I love getting coffee and breakfast food items here! I like getting their frappes (avalanche: white chocolate & caramel is one of my go-tos). They have a lot of other coffee options. I think I've seen they have an affogato, I definitely want to try it next time. I've gotten their breakfast burrito and sandwiches! They have a lot of food/drink options on the menu. The staff there are always so nice and friendly. A dog friendly spot for sure! I keep coming back as Morgan Hill does not have a lot of coffee shops. GVA is def a spot to check out!! read more

This place is under new ownership. Looks a little cleaner and more organized now, but was still a good spot before. Great sandwiches, and 5 star gelato. The gelato is worth a trip. Staff have always been nice and friendly under old and new ownership. Fair prices, comparatively. read more

I have been wanting to try this place after seeing a friend post his visits a couple of times. I found myself in Morgan Hill yesterday and decided to try it out. We were not disappointed. We ordered at the counter and then went outside to find a table. Our drinks were brought quickly with the breakfast sandwiches following soon after. Portion size was great. Maybe consider splitting a sandwich if you want to leave room for gelato! Coffee drinks were yummy, breakfast sandwiches were delicious, and gelato was amazing. Service was great and the staff was friendly. I enjoyed sitting outside. It was a pleasant experience all around. If you haven't tried this place yet, you should, you won't regret it! I'm definitely going back to try the BLT on a croissant. read more

I've become a regular here. I love coming for my breakfast burrito. I decided to add avocado today, which makes it the Cali burrito. I love this place so much and rave about their burritos to anyone who will listen. I have bought a burrito for my brother and mom because they are just sooo good! The Vanilla Bean gelato lived up to its name! It was cool, refreshing, and did not melt fast. A small size should be enough for one person unless you are really hungry. Overall, a solid gelato for a reasonable price ($3.99). Came in around 1 PM and was served immediately. Was able to find seating and the store is relatively clean. read more

This place is one of my favorite places in Morgan Hill, everything is delicious. I've had the lunch sandwiches, the pulled pork and pesto veggie sandwiches are my two favorites. The lavender lemonade is so good with the sandwiches. The smoothies are delicious. I love the avocado toast. I like the seating area outside, it's a nice vibe. Service is always very nice and friendly. They also have gelato, very good but who doesn't like gelato. read more

We love this place and go almost every weekend for breakfast. This is the second time this has happened, and it's been the same female employee. We love their gelato, and the first time we bought a large, it was filled halfway. The sign says 3 scoops, so I get it, but it's the tiniest 3 scoops I've ever had. This time, we bought a pint for $10.99, and as you can see, it's not filled again! Maybe I was spoiled because previous times that I've purchased Gelato and not by this female employee, it was filled at least to the top. Anyone have the same experience? read more

So glad we found this place in Morgan Hill (cla short driving distance from our Marriott a courtyard stay). I got a tasty bowl here (Gluten free) and appreciated the modifications (without cheese) and husband got a tasty burrito. Our drinks were great and caffeine fueled. It was nice to sit inside and out of the cold. I noticed lots of delicious gelato options here too! Service was fast and friendly! read more

Came for a lunch meeting and was greeted by amicable staff. It was very warm inside for a nice, chilly day outside. The theme of the restaurant is cool. Ambiance for our door seating was good, next to main Street, not too noisy but bustling with cars. Chai tea latte was great (a little on the sweeter side) and the turkey sandwich on sourdough hit the spot. The prices are also very competitive and economically friendly for proportion. This place used to be a very friendly & inviting place. Staff used to be welcoming & would take the time with customers so they had an enjoyable visit. Not sure who put up the flag showing support for BLM, but thankfully it's down now. It's probably no longer affords as many activist points as it used too. Recently my family tried to get ice cream and it was 2:03. Sign says closed at 2:00 but the doors were unlocked & employees inside were just chit chatting. In the middle of the day on a 90+ day outside they refused to serve my kids & simply went back to talking. Customer service could use a refresher course. The 3 stars are for the gelato cuz it's still good. Just hopefully no Law Enforcement go in while in uniform..... read more

GVA is our favorite coffee and lunch spot in Morgan Hill. Their pour overs are great, and the Veggie Delight sandwich with added turkey breast is fantastic and generous enough to share. This review is long overdue. Since moving to Morgan Hill GVA has been our go to coffee places when we want to treat ourselves. I have a sensitive stomach and some coffees can be too acidic but not GVA's. I love their lattes and options of syrups. The customer service here is AMAZING! I forgot to mention I wanted my latte Iced and I was ready to pay because obviously it was my fault but they remade it for me and didn't charge me. So sweet!! Our pup also loves joining us, they have a little doggie grass patch outside for them to do their business and outdoor seating. Check them out! read more

This adorable downtown location is great. Outside to get some fresh air and Main Street action.... I tried the avocado toast ( 1 slice was plenty) with sliced egg, bacon & feta!! smashing!!! Yummmy! Yes!! A must have!! Today I wanted to try horchata iced coffee with oat milk ( I can't do too much dairy) it was delicious and was JUST what I needed as a treat today! $13 for all, peace, little sunlight, quality fresh food... win win!! read more

I happened to stop here on a road trip recently, looking on Yelp for someplace to get a sandwich that had gluten free bread. This place sounded great and I was happy to see GF was a option. I called to make sure they had it (as some places advertise but the time I go there they are "out") and they said they did. The food options were many! We had a turkey sandwich in GF that was to die for. It was fresh turkey, not deli meat and I WISH I could ever bake a turkey to come out so perfectly moist. It was so good and seemed made with care. We enjoyed some delicious iced lattes (lots of flavors to choose from) and I noticed on the way out they had baked goods including a brownie that was GF and vegan. The service and friendliness of the staff was way above average. I may have stumbled in this time but next time I go near I will definitely plan to go back to Grinds! read more

Went here for breakfast. Breakfast crepe had lots of flavor and came with red and green salsa to use. I'd order this for breakfast again. Can't speak for the coffee as I didn't order any. I also wanna shout out their music playlist which was fantastic. Their menu is pretty big with lots and lots to choose from, so there's plenty to choose from for the next time I go. read more

Wow this place was such an amazing find in Morgan Hill. Cute little cafe with very kind, inclusive staff. What I loved most was the veggie options. I tried the tofu bowl and it was very tasty with lots of delish fresh tofu, spinach, black beans and vegan cheese. The salsa was nice and spicy. They unfortunate were our of chai when I was there but the latte was very delicious with oat milk! The person I was meeting there had a pastrami sandwich and she enjoyed it. Big portion so she brought the other half home. Will be visiting again! read more

We've been here before and had a decent experience, which is why we chose to return. Unfortunately, the biggest issue this time was efficiency. Despite having 4 staff members working, the wait time kept growing instead of shrinking. What started as a couple of people waiting turned into several, and at one point someone even gave up and asked for a simple drip coffee just to leave faster. It ultimately took about 30 minutes to receive a single drink. While waiting, it became clear that workflow and prioritization were lacking. At one point, staff paused drink preparation to rearrange and move equipment, even as more customers, including a soccer team, arrived. It created a frustrating experience, especially for those just looking for a quick coffee. It's disappointing because we chose to stop here instead of going to Starbucks, hoping to support a local spot we'd enjoyed before. While the quality and atmosphere are there, the lack of efficiency makes it difficult to justify returning.

The staff is about around the younger side so they're not particularly chatty. Parking is pretty easy despite it being in their little downtown. There is a structure and plenty of street parking around. Overall a great spot to hangout in if you're a local or a little pitstop.

The first part of the store inside has goodies / merch to buy. While the store is free to visit the cats, we felt obligated to buy something as we had a great time. The cats were so cute! I bought a coffee. In the interior cat area there are many cats inside, with many toys to play with. Lots of varieties. We saw one with inly 3 legs but he was so adorable!!! They came in different moods, some were napping and some were ultra hyper. The staff was very nice and it seemed lots of them were getting adopted. Several parties can sit inside because it's so spacious in the cat area. Highly recommended!!!!

That being said it seems like one of the few places to get banh mi in Morgan hill, I do feel that they should not be charging such premium price for their sandwiches. If it was cheaper then I wouldn't be so harsh as "you get what you pay for". Not the case here

The sandwich came out quickly and was quite good. However I could barely taste any Jalapeno in the bagel which was disappointing. Overall I enjoyed my food. I would just say that you need to get there early if you want to have a decent choice of bagels.

Another sign states that Betsy's has been serving this community since 1981. I was greeted immediately upon entering and advised to "just sit anywhere." I grabbed the first booth I encountered and was brought water and menu right away. The waitress took my order of a bacon cheeseburger and onion rings ($16.50). A few minutes later the onion rings of my dreams (super crispy on the outside and a real onion rings inside with enough crunch left that you can bite through without dragging a soggy onion out of its outer shell, so each mouthful is both onion and crunchy coating) arrived and a sandwich with crispy (not soggy, underdone) bacon, hefty burger patty (done just how I like them with carmelized edges and perfectly done thick center) with cheese, pickles, red onions, lettuce and mayo. I asked them to leave off the tomato due to my food allergies. The bun was soft but held up well to the heft of the sandwich. The decor was classic 60's style diner. While the seats were well padded and the covering looked practically new, some of the tables showed the wear of the years on the corners. There is also a short lunch counter next to the kitchen. What really caught my attention is the staff seemed to know most of the guests and greeted them by name as they came and went and inquired into different aspects of their lives. This personal touch reflects what seems to be a long-time relationship with dedicated customers. Parking is close to the door. This place was a little hard for me to find as it is behind the bowling alley at Tennant Station Shopping center, but was well worth the effort to locate and enjoy. I will be returning in the future!!

The restaurant was clean, ran smoothly and the customers all truly looked to be enjoying their meals. Can't wait to try the pancakes!
