This is my favorite place to visit in Kingsport! I live in California, but my family is from here, so I visit often. Gypsy Circus always deserves a visit, or two.. or three. Great live music, fun trivia nights, and a great outdoor space with games. Plus, the employees are awesome and so friendly. Bobby especially has been great! Always making sure I have what I need and I saw him helping out other customers as well. I love it here! read more

Great ciders and many other options with which to indulge. Ora and Jenna are super friendly and quick to offer up great suggestions! Trivia on Tuesday's is a lot of fun. The inside is a bit small but they have a great outdoor area to hangout with friends and enjoy a drink or two. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for an eclectic place with great drinks, not just ciders! read more

We found a recommendation for the Taproom on TripAdvisor and wanted to try it. We were greeted by a nice guy behind the bar with a lot of knowledge. He answered all our questions along with some locals who visit frequently. There are so many awesome Ciders to try with a huge list hanging above. The prices were reasonable. They were having a yoga class on the opposite side with about 10 ladies. We had a unique experience and will return. read more

I live near Gypsy Cider so I've visited multiple times. The ciders are always really good and the mead too. There's only one cider I didn't like and it had pepper in it and tasted smoky. But some people probably love that! My favorite was an apple butter one :) the bohemian (restaurant inside) will get its own review, but I love that they serve great food with cider infusions. The decor is #goals! One issue we have had on a busy night is finding parking. Either get there early or park at a neighboring business if possible. read more

Gypsy installed additional speakers to the front parking lot of there business that serve no purpose but to annoy there neighbors. Even after numerous complaints of the nusiance from 4 pm past 10 pm. They continue to blare. They clearing don't care about the residents here and I personally will no longer support their business read more

I love Gypsy! Such a fun atmosphere! They have food trucks Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sundays so it gives you a chance to try different cuisine! They also change out their craft beer tap selection often which is amazing! Brandon is also the best and very knowledgeable about ciders and craft beer! Ok. I love this place, I really do. For every bad thing there is a silver lining. The food is so-so but the sauces are epic. There's great booze with unusual flavors but your favorite one won't be there forever (and they are ALWAYS out of Queen of Swords, which is their long-time best seller for a reason). The seats are uncomfortable but you get great service (as long as you sit at the bar. If you grab a table you will be completely ignored). There's interesting stuff going on at the stage but unless you happen to get one of the five good seats you won't be able to see anything. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is the kind of funky that I love - go see the Alice in Wonderland themed bathrooms. However going downstairs to the outside area is NOT SAFE especially when you have been drinking. All in all I will continue coming here and buying Gypsy Circus beverages at the grocery store because it's damn tasty, and because I love seeing a local brewery get love. read more

Their COVID-19 policies, although in place, are not in forced. The last time we were there they had sanitizer available, which is now gone. Service was poor, and it's normally terrific. We have been here both before and after the pandemic and this visit left us not wanting to ever return. The food was cold, inadequately portioned for the price. The cider was at least cold but not much else positive i can say about the new flavors. Hope they can clean up their act, so we feel like we can once again return. Cheers! read more

As"luck" has it , I found myself in Kingsport Tn working for I while. I really enjoy supporting local business's whenever I can. I had a few disappointments early on so I stuck to the tried and true chain restaurants that I have come to trust. My wife came into town this weekend and we decided to venture out once again. We when to a couple of local places and asked for their favorite beer from a local brewery. The response that we got each time was the same. "You have to try the Gypsy Cider" I was hesitan at first, i mean, a cider? I was not disappointed at all. After trying One their ciders, I was hooked and had to go there for myself. We had a great time and some even better drinks. The bartender Beth was amaazing. Being from Buffalo I really gave her a hard time over the chicken wings, Beth was a true trooper. I recommend this place even if you have to go out of your way to get there. I can definitely see myself as a regular here. read more
