Well hellllo New York style pizza in the middle of downtown Dahlonega! Three of us split a pepperoni pizza for $16 and it was a perfect amount. The pizza was hot and fresh. The service wasn't bad nor good- it was typical college town meh. They have comfortable booths and outside dining if you bring your furbaby. I'd eat here again because the pizza is just that good.

a great place to visit. We sat at the bar and the bartender was awesome. He poured us some drinks giy us our order and made for an awesome visit. We will definitely be back. The hostess was so nice and got us seated. The prices were well worth the amount if pizza we got. The Margherita my daughter ordered was " really good ". All in all we will be back and definitely recommend stopping by to anyone that's on the square

The kitchen sink pizza was pretty good, all other pizzas that we ordered were decent but were incredibly burnt on the bottom... Service was great though.

We had a reservation for dinner on 12/20 at 6:30 pm. Knowing it was the holiday season and that Dahlonega is a popular destination, we intentionally made a reservation so our family could enjoy a relaxed dinner together during our visit. Unfortunately, the experience fell short in several ways. Cons: Despite having a reservation, we waited an excessive amount of time to be seated. Once seated, our table was visibly dirty. When a server finally came by, bread was delivered without plates, utensils, or napkins, which required an additional long wait. Service throughout the meal was extremely slow. We watched several other parties arrive, dine, and leave while we were still waiting. The chicken piccata was not prepared correctly and tasted more like a sour Alfredo-style sauce. The steak was chewy and not cooked as ordered. Pros: We received a small complimentary cannoli for a birthday, which was appreciated. The ambiance was festive and nice for the holidays. Had we known about the level of service and food quality ahead of time, we would have chosen to dine elsewhere during our visit. It's disappointing to say, but based on this experience, I would not retur

The Cumming location is great, but the Dahlonega location needs some support in the food. The ambience and service is always great, that's not the issue . The issue is in the food and I think the quality of meat, quality of sauce, and especially the quality in the calamari needs to be improved . Sadly it seems I'll have to wait another 3 years before I try this place again.

The atmosphere inside doesn't remind me of an upscale winery, tables were cramped and tons of TVs were on showing sports. Food was good though!! The calamari was delicious and I loved the side sauces it came with. The mozzarella delight is amazing for mozzarella stick lovers because of the amount of cheese and perfect breading with sea salt on top. The vodka sauce pizza was okay, the prosciutto made it pretty salty but I really liked the pesto drizzled on top. The pappardelle was also good. The apple crisp skillet was mid. Wish the apples were cut up into smaller, easier to eat pieces. Our server forgot we moved inside and we saw our food sitting at the table outside and had to bring it in ourselves. Overall: pretty location and good food, service and interior aren't up to par if you're looking for a classy, high-end dinner experience I would pick somewhere else.

We didn't realize how grandiose the property was as we drove down a winding path throughout the estate to get to the restaurant. The restaurant was so beautiful. The front area has a gift shop filled with amazing smelling candles featured in their repurposed wine bottles and great sugar scrubs that'll leave your hands as smooth as a baby - they let you sample it in the bathroom. We were escorted to our table that overlooked the patio of the casual restaurant below, the vast vineyard and pond. I couldn't stop looking out there. Overall, our food was delicious but our waiter was super slow. He was nice but quite odd to us and disappeared for several long moments at a time. The dining room was mostly occupied but not entirely packed. I had the Amalfi dream, Greek salad and the shrimp scampi. All was great. The almafi dream was sweet but not too much, it was smooth. The shrimp scampi was so flavorful and cooked well. The Greek salad was such a fresh and flavorful start to our meal. We were celebrating my partner's new job, so I requested for a celebratory dessert for him. It took a while to come out and when it finally did, the ice cream was melted to the point where it looked more like milk floating atop as if it was sitting there for a while until it was served to us. They didn't even say anything or make it special. It was just silently placed on the table - QUITE UNDERWHELMING. It was still very delicious regardless but that diminished the presentation and joy of the moment. Since the food and beverage were quite pleasing along with the ambience, I'd love to come again but to have a more efficient and attentive waiter who wouldn't drag out our dinner for 2+ hours. I'd expect more attentive and focused service at such a nice establishment.

The waitress had an attitude and did not make any good recommendations. Anything we wanted to ask about on the menu, she would deter us from it. I noticed that her attitude got worse after the manager (or maybe he was the owner) checked on us. He was super nice, but she acted like we were bothering her from the minute we got seated. Can't remember her name but she was short and had curly hair. Anyhow, as far as the food goes - like I said the oysters were excellent. The pasta dishes we ordered were not. Shrimp carbonara was OK, pork belly just wasn't crispy as it stated on the menu. But the dish we really had an issue with was the Thai Coconut Noodles...the sauce was sooo sweet, it wasn't Thai coconut, and whoever made this never tasted Thai food in their life before. I couldn't eat the pasta at all and only ate the protein I added on top. The waitress noticed I didn't eat my food, but didn't care and just gave me a confused look as she took my plate away. I didn't even want to bother with her. Anyway, I probably would only come back for maybe appetizers if I had to and wouldn't order anything too creative on the menu - KEEP IT BASIC at this spot!

He was busy even though the restaurant wasn't full. Poor guy. My hubby ordered the muffaletta and wasn't impressed. He ate it though. He loved his Abita root beer. I decided to order from the side menu and I'm so happy I did. The andouille sausage was grilled and tasty. The maque choux was amazing. Think Mexican corn with a Louisiana twist. Perfection!! The loaded grits were also wonderful- chocked full of gouda, bacon, and green onions. Delicious! The gumbo was thick like a stew. The flavor was smoky and sublime. My only beef is instead of all gumbo, the cup was filled mostly with rice... topped with gumbo. Overall we enjoyed our dinner. However, due to the pace of things, the underwhelming sandwich and perception of getting shorted on the chicken and gumbo. First before you go check the health score. They had scored in the 60s and 70s and were hit for not keeping food at the right temps and had mentioned it was timing if the health inspection for someone was coming out the next day to resolve. Sounds good and sounds like they knew about it. They got heath checked again a month later and well the same issue on food temps was still an issue. The service is not always great. We have been and walked out after 15 mins of being ignored and it was not super busy. Then on other times the service was slow, had to ask for refills and if you get appetizers and share plates please note they won't clear the table till you leave so yes you can sit there with your dirty plates and look at them and your empty glass that you want more drink in. I have mentioned it to the owner and he said while we do have young kids working here. That's an excuse and a training along with management issue. I worked as a server at the same age and knew what the restaurant standards were. Onto the food. It's Italian but in reality it is pizza and sandwiches. The pizza dough is thick and since I have been to Italy it is nothing like Italy. I've been to New York, Chicago and Detroit and it's none of those styles either. It's thick dough that I have had not cooked all the way through. Also you pay per topping and I will say the price for the amount of toppings is way off and not worth it. The sandwich is decent. I think the bread is made there so plus on that. They use boars head so basically it's similar to any other local sandwich shop. We did have dessert. I think they may make the cakes there but we had cannolis and the shells came out of a box and not sure about the crème since it was already in a pipping bag. Overall this place is meh. It probably stays in business because near the square there are not a lot of choices so people get pizza and they deliver when others don't go that far. So that's probably their bread and butter. Those looking for a good Italian dinner are just not going to Also when you go there is wiring over by doors and you can see in the pictures. It doesn't seem safe and done properly.
