We stopped by Bourbon Street Grille on the way home from a weekend in Blue Ridge, GA, and it was such a great choice! We sat out on the balcony, which had a beautiful view and such a nice, relaxed vibe -- perfect for winding down after the trip. The food was amazing! I ordered the Dirty Shrimp, which was flavorful and cooked perfectly, and my boyfriend got the Fried Crawfish Po' Boy, which was packed with crispy crawfish and plenty of flavor. We also had a Bloody Mary, and it was delicious. Service was friendly, food came out quickly, and the atmosphere made the experience even better. If you're in the area and craving Cajun food, definitely stop here!

Enjoyed an absolutely fantastic dinner here the other night. From high quality food, great service, and a beautiful patio view overlooking the center of town, this restaurant checks all the boxes. I had my mind set on trying three things so I opted to get those instead of an entree. However my husband got an entree and it was a ton of food, enough to take home leftovers. I really enjoyed the crab cake, grits, and the Paul Thomas chocolate beignet for dessert (which was huge by the way, and great to share with someone else). We both enjoyed everything about our dinner and experience here, and I'd absolutely come back here if I visit the area again.

If you're looking for Authentic Cajun style food this is the place to go! Fast service and the area was very clean! We went around 7/8PM and did not have to wait at all, got seated immediately! If you have been to Louisiana before, then this is the best place if you are missing home or craving authentic Cajun food! The beignets were also amazing.

My friends and I were in the area visiting a winery nearby. We had only shared a small charcuterie board there and were ready for a real meal afterwards. We were excited to try this place and even more relieved when we were able to get seated right away on a Saturday for late lunch/early dinner. For drinks we got their Rose water gin & tonic, Strawberry margarita, and sweet tea. The rose taste was subtle which is my preferred and my friends enjoyed their drinks. We also split fried pickles as an appetizer with ranch. They fell apart pretty easily but satisfied our salty craving. Entrees included Crab Cake with Cajun fries, Red snapper Pontchartrain with asparagus, and Pan seared mahi with mashed potatoes. Crab cakes were soft while the fries were crunchy. I really liked the sauce on the red snapper and found the mahi to be tender. For the finale, the dessert just had to be Beignets. There were slightly dense, chewy, and sweet with the centimeter thick layer of powdered sugar on top. Overall, all the dishes were well seasoned and hearty portions. We especially enjoyed our table since it was right on their balcony (small space) so we could people watch the street below. Bathroom was clean and organized. Prices were a good match for the quality and portions. Would love to come again the next time we are in the area.

Quaint place in downtown with about 7 tables indoors and 4-5 ish on the patio. Big portions and the red snapper was phenomenal. If you're in Dahlonega, a must eat!

    Looked great, tasted pretty poor.

Looking for a spot to eat breakfast and this spot was open plus they had beautiful outdoor balcony seating! Sadly, the atmosphere is the best about this place. The food was mediocre and I'm pretty sure the eggs are powdered. Breakfast was lacking flavor, the grits were extremely greasy. If coming here for bfast I'd say come with the expectation of bar food. Service was great, our server was kind and fast. Food quality though was pretty bad.

Another solid experience with Bourbon Street Grille. It was a chilly day, but spectacularly beautiful, so the view from the second floor was lovely. I started with a brown ale from Highland Brewing Company out of Asheville, NC. Great body and strong ale flavor, on draft. Service was on point, as always. Friendly and attentive, with nice check-in's to be sure we were enjoying our food. Food was delicious, of course. I tried the small swamp salad with my entree and it was an ample serving for two. So fresh, plenty of fresh lettuce and veg, served with homemade Bleu cheese dressing. No beignets for us this time, more's the pity, but our meals were far too satisfying to indulge. We will return again and again!

There's lots to like here. With some standouts and maybe a miss or two. The good-great variety of offerings and very reasonable prices. The house salad, called a swamp salad at $6 for a small was a steal. The large salad with a crab cake was more than satisfying. Surprisingly, the crab cake was more crab than breading. The wings appetizer is a pass. Small, not crispy. And something I wouldn't order again. The gumbo was extremely thick. I'm used to a bit more "soup", but it was packed with sausage, shrimp, rice and veggie chunks. Spicy, too. Very good. A little more "soup" and it would have been some if the best I've ever tasted. Fish tacos were just ok. The fish was dry. Another pass. As for the cheesesteak hoagies, the boys scarfed them down. So, based how they were devoured, I'd say they're a winner, too! Certainly worth another visit. BTW, the burgers looked phenomenal.

    Dirty shrimp 1/2 eaten.

The dirty shrimp was incredible. Large shrimp. Every bite was delicious. Wife had the blackened Mahi po boy. That was also very tasty. You won't go wrong here.

Fantastic breakfast. We sat outside overlooking the square watching the Bear on the Square festival come to life this morning. Service was great. Food was amazing. I can't wait to come back for dinner.

Very quaint business. Has all the makings as if you're down on bourbon street. The service was great. We were greeted upon entering and the waitress came over right away. I had the Crab Cakes Benedict and it was on point. Added a little hot sauce cause I'm extra special but they were delish. 5 star all day. Hope to come back soon

Do they have live music on Sunday mornings here for brunch?

Is this the place that has fire pits outside?

I think there is on the lower level in the back of the building where they do the live bands.

We had a reservation for dinner on 12/20 at 6:30 pm. Knowing it was the holiday season and that Dahlonega is a popular destination, we intentionally made a reservation so our family could enjoy a relaxed dinner together during our visit. Unfortunately, the experience fell short in several ways. Cons: Despite having a reservation, we waited an excessive amount of time to be seated. Once seated, our table was visibly dirty. When a server finally came by, bread was delivered without plates, utensils, or napkins, which required an additional long wait. Service throughout the meal was extremely slow. We watched several other parties arrive, dine, and leave while we were still waiting. The chicken piccata was not prepared correctly and tasted more like a sour Alfredo-style sauce. The steak was chewy and not cooked as ordered. Pros: We received a small complimentary cannoli for a birthday, which was appreciated. The ambiance was festive and nice for the holidays. Had we known about the level of service and food quality ahead of time, we would have chosen to dine elsewhere during our visit. Unfortunately, the food was a major disappointment. Everything felt overpriced, uninspired, and poorly executed. The salmon crostini appetizer was very ordinary and lacked any memorable flavor. The vegetable pasta was dry, undercooked, and felt unfinished, as if the dish was missing something. The pork chop was also dry and simply prepared. For a $40 entrée, I expected much more in terms of both quality and presentation. The only dish that was fairly decent was the seared chicken, but even that didn't justify the price. To make matters worse, by 4:00 PM they had already run out of the salmon entrée, which was extremely disappointing and not something you would expect from a restaurant at this price point. For the amount you'll spend here, you can dine at many excellent restaurants in Atlanta and have a far better culinary experience. If you're planning to visit Montaluce, come for the breathtaking scenery and the wine. Just don't come expecting the food to match the setting. Honestly, I left feeling like the money wasn't well spent, and I genuinely regret spending that much on the meal.
