after the sale as well. Needless to say we are super happy with our purchase and we would recommend bay alarm to anybody!
