The food is great; service not so much. We made reservations for 5:30 pm on Thursday. Our friends we're meeting us at 6:00. Around 5:58 our waitress started quizzing us, asking when our friends would arrive, because they wanted us gone by 7:00. She was very persistent; I asked if she wanted us to leave, so the table could be ready in plenty of time. She said no; our friends arrived by 6:01. We felt very rushed. Other tables were in use when we arrived at 5:30. None of them were asked to gulp down their food to make their tables available. read more

We tried this wonderful Italian restaurant while driving home from Jacksonville. We are 1st generation Italian and from Boston so we are extremely Italian food picky. We can't say enough good things about the food here. The waitstaff was excellent, very friendly & fun, it felt like family. The restaurant is charming and super clean. The food was great!!! We got the chicken franchise it was so delicious! We loved the salad, the wine & the bread. Dessert the cannoli was so yummy. You definitely need to try this place if you are Italian or enjoy real Italian food. We can't wait to go back again. read more

This restaurant is excellent. Its very nice inside and somewhere you want to dress up! I will wear my high heels next time We had the Manicotti and the Spaghetti Amatriciana. They were both excellent!!!!!! The spaghetti was pleasantly warm ( with spice) and I raved with happiness in every bite. The Limoncello also very tasty, light and fluffy. This is a delicious and quaint restaurant in a shopping center. It had great reviews and was on our way home from the Night of Lights in St Augustine. We decided to try it out and it was beyond fantastic. The waitress, owner and chef were very friendly. We came in with a little over an hour to closing on a Sunday night and most tables were full. It started to die out while there which was expected and a blessing for us. We had a great conversation with the owner and another patron. Their wine list, mozzarella en carrozza, veal parmigiana and Stromboli were all fantastic! We live 3 hours away and will definitely be back! Thank you so much for a great night! Woah! This was delicious. True Italian food and extremely friendly staff. We ordered the caprese bruschetta to start, but were blown away with our main courses. We ordered the pasta carbonara and the seared scallops pancetta. It was fabulous. This place is a gem you will not regret trying it out! read more

Second time here. First was about 6 weeks ago on a second date so we met at the restaurant. Quaint atmosphere. Service was spot on. Food... YUM! This time I ordered takeout as a surprise for the date. Decided to just walk in and order vs calling ahead. Penny was super welcoming and kept me entertained while I waited for the order. Food was average but waitress did everything to rush us out of restaurant. There was only one other couple in there. it was lunchtime and even though we mentioned twice that we were not in a hurry, she pressured us to order and cleared each plate as the person finished eating. We were in town for the weekend and based upon the reviews we decided to give this place a try. We ordered a large take out pizza and the dough was not cooked or even browned on the bottom of the pie. The server informed us that we ordered too many toppings and it was causing the dough to not cook properly. Wait, what? We only ordered a white pizza with spinach, feta and mushrooms. Plus, tomatoes were on the pizza, which we did not order. The pizza was a soggy mess that we could not even heat up in the oven to eat because the pieces were falling apart. For a $40.00 pizza I would expect it to be cooked perfectly! It and a disaster and very over priced In my opinion. We will not be back or recommend this establishment. read more

I've been coming to this restaurant for about two years and it has totally gone downhill. Their house salad is terrible, the eggplant parmigiana used to be good and now the eggplant is cut so thin and watered down with too much tomato sauce...it's simply not edible. It's totally apparent that the owner is cutting down on the quality of the food while raising prices. The friendly staff that used to work there are gone and replaced by waitresses who are rude. I'm visiting St. Augustine for personal business. About the fourth day I just stopped in. The food was abundant (I ate the leftovers for lunch the following day) and delicious! I was disappointed with the lack of timely service and lack of accountability by the owner of the restaurant. Very unprofessional. We waited over 40 minutes a lunch portion serving, at dinner prices. This was a pleasant find. We started with the meatball for an appetizer. It was delicious! My husband had the fettuccine Alfredo and I had the manicotti. Both were excellent! I only wish I would have gotten more bread. It was offered, I decided I didn't need any. We had a lot of leftovers and took home cannolis for later. I walked into this cozy little Italian bistro to order a pizza that frankly was amazingly delicious. The pizza was well loaded. I ordered the Gusto pizza. The customer service was exceptional, while I was waiting for my pizza the servers and owner or manager were super friendly and talking with me and the other guy at the wine bar. We had a discussion about our preferred wines and the server who took my order gave me a sample of a delicious Meiomi Pinot Noir. When she gave me my fresh out of the oven Hot 16" Pizza, the Manager went above and beyond to open the door for me and they all thanked me for coming as I walked out. This restaurant came highly recommended by friends of my wife so we decided to give it a try. My wife ordered the chicken dijon. I ordered veal parmigiana, which is my go to entrée. Dinners were served with bread and salad. The service was great and the ambiance was very nice. My wife totally enjoyed the chicken dijon. The veal parmigiana unfortunately didn't live up to expectations! The sauce was excellent. The veal wasn't. I couldn't find any mozzarella on the veal but did see and taste parmesan cheese. I told the server that I didn't see any mozzarella cheese on the veal but i did see minimal amounts of what looked and tasted like parmesan cheese. I asked what cheeses were on the veal. She assured me she saw it had mozzarella on it as it went into the oven. She said the mozzarella had probably browned up and was not recognizable from the brown breadcrumbs!!!! Yeah right!! If it was on there it was applied with a salt shaker because it in no way resembled any veal parmigiana i have had in other restaurants. Based on my wife's dinner i would probably give one of the other entree's a try but would not order either the veal or chicken parmigiana based on what i was served. Only choice of pasta was spaghetti or linguine. read more

What can I say? It was amazing from beginning to end... The service was exceptional and when we called for information, Amy was smiling and inviting us to come on in and give it a try. The reviews are right on target... We ordered three different entrées and they were all incredible... The lasagna was some of the best I have ever tasted! Stopped here with our family of four and was surprised at how good it was! Ordered two 10 inch pizzas and both were excellent. The bread with olive oil was very good and tasted fresh! Great service, great food, and great deserts. A little pricey, not your local place for an inexpensive dinner. They charge a 4% surcharge for using a credit card which I thought a bit nervy considering the price of the food. They only have linguine and spaghetti for their pasta choices, I prefer ziti when eating a meat dish. read more
