    Pescado taco

Near to Hermosa Pier of course parking is difficult. You order in the counter and they bring to your table. The menu on the wall only list then names of dishes, no ingredients, no price so you really don't know what you're getting. Friendly service and clean place. Tacos are ok but too small

Chile relleno taco and Chuleta Breakfast Taco... both were really good!

We need more tacos places here! So glad Guisados opened one here. The tacos are solid and its steps from the beach. Tacos are cheap and a good size. My favorite is the chile relleno taco and burrito. Please don't get rid of it. There's a tiny parking lot and I've been able to find parking there or metered street parking.

I love guisados! They are consistent across their locations with the flavor and quality of items they serve. My only complaint would be that the aguas frescas are a bit too sweet, but the food is a 10/10. The cochinita pibil is a popular item and I usually recommend the sampler for new customers. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This location is also great because it had parking even though it is pretty close to the beach ambience and service was fast and quality[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I've enjoyed all the locations of Guisados that I've visited. They provide consistently fresh and yummy food, and of course their tacos are exceptional. They have several vegetarian options which is great for me! There is metered street parking and a pay lot nearby. Easily walk a few steps to enjoy the beach.

after enjoying the tacos the other day from a different location, we made the stop here a little closer to home. Never knew this location existed of all times we've passed by it. It's camouflage to the parking lot before the pier. Small parking lot and weird entry to it. The location wasn't as busy as the last so I was skeptical. We ordered pretty much the same thing, fish tacos and bistek en salsa Roja. They were good! I think we had a little more beans per taco and the tortillas were not as good. I mean still enjoyable. The customer service was great and the workers there were very attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat outside in the nice sun and overall I'd say it's still worth visiting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This place is wonderful and the tacos melt in your mouth. Everything was flavorful and greed inspiring, in a good way everything in moderation . The staff were helpful and patient. The restaurant is located at the entrance of the Hermosa Beach pier, so there's tons of metered parking. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Just steps from the sandy Shores of the Pacific.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is a soo California.

Spicy chick, and Steak with beans on tortilla. ~$11 Very good! Tastes quality, made in house, quick service, [[HIGHLIGHT]]plenty of seating indoors[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Highly recommend.

The tacos are so good it should be illegal! These tacos have no right to hijack my palate like this! I came in ordered 3 and literally swallowed them only to order 2 more!! The steak, pollo and pescado was off the chains. I had to try to the Nopales as well! Everything was excellent!! I also recommending their cafe horchata. Thank god for places like Guisados! They just get it!!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great chill vibe and friendly kitchen staff too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Just amazing across the board!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This location is fun cause you are near the beach.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their food is absolutely delicious and always hits the spot. I always go for their Sampler and their ceviche tostada and Agua de melon it's not too sweet and refreshing. The Young girl at the front was very sweet and loved the vibe of the cooks I always like to see people who love their job. Their parking lot is very small maybe like 6 cars fit there but there is more parking across from the restaurant as well. In the mood for tacos with handmade tortillas and grab a cold beer come here!

    Monica C.

I got the sampler and had a beer while I waited. All the tacos were really good. I loved being able try a bit of everything. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute casual interior.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was friendly but a little slow and felt a bit disorganized. Despite that I would definitely eat here again.

    Fish taco and cheese tamale
    Lauretta N.

Arrived at the restaurant around 7:15. The person taking orders must have been having a bad day because she wasn't friendly or hospitable. Took our order and the delivered food made up for the bad service. Salsa verde taco, fish taco, mushroom taco plus quesadilla and cheese tamale. The masa on the tamale was heavenly. Soft, moist and delicious. Tacos were a little spicy but so very tasty. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Noticed that staff were taking in napkins from patio before 8 so we thought they were closing. The hours posted on the door said 9 was closing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'll give the place another chance because the food was so good.

I thought the tacos were fine. We're in LA so there's a taco spot every 15 feet lol. I've had better but these weren't awful. Came here bc I wanted to try the taco sampler and it was a fine enough experience. Of the 6 I would only need to eat 2 again (chicken mole poblano and pork cochinita pibil). The others were okay. I have no idea why anyone would ever order the chicharron. That was such an interesting texture I'd never need to eat again!! Haha But the staff was lovely, restaurant was very clean and they have a mini parking lot which is amazing for the area. Had a bite of my sisters shrimp taco and it was nice. Was sorely disappointed they don't sell chips. That's like selling burgers but no fries!! Overall not a place I'd seek out again but also wouldn't protest if someone wanted to go here.

A tamale and two of their delicious tacos!
    Karen I.

We just loved this Hermosa Beach location of the very popular Guisados chain of taco-focused restaurants. They had a wide variety of tacos and tamales available and the servers were excellent at recommending which ones to try based on taste and spice level. The servers also brought out the food quickly. This place is the perfect compliment to a trip to Hermosa Beach, where beach culture reigns supreme. After a walk by the beach or some time in the ocean, these bites are exactly what I want. The restaurant has a small parking lot which quickly fills up when it's busy so you may want to be prepared to grab metered street parking in the area.

This is hands down my favorite place to bring out-of-town friends when I want them to experience legit birria tacos. It never disappoints. The vibe is welcoming from the moment you walk in--the staff are friendly and greet you right at the entrance, which always sets the tone for a great visit. Before her food was ready, she received an emergency call and had to leave immediately. That's the reality of being a first responder--when a call comes in, you leave immediately, no time to wait for your meal. Before leaving, she politely asked the cashier to cancel the order and refund her card. Instead of showing understanding or offering assistance, the cashier was dismissive and unhelpful. After completing the call, my daughter contacted the restaurant, apologized for the inconvenience, and again requested a refund. She was initially told that the receipt had been thrown away. Later, the receipt was apparently found, but she was then informed that if she wanted a refund--or even the food she had paid for--she would have to return to the location in person. The problem is that she lives more than an hour away and was only in the area because she was working. I called the following day in an attempt to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, I was met with the same attitude. The employee refused to provide her name, refused to provide a manager's name, and refused to provide any contact information for someone who could address the complaint. To be clear, this is not about the cost of a meal. Had the employee been courteous, professional, or even remotely helpful, we likely would have let the matter go. Emergencies happen. Schedules change. We understand that. What prompted this review was not the lost food or the refund itself--it was the employee's rude attitude, lack of professionalism, and complete unwillingness to help resolve a simple customer service issue. I will also acknowledge that by the end of my phone call, I became frustrated and was not as polite as I should have been. I regret that. However, that frustration came only after repeated attempts to handle the situation respectfully and being met with rudeness and resistance at every turn. A business can recover from a mistake. What it cannot afford is employees who treat customers with contempt and then refuse to provide any way to contact management when a legitimate concern is raised. Management should be aware that this employee's behavior reflects poorly on the entire business. If this is how customers are treated when they encounter an unexpected emergency, then potential customers deserve to know before choosing to spend their money here.

Quiet for a Saturday night inside sit down at 8pm, but still plenty of to-go orders, and I'll guess they were busier earlier for dinner. Lucky for us! We were greeted warmly and offered a cute table with a view out to PCH. The decor is cozy and comfortable with pretty flower murals along the walls and framing doorways. Staff was very attentive and friendly and my eyes were MUCH bigger than my tummy! I went with the grilled white fish, rice and beans plate, but added a beef tamale from the appetizer menu. Hubs selected a beef quesadilla as his main. They have a good selection of beers and beverages, but when I saw a margarita on the menu I was curious and asked if they really had margaritas. 'Yes. Would you like one'? No need to ask me twice! Unfortunately, I think, to accommodate their beer & wine license, the marg was made with some sort of white wine and maaaaybe margarita mix from LaPaz. I didn't get a hint of tequila at all. Oh well, cerveza next time! Hubs' quesadilla was large and the steak juicy, he was very happy. My grilled fish was delicious and the tamale was perfecto! Lots of generous, well seasoned beef, not too thick of a mesa. We also liked the way they served "chips" and fresh salsa. The whole, fried corn tortilla in the basket! No way someone can complain 'these chips were all crumbs!' when served this way. Delicious! We would cheerfully return to Rosa's again and hope this great family owned & operated, since 1973, business gets lots of love from local - and visiting! - patrons. Cheers! "CC"
