We went here for lunch and it was just amazing. We sat on the patio cause the weather was beautiful and ordered a bottle of their rich red wine. We also ordered their rigatoni rose pasta and the vodka sauce for it was super creamy and fresh. Along with that we got the bread service and the presentation was beautiful with a nice warm loaf of sourdough and a roasted garlic to squeeze into our oil. We also tried the vegetarian pizza which was also nice. Overall the place was nice and our waiter was super friendly!

We love coming to Montaluce for the vibe and the food. It was our first time eating at Trattoria De Montaluce. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat outside so we could enjoy the beautiful view of the winery.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The waitress was amazing and recommended the espresso pizza. It sounds really weird but was my favorite of the whole meal! The flavor works so well with the rest of the pizza! The drinks were good, and I can't wait to come back again!

We stopped by for dinner after a hike at a local donkey rescue. This is to say that I was super casual in sweats and sneakers and was dressed just fine. We were seated promptly (we had reservations) and had attentive service. I had the risotto with shrimp and it was creamy and delicious. They had a few different types of spritzes on their menu (I am an Aperol girl) and I decided to branch out and try the Limoncello Spritz. It was so good that I need to recreate this at home. We were a group of eight and everyone enjoyed their meals. No notes

My fiancé and I went to Montaluce a couple weeks ago to tour it as a potential wedding venue. After our lovely tour, we decided to get some lunch at Trattoria di Montaluce before leaving town. The views on this sunny day were gorgeous. We dined outside and had the perfect spot to gaze at the vineyard. I couldn't figure out what I wanted to drink and asked a few questions. Our waitress Ana-Leigh recommended to me the Hugo Spritz (elderflower) which I enjoyed a lot. She was so sweet, helpful, and kind! To eat, my fiancé and I shared a Caesar salad that was served in a Parmesan bowl (can you say yum?!) and a margherita pizza with burrata (WOW!). Everything was incredible. For dessert, we indulged in a cookie skillet that was gooey and hot and paired nicely with cold, smooth ice cream on top. It tasted sinfully delicious. We can't wait to come back to experience more!

Second time dining here. It was a slow and quiet Monday lunch. Our party of 4 enjoyed delicious Caesars salad, fresh bread with roasted garlic, margherita pizza and a tomato base minestrone soup. Server was attentive and friendly. Had a beautiful view of the vineyard and outside patio. On the way out saw some beautiful locally grown mushrooms in the display case.

I came here on Valentine's Day . We first stopped at the winery next door to do wine tasting while we waited for our reservation. The place it self is beautiful and romantic . The food was delicious . My boyfriend ordered 2 meatballs and they were huge ! . My pizza was delicious very different and the calamari was perfectly season . This place offers scenery, a great time and delicious food.

We came back just to have lunch here and we were so happy we did!! Little pricey but it was so good my husband and I finished rather large portion of the fresh pasta . He had the lasagna- not your run of the mill! Presentation of the lasagna came out in a cassoulet- fresh and fabulous! I had the pasta with rague just a tad more sauce and it would have been perfect but still amazing !! We sat at the bar and had great service and wonderful drinks !

Having dinner here was a disappointing end to an otherwise great day. We arrived at 8:45 for 9 o'clock reservation. While we were promoting greeted, we waited at the hostess stand for about 10 minutes while the hostess located a table in a relatively empty restaurant. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were sat a table near the bar with a wobbly leg! There were plenty of empty tables around us so we asked if we could move. After a few minutes, we were told yes[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. We sat for 10 minutes before our server greeted us. She seemed preoccupied and not really focused on us. She took our drink orders and told us she would bring us water. She did but it took forever. We told her it was our first time and asked for some suggestions. She then advised that we had old menus! She left to get current ones. Our drinks took so long I walked to the bar and asked if the one sitting there were ours! I was told by someone who appeared to be the manager they were and he brought them to the table. They were not good-AT ALL! The food was the only thing good about our experience. We ordered the lasagna and pepperoni pizza. Both were delicious! I think the lasagna was the best we ever tasted! The food is the reason I am giving two stars! Unfortunately, it was not good enough for me to endure dining in this restaurant again. [[HIGHLIGHT]]However, I would like to see the winery as it was dark when we were there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Our party of 5 arrived at 11 to celebrate my granddaughter's pending graduation. The luncheon consisted of calamari, pizza, beretta, minestrone soup, tea, wine, gumbo and two servings of bread. So much food for lunch. The service was great and efficient. The staff was very available since we were the only ones in the area.

Bartenders were great and so were the drinks. This salad tho... super disappointing. Basically a soup! This is one of the only GF options so I ordered it, I usually love shrimp salads but this was drenched in dressing. I believe any place known for their pizzas should put pride into their salads as well- they should be able to pair well together. Won't come back for food!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I'd recommend dining earlier in the day if possible as the restaurant gets pretty busy as the day goes on.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our experience was just OK. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The views from the winery really are gorgeous and made up for our dining experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There was a pretty long wait for a table which was to be expected, but the service took a long time. All of our dishes came out at different times. The pasta was really good but the chicken Parmesan was overcooked.

I always sit at the bar and talk with the waitresses or waiters while I enjoy my drink, talking about our days, what's going on in life, then 10-15 mins later my food comes out! Always exactly what I order, never unsatisfied with food quality, and most importantly I feel welcome! Since I have gone so many times, once I'm recognized, we make jokes that I always order "the usual," an iced tea with a bbq bacon cheeseburger (and it's true, lol). Overall, if you are ever on a roadtrip, in town shopping around, or hanging with friends, and want to get a quick bite to eat, chat with someone locally, the Nighthawk Tavern is the place to go!

Menus and water were served promptly and the food was brought to our table piping hot. Even the fries, the failure point for most restaurants were hit and crisp. The pizzas, described as Chicago Style, were a thin crust pie. (Somebody needs to visit Chicago-Town for a primer). But, both pies disappeared. A fajita bowl and burrito bowl both vanished. My Greek gyro was overstuffed with lamb and fillings. Absolutely fantastic. And the spicy chicken fingers also vanished. Zero leftovers on ole servings. The food was that good. And service was attentive and water was consistently refilled. Just one caveat, for larger groups, Nighthawk Tavern adds a gratuity to the check. They're very transparent, as the tip is clearly shown. I still added a few bucks to the total. If you're in Dahlonega. you'll be more than happy with Nighthawk Tavern. And you certainly won't leave hungry.

We had a reservation for dinner on 12/20 at 6:30 pm. Knowing it was the holiday season and that Dahlonega is a popular destination, we intentionally made a reservation so our family could enjoy a relaxed dinner together during our visit. Unfortunately, the experience fell short in several ways. Cons: Despite having a reservation, we waited an excessive amount of time to be seated. Once seated, our table was visibly dirty. When a server finally came by, bread was delivered without plates, utensils, or napkins, which required an additional long wait. Service throughout the meal was extremely slow. We watched several other parties arrive, dine, and leave while we were still waiting. The chicken piccata was not prepared correctly and tasted more like a sour Alfredo-style sauce. The steak was chewy and not cooked as ordered. Pros: We received a small complimentary cannoli for a birthday, which was appreciated. The ambiance was festive and nice for the holidays. Had we known about the level of service and food quality ahead of time, we would have chosen to dine elsewhere during our visit. It's disappointing to say, but based on this experience, I would not retur

The Cumming location is great, but the Dahlonega location needs some support in the food. The ambience and service is always great, that's not the issue . Sadly it seems I'll have to wait another 3 years before I try this place again.

Had a fabulous dinner with girls. It was their first time experiencing the wineries of Dahlonega and Monteluce was our 3rd stop. The sunset was absolutely stunning and the patio was very relaxing. Our meal was good but not great. Pretty pricey for the quality of food. Everything we ordered was tasty but nothing tasted amazing. For apps we had Focaccia Bread and Salads. Entrees: Salmon, Ribeye, and Pork Belly Tacos. Some of us split a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and that was very yummy.
