I brought my dog here after his hind legs became paralyzed. After reading the reviews about this place, I am stunned that many other reviews say the same as I experienced. My dog went in for surgery, the surgery did not happen and the bill did not change. I was told to call with any questions when it came to learning how to express a bladder, I called and got a RUDE vet tech which told me that someone would call me back. The never called! And then a week/ 2 weeks go by...no follow up call. To top it off, in pretty sure I paid over 5 grand for a wrong diagnosis. Horrible! If I could give one person 5 stars it would be Kerri at the front desk, aside from that horrendous experience. I brought my cat in because she had a wheezing sound associated with her breathing. Our appointment was with Dr Jason Berg who was supposed to be very well versed with these issues. Not only did Dr Berg not do the CT Scan beforehand to see what the issues was (which is the reason I drove an hour to go to this hospital), he cut out a large lump in her throat without knowing what it was or how it was situated in her body. They administered Propoflo which is toxic to cats. My baby died coming out of anesthesia. The dosages and types of drugs they gave her way too much. She was alone and suffering and I never even got to say goodbye. On top of it all they charged me $1800 for this visit. I would highly recommend not using this hospital. I am 5 months pregnant and this has destroyed our family. I have asked them to wave to bill for this butchery and will keep you all posted. read more

So, where to even start with this horrible horrible place. Took our 10 year old pup there because our regular vet told us we needed a specialists to figure out what was causing his anemia. After some tests, we were told he had IMHA and he was put on some meds. For the first visit or two, Dr. Berg keeps you informed, after that you're pretty much on your own. My pup was hospitalized twice, first time for 1 night and about 2500.00 later, which I'll happily pay if my dog is being taken care of. Second hospitalization was for two nights. went to visit him on the first night and he was laying in a cage with a urine soaked pad underneath him (I should have taken him home then). The second night they made me wait in a room and took him out to me. My poor pup was filthy, wreaked of urine, and was completely disoriented. Everyone was too busy getting ready for some dinner/gala that they were all attending to care about the animals in the back I guess. All this time, not once did I get a call from Dr. Berg, who at this point had been treating my dog on a regular basis for about two months. NOT ONE CALL, even though I called and called and was promised a call back. Spoke to techs, who could only give me limited information. And they blatantly lied to me. Asked the ER doctor on my second visit about a blood test, she told me it was good, when I asked her for specifics she told me she didn't know, but they told her his number was good. When I called the next morning and asked the tech who answered the phone, she told me they never ran the test. Due to his illness, this number should have been checked, and then to lie on top of that?!?!?? Picked him up on a Saturday about a week and a half ago. By Sunday night his back right leg was swollen to three times it's size and was oozing from the hole where they had placed the IV. I called and spoke to a tech, she told me to put warm compresses on it and we'll see how he's doing in the morning. My dog is diabetic, you'd think an infection, that you caused, would be of more concern. That following day, Monday, we took him back because the infection was bad, literally oozing like a faucet all over the floor. When we got there, they took him in the back gave him an injection, and sent us home with antibiotics. They never even cleaned his leg. I will give it to Dr. Dubille, she called us the next day to see how he was doing, that was the only call we got. Since then, we took him to a local vet, who cleaned his leg, and we are still treating it with different antibiotics, but doing much better. Within minutes of examining my dog, this vet noticed something going on with his breathing. I told him that I had expressed concern about his breathing to Dr. Berg and was told that it was due to his extreme bloating from the prednisone he was on. The vet thought that was ridiculous, and after doing an xray, we were told that my poor baby has a mass in his chest that is pushing on his lung. So with all your state of the art equipment, not one person noticed this in my dog, but a small town vet without all the fancy equipment figured it out within 10 minutes of examining my dog. Maybe because he wasn't concerned about raping us for every dollar he could get out of us. And check your bill, they will double bill and over charge you. they take complete advantage that you are in a vulnerable state of mind and probably will pay anything to get your baby well again, but check your bill!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR BABIES HERE, NOT IF YOU REALLY LOVE THEM!!! I FEEL NOTHING BUT GUILT FOR PUTTING MY PUP IN THEIR CARE, WHILE THEY NEGLECTED HIM!!!! PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!!!!! read more

I took my 12 week old English bulldog here to have a hearing test as we suspected she was deaf. The facility itself is very impressive. They normally do the test under anesthesia but I was not aware of that and she had not been fasting. They successfully performed the test and it confirmed she was in fact 100% deaf. All of the staff was extremely compassionate and very down to earth. I was obviously upset and they were very comforting and gave advice on care of a deaf puppy. The price of the test was also reasonable in my opinion. My baby girl is 2 now but I would definitely bring her back here if she ever needed a specialist again. read more

I brought my dog in for surgery on her knee. There has been no improvement in the last month and she is just as bad as before surgery. She is limping and sore after the mildest activity and no improvement on the stairs. When she got an infection from their staple removal, she spiked a 105 fever. When I called to bring her in, I was extremely clear with the receptionist about my questions when I called about the cost of the visit. I asked if the visit was covered by the price I already paid, around $6,000. I clearly asked if I had to pay for anything other than any prescriptions. The woman said no. I believe her name was Kathy. When I came in for the visit, I was charged a lot more. Terrible customer service - arguing with crying customer when even if she THOUGHT she was right (which she wasn't), she could have easily discussed it with her boss afterwards instead of arguing with me. I am so sad, angry, and disappointed with the entire experience - outcome, cost, customer service, & the pain my poor Charlie went through for no apparent relief. The only reason I'm even giving one star is because she didn't die during surgery. I even gave them one more chance to speak to me before I posted this review. I can only speak for the ophthalmologist, Dr Tofflemire, and his vet techs. I see a lot of poor reviews regarding other doctors and I don't want Dr Tofflemire or his team to be associated with them. He and the techs were great with my dog and treating her eye problem. They were attentive to my calls and emails when I had questions or concerns. My wait time wasn't long and the staff was courteous. read more

Having a free first consult is nice. We've gotten good medical care for our dog and the staff seems very knowledgeable. The vet was up front about potential costs, which was nice. The administrative staff is downright bad. At least the vet staff apologized multiple times for administrative screw-ups. However, follow-up communication even with the vet staff isn't good. It's pretty frustrating. I don't know if they're too busy or if we're slipping through the cracks, but we're not happy about it right now. In the future if we need specialized care for a different issue, we'll consider other options. If the admin staff and overall communication issues get sorted out, I'd be very happy with them. read more

**Warning** I would read this reviews carefully before visiting this animal hospital. They administered an over does injection which in reaction killed my cat. I was in shock after her death but a few days later when I pulled my self together and asked for my test results and why they used certain methods, no one would respond to me. The administrative portion of this place is horrible! First off, I get the estimate...put down a deposit, then I come to see they are charging more then the estimate. I have questions on charges that I have now put in 3 calls in the last 24 hours with no response yet. I went to visit my dog, waiting over an hour...complained. They stuck me in a room...waited some more. Then a tech brought her in, I asked for some food to see if she would eat...he said sure, ill bring it right in, well...he never came back. Then yesterday, I go to pick her up after 3 days at 3800.00 later I wait 1.5 hours to get her...then they lose my dogs bed. They charged me for 12 hours yesterday, they should have charged me for 4 based on the 24 hour time frame I left her on Thursday. My dog also came back dirty and smelly, crap on her tail...I need to find another ER place because this place doesn't care about anything but money. They make you wait for everything!! I thought when Dr. Berg left the place in Yonkers he was going to make this better but its not...it's the same. So I spent 3800.00 and I am still waiting for that call to go over my bill. Nice place, very sweet staff. Guardian came highly recommended from nearly everyone in the area. We needed a competent vet to look over our kitten who has been very sick and we already lost his sibling this week to the same illness. Vet we got said she would do bloodwork and give him fluids to hydrate him as he hasn't been eating or drinking for a couple days and we have been force feeding him with a syringe. 3.5 hours later told us he was done and we could pay. Paid the $500, then she told me she hadn't even taken his blood or given him fluids yet and went into a room with another patient. He sat there for 3.5 hours without even being given fluids to help him, which was the main reason I wanted him seen. After that I just wanted to take him home since I knew he would be stressed and left the hospital with nothing done for the kitten. Rest of the staff was awesome and it's a beautiful hospital. They did a full refund even for the exam fee which was very nice. Though the receipts don't even have any of the information about his weight, temperature, or any of his vitals she said she did, so there is no record of if she even did that. I've never been sent home from a vet with only documents for what services we paid for and no information written on the animal at all... and the services documented were not even done. The vet's name was also not documented anywhere From what I know the name of the vet was Dr Acosta. I was excited since hearing good things, but it was not a good experience for us. My primary vet recommended I bring my beloved Bernese Mtn dog in to have a CT scan done as a mass was discovered in a chest X-ray. She saw Dr. Berg, who indicated it's likely to be cancer. We were charged $3,100 for the procedure. A coordinator called back 2 days later to let us know the results were inconclusive. She wasn't able to answer a number of questions so we asked to speak with the doctor. We left 4 messages - and after 10 days my primary vet had to call to finally understand the findings and subsequent recommendation. Guardian sent me a quote ranging between $8,200-$11,000 and the coordinator had no idea what it was for. Needless to say, I found the follow up care to be terrible. Never received a return phone call from the doctor. Staff seemed uncaring. I am now seeing a specialist at Newtown Vet Services and gave the feedback to my primary vet who is now aware of what I experienced. read more

Our little dachshund recently lost the use of his back legs. This is a weakness in this breed and we have had many doxies, including one that we kept very happy for many years in his little cart. But our dog is only 7 years old and practically an assistance dog for my 90-year old mother, so I brought him in to Guardian on an emergency basis to see what could be done. Dr. Berg, founder and owner and neurologist specialist, was brought in on a Saturday and explained our options. We opted to try steroids and, when his condition did not improve, came in to see Dr. Gibson neurologist to discuss next steps. We finally decided to do an MRI which led to the surgery. Yes, it was pricey but I disagree with some other reviews, every cost was laid out for us up front in estimates each step of the way. 4 days after the successful surgery, the dog developed pneumonia and again Guardian came through on an emergency basis and pulled him through. Yes, it's expensive but you are paying for dedicated specialists who have had years of education and training just like people specialists. Neurologists, ophthamologists, oncologists, anesthesiologists. You are paying for 24/7 hands-on care from vets and professional assistants, not just someone who cleans the cages. At Guardian, every person you meet from the reception desk to the triage technician to all the doctors, specialists and assistants treat your pet with care and concern and as a unique case with its own special needs. Our little guy has almost 100% chance of regaining his walking and we are thrilled with the outcome of the surgery and pneumonia treatment. My 11-year old lab has seen three specialists at Guardian over the 6 months - Dr. Hart (orthopedics), Dr. Berg (oncology), and Dr. Gibson (neurology). I have been consistently impressed with the expertise of the doctors and technicians there. They do extremely thorough exams and spend a lot of time with us, making sure I understand my options clearly and don't feel pressured into something I'm not comfortable with. I love that they get down on the floor with my dog, rather than putting him on an uncomfortable exam table. It's comforting to see the vet laying on the floor with your large animal, bringing themselves to the dog instead of the dog to them. The front desk and billing staff stay amazingly calm, even under a lot of stress and pressure. This helps to create a safe, comforting environment for owners and animals. Overall, their communication is excellent. The specialist calls my primary vet almost immediately to make sure they are fully briefed on the case and any necessary follow-up. A technician calls me a few days after each appointment to check on my dog. They are also reasonably priced and consultations are free. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that the wait time can be very long - 30 minutes to over an hour after scheduled appointment. I understand this is because it's an emergency center, so just make sure you have your schedule cleared for the day of your appointment. I am definitely impressed with both the medicine and patient care practiced at Guardian. Thank you! read more

We took our 12 year old dog there who was having problems walking and seeing and we wanted to know why. We arrived at 9 AM. The emergency doc we met with was wonderful, kind and caring. She suggested that we leave him get to have MRI and we agreed. We were told that they would fit him in and would call to give the results by 5 PM. When we had not heard anything by 5 we called them. They said that they were too busy with other pets that had appointments and wanted to keep him overnight in a crate, where had been for the last 8 hrs. and they would get to him in the morning. This was totally unacceptable and said that we would pick him up immediately. They charged us an enormous amount of money for doing little, refused to give us the meds that had been prescribed by one of the vets - we were told that because he did not have the MRI, we couldn't get the meds. When we checked the bill we found we had been charged for the meds. They then told us it would be at least an hour before we could get our dog back. Thankfully, someone was able to go into the crate area and get our dog so that we could leave. The staff was unprofessional and down right rude. We would never go back there. read more

Future patient parents, let me start with I am NOT an employee, related to an employee, nor have I been paid or compensated in any shape or form for this review. Let me also state that I have read all the reviews here as well and most are about "sticker shock" on a fee quote. I am the pet parent of an almost 7 year old Great Dane. My fur baby was injured while being boarded in an unaffiliated facility. He was taken to another emergency hospital by the facility, where they proceeded to butcher my dog while attempting to "repair" his injury. We came home from our trip and had our 180 pound Great Dane transported by a pet ambulance from lower Westchester to Brewster on the recommendation of not only our primary vet, but by multiple rescues, by other pet parents and by an animal physical therapist. From the very moment we arrived, we received incredible service for the reason we were there - to treat, care for and help our dog. We were not there for pity, we were not there to be treated like snowflakes, I'm a grown adult and my number one focus was to make sure my dog had the best possible care. From Dr. Burg, Dr. Runge, Dr. Ateca, Dr. Acosta, and many other critical care and specialty doctors - they never lost sight of the goal- give my dog the best chance of survival and a complete recovery. He faced many secondary challenges along his 3 week stay. From up to date technology and techniques that were not offered elsewhere, to conferences between themselves to make sure that they left no stone or treatment on the table - absolutely amazing. We almost lost him if not for their dedication and care. The medical staff, patient advocates, nurses, techs - without them I would not have survived 3 weeks, traveling 1 hour each way, every single day and having had the opportunity to visit with my dog every day. They fell in love with him, deeply cared about his well being, treating him with the utmost care. Each one played a part in his daily recovery. I'm forever grateful for their genuine and kind nature and expert care. I know them all by name and feel we have an extended family. The operational staff - for what they deal with in an emergency setting - these women and men could not be more accommodating and understanding. They were welcoming while following all protocols- Covid included. They have a job to do and kudos to each and everyone. Now if you are going to come on here and complain about the fees, the fact that you were not "patted on the head " like a good dog or felt there was a lack of bedside manner - that's not a reason to leave a poor review. Take a step back and appreciate the truth about your pet's condition. Specialty care is expensive, it is to be respected. In comparison to other specialty centers (real ones), Guardian is right in line. If you are expecting the top Neuro/Surgeon/ Critical Care Dr, etc to call you back in 10 minutes - it's not happening - get passed that expectation- they are helping other family pets in various procedures ALL DAY AND NIGHT. You will get a call back - be patient. What the worst you have to do - make a second call as a gentle reminder ? There are no words to fully express the gratitude in our hearts for what the entire staff of Guardian has done for our family pet and for us! My vet recommended Dr. Tofflemire as my cocker spaniel developed an ulcer in his one eye that was not healing. It was a good time too to find out how bad his vision might be as cataracts had been developing over the years which is common in cockers. We brought our boy on a Sunday - amazingly they had appointments available on a Sunday. I was so worried that my boy's eye might not be healed or he may even lose it, but Dr. Tofflemire told us that he wanted to treat the eye with a simple procedure that would probably take about an hour and he could do it right then and there. He also said that our boy had about 45% of his vision which made us happy to know this. So we left our boy in his care, came back in an hour and took him home. Within a few days he was much better. By the time he went back for his follow up appointment a week later we were told he was all healed! I am just so glad I went there as they took great care of my dog. They were very professional, the office is very clean, new and is a very large facility. The next time I need a specialist for my boy I will be sure to bring him here. read more

Took my dog there for in emergency but chose place having been advised that Dr Berg was there and would oversee care. I knew she was in renal failure and advised the attending vet who came out to parking lot to talk to me. That was a Friday and she was never seen by any specialist as of Sunday. I was advised this by two different attending vets after calling to get status. In fact on Sunday I was told no specialist was there all weekend and the soonest one could see her was monday. I took her out of there, was required to pay the balance they said was due. When it was more than I thought I had agreed to on estimate, I requested a copy before paying. They said it was not available at that time but promised to email it to me that afternoon. I had to pay to get my dog, who was in very bad shape That was over a month ago. No email. I believe this us unethical at the least. The total was $5000. Had I been informed she would not see any specialist the whole weekend, I would have admitted her to her own vet who has a hospital but is no a specialist. And tried to have her seen by a specialist on monday. I was deceived and am extremely disappointed. I hAve emailed dr Berg and have received no response. Buyer beware read more

8/2/20: my sweet 14yrold lab teddy passed on 4/29: they were real nice and honest - he was cremated n they told me it would take 4-6 wks to get ashes back so my daughter who flew in from LA went home 5 days later . After 6 wks of not hearing from them I called n they never said sorry for ur loss. They told me the ashes were ready 5 days after he passed n that someone called me. NO ONE CALLED ME! My daughter and I could have spread the ashes together but she went home ! I live an hour away since that time so I asked if they would ship it to me for free n they said it would be $35. I went to pick it up , was waiting outside in my white car n the woman walked over to the wrong white car , realized it and kept talking to the driver while I sat there waiting for my dogs remains ! They need some serious lessons : if they say sorry for ur loss , which the woman did say , I bet that's because I told them days ago that they should !!!!! read more

My dog died weeks ago there with no explanation given. I had called many times to speak with the chief of staff who promised me a call back. This has been a terrible time for us. We have been looking for an answer and call after call to the owner or manager vet, we are ignored. He was our beloved pet and we are devastated and they wanted payment and washed their hands. We leave countless messages and it seems like it's just not important anymore because they can't make anymore money from us. I brought my dog in because he got attacked by an animal. They brought him in the back and after 5.5 hours I spoke to the eye specialist. He and his tech were great but I was very dissatisfied with the rest. I never got to speak to the doctor that took care of him and they never noticed his missing teeth until I pointed it out. He was still bleeding when I got home with him. I took him the next day to my normal vet. They did a thorough exam and immediately found a 2 inch wide and 1 inch deep cut and gave him 7 staples. The way they talk to you is just so careless and when you talk back they don't even fucking listen to you. The attitude that I've gotten on the phone from doctors from this place is absolutely ridiculous I'm not a veterinarian I'm not a doctor, but my dog was attacked and he was messed up pretty bad and obviously I'm going to call when I start to worry just to ask a simple question but the responses that you get from these people they're just so careless it's like you're bothering them and that's their job. Not happy with this place at all. I was referred here by a friend telling me Dr Berg does not bs at all well the big problem is he doesn't communicate at all. He must think he is better than everyone else that is his downfall and from what I have been told that's his MO. Brought my pet in for breathing problems back on 3/29 they put her in oxygen for 3 days kept on asking what's going on. Every time I ask what's going on I get a different answer or no answer at all the right hand has no idea what the left hand is doing. The person they set up to do the ECO on my pet does the test on Friday waiting for the results nobody has any answer. It turns out the person goes away for the weekend and never sends over the results but I am getting billed like crazy. I kept on calling and all they say is someone will call you back that never happens because they never call. The front desk plays pass interference he's here but he's not here the charges were ridiculous!!!!!!!!! That was one time. Then I had an emergency last month with the same pet my vet called DR Berg told him to send me there I get there they see my pet tell me she has to stay over again. They have to pop her leg back into the hip than strap her leg to her side which they do but it comes back out they do it again before I leave I have to leave a deposit of 4800.00. The idea is the orth doctor will look at her tomorrow. Well tomorrow comes no one has a answer what's going on this goes on all day doctors no nothing what a bunch of Bull ask if I can speak to the doctor he is unavailable this goes on all day they say he never saw my pet this guy Another one thinks he's better than everyone else. I call and say I am pulling my pet out of your place discharge her. Be there at 8 to pick her up get there she's not ready till 9:30 unbelievable toooo many cooks in the kitchen no one knows what they are doing!!!!! I get the discharge paper turns out he looked at her in the morning no one knows what they are talking about. Pulled her out took her to the VCA in Bedford hills very nice establishment spoke to the doctors and surgeon found out more in 20 minutes then in 2 days at the other place she had surgery and everything went well.They never called me and that was a month ago. Do yourself a favor never go to this place I will never go back there they only care about making a lot of money on overcharging. Our cat had a urinary obstruction and we went to Guardian Veterinary Specialists, LLC. This was a big mistake and we were treated badly. First, the place is expensive (they quoted $6000 for perineal urethrostomy, while the Scarsdale Animal Hospital quoted $3000). Second, they charge by an hour and they attempted to charge us for 2.5 days even though our cat spent little less than 2 days. Third, Dr Allison Sarno refused to talk to us about recovery and necessary care of the cat after the discharge from the hospital, as she said over the phone, the reason was because she wanted our cat to spend an extra day (this would have cost an extra 1K or so). Forth, they did not even cut our cat's claws. In short, Guardian Veterinary Specialists did not seem to care about our cat and us, but they seem to care only about making money. By the way, our cat recovered well after he had an antibiotics treatment at the Scarsdale Animal Hospital, which seems to be a much better (and cheaper) place. read more

Upon arrival this place looks amazing! State of the art appearing facility. However, once your appointment starts it's downhill from there. All the techs and doctors will smile and sound super knowledgeable. They will tell you the visit is one cost and by the time you get to the check out the bill will double without your consent, so bring your large checkbook or don't go. The doctor we met with, Dr Berg, did extra testing on our cat and told us that she had cancer but it was only in her spleen. He was super optimistic that if they just removed her spleen she'd have years to live. And they quoted us just under 5k. Super high bill that we weren't expecting. So we shopped around and went to another animal hospital. By the time we got that appointment, a week later, the same testing was read and we were told we were lied to! Her cancer was throughout her whole body!! This was from Guardian's own testing. So, they wanted 5k to do surgery when my cat would have died if not in surgery than just days after. I honestly don't know how any of these people can go to sleep at night knowing they are scamming people and playing on their emotions to open their wallets. Was very disappointed in the customer service received at this facility. Had to take a seriously ill dog there for emergency treatment. An overnight stay and blood tests. The outcome of the dog was not good but the blood test was supposed to determine what the illness was. Dr. Berg spoke to me on the phone & went over the possibilities. One was lymphoma and the aspiration of the spleen. Blood work done which was supposed to be back mid-late week. Picked up a extremely ill dog, no vet meeting, just directions on the bill. Waited, waited, waited for a call or at least a follow up...none. Called several times, on hold 15-30 minutes. Results came back and then advised needed another blood test to actually determine if lymphoma so another week lost. If the "professionals" knew that this 2nd blood test was needed why not order in the first place? So after paying $2383. have no idea what was wrong with the dog. Never rec'd a call, no follow up or anything. Total broken customer service process. The vets may be excellent there but the compassion is lacking. I was very disappointed. It was very apparent that as a new facility, they have some kinks to work out. It was the 4th of July and the power went out 2x and we were told that it would take 1 1/2 hours each time it came back on to reboot the machines. We brought our dog in for severe dehydration and they insisted he would need to be put on fluids no matter what, yet they waited 4 1/2 hours to start administering fluids. Upon leaving, the doctor had not finished the discharge paperwork and said he would email it to us. The next morning, I had to call and follow-up because the email still had not been sent. I was sent home with fluids and needles to administer to my dog and while I had previous experience doing so, I asked for a refresher. I was told that since they had to bring my dog to the back to give him medication, they would just do it back there and I was not allowed to go with them! I was told not to give my dog food for 24 hours, but was sent home with pills and no instructions for how to administer. I was also sent home with the wrong amount of pills. My primary vet called a few days later to request that our dogs records be sent to her and they STILL did not have them ready. Very unorganized, lacking in the details and need to get it together. While the facility is clean and new, the cost we paid definitely reflected the price of a new facility, not the adequate service. We have been VERY honest with friends, neighbors and family about our experience and will continue to do so. read more

I brought in my 13 year old Australian Shepherd who was suffering from idiopathic vestibular disease. Her vet recommended that we see a neurologist to confirm this diagnosis. Guardian did not have a Neuro appointment available, but the scheduler suggested that we come in as an emergency, and if the ER doc thought a Neuro consult was needed, their Neuroradiologist would be in. This was great because a blizzard was forecast for the next day, and we were due to travel the day after. After a short wait; maybe an hour? The neurologist was able to see Reba. He then spent a long time (at least 30 minutes) with me explaining his thoughts and recommendations. The best part is that they have a policy where the first consultation is free and I only had to pay for the drugs he prescribed. It was the first time that a Vetenarian visit ended up costing less than I expected going in. The staff were very friendly, the facility is brand new, and the doctors are expert and experienced. Would not recommend this place at all. Do yourself a favor and stay far away. I brought my cat there and told them what was going on with her, that up until a couple of days ago she was fine.. Now she wasn't eating, she was dehydrated and her gums were pale...The doctor on duty said we should run blood tests and they were going to keep her in the back while they observed her.. Well after 5 hours of waiting there they finally had the blood results and the doctor said her blood count was very high, she didn't know why but wanted to admit her and run tests and gave me an estimate of about 3,000.00... I told them absolutely not, just hydrate her and let me take her home so I can take her to my own vet...Which mind you any vet should have seen she was dehydrated and said she needed fluids. The next day I brought her to my own personal vet and told him the same thing I told them, and upon a five minute examination found a large mass inside her stomach the size of an orange.. If this so called vet would have taken the time to examine my cat in the 5 hours we were there she would have felt a large mass in her stomach... but instead charged me 500.00 to run some tests and give fluids and wanted me to admit her and charge me another 3,000.00 to run tests and she never ever ever even took the time to examine my poor cat... This place is horrible.. All they want is your money.. Then when I called to speak to the office manager Tom he said he wanted my vet's number to call him and find out what he found and get to the bottom of this.. Well guess what, I guess he didn't like what he heard because he never had the decency to call me back even after I made numerous attempts to call him and left messages... Do yourself a favor stay far away... its just a business to them, no compassion, no empathy... read more
