    Strawberry Crumble Mead tastes great.
    Christina W.

TN's first cidery and it's right here in Kingsport! They serve house made ciders, mead, hard slushies and more. Come in for Happy Hour 4-6pm and enjoy half off dips. We tried both of their cheese dips: House Cheese Dip with Naan triangles; House-made Pimento Dip with tortilla chips. Both were very delicious. Glad we tried both dips. Their naan bread is chewy with a little crunchy outside. Best naan ever. Hubby enjoyed #9 cider and I enjoyed their dessert mead (strawberry crumble) thanks to the samples from the server. Service with a smile. Sit inside at your choice of table height table, couch or at the bar. Outside has chairs with barrels for tables. Notice the chalkboard wall displaying the monthly menu. Great conversation piece. Loud music plays allowing you to enjoy private conversations at your table. There is a stage for open mic night.

Our experience at gypsy was pleasant. The ambiance is very cute, with the hammocks and lighting. I will say that the stairs to get down to the outside area are *quite* the hazard, and seems like a weird thing to have in a place where people intend to be drinking alcohol. I enjoyed my cider flight and my partner enjoyed his IPA. If you're in the area, I'd say it's absolutely worth a trip! They have trivia, and open mic nights on occasion also, which seemed to draw a large crowd.

Awesome, fun spot with indoor/outdoor seating. You can't beat these bartenders! As your trying different ciders they will even mix flavors to make something just for you. Try the cheese dips!

I love cider, so when visiting the Tri-Cities area, I searched the internet to see what I could find. Gypsy Circus popped up, and I knew immediately this was going to be a stop. They have a great selection of interesting ciders, and I ended up with a flight that consisted of the apple, the Concord grape, and the lemoncello versions along with a fourth one that was a rum infused version of the apple. I also tried the habanero vanilla in slush form which was very interesting, and I wish I had tried it on the flight, too. Every cider was amazing in taste! The bartenders were super friendly and helpful. It was a nice day outside, so I sat in the patio area which also functions as a dog park for those who wish to bring their four-legged friends. Additionally, I tried the BBQ nachos. I almost ordered something else when I saw that they were covered with pimento cheese, but I'm so glad I didn't because the combination of flavors was absolutely incredible! I highly recommend a stop here for all cider lovers. I imagine the beer selection is just as good, but I'm not a beer enthusiast so I can't say for sure... I'm just pretty certain you won't be disappointed either. So do yourself a favor and stop in whether you are local or traveling through. Enjoy your visit and take home your own souvenir container (options to choose from) to enjoy later!

I visited this place because of Bingo night they host on Monday. It was really welcoming and has very relax vibe. The food looked very delicious. Will definitely come back to visit!

Live music, tasty cider, a gem in kingsport for sure. Decent snacks/eats nothing too gourmet or fancy but it'll feed you! Haha.

Fabulous experience yesterday at Gypsy Circus. Traveling from out of town and popped in to see what they had and didn't want to leave! Grant is an amazing guide to tasting and was spot on with his recommendations for our taste preferences. He went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our experience. The key lime cider is off the chains! Also loved the queen, clover and peach. Honestly the best ciders I have ever had, so I stocked up for the trip back to WV.

I've been coming to Gypsy Circus for years and always have had positive experiences. Tonight was the best experience I've had here to date! Beth was working the bar- she was extremely knowledgeable and very personable. She certainly made my night by recommending some fantastic ciders. If you're looking for some great brews and a fun atmosphere, check out Gypsy Circus! Big Gypsy Circus guy over here!

Our server, Alex was very friendly and offered some beer recommendations based on our preference. They had a good variety to pick from and even some canned to go. Their food menu also offered a good selection. My wife and I decided to share an order of loaded fries to start, and then the "white buffalo" pizza. I enjoy white pizza, and enjoy buffalo chicken pizza...but this was the first time I've ever seen them together. The food was great, everything, tasted really good, and had good flavors. The Game Day IPA and Lost Province IPA's were both also very tasty Being a Friday night, they had a live musician, playing great music, which we really enjoyed while we ate and took in the atmosphere. I'd pass this recommendation on as well, and would return to try some of their other varried menu next time I visit Boone

Service was excellent and the server couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. We weren't particularly hungry so we ordered an order of hot wings and the ahi tuna appetizer. The wings were large, juicy and cooked perfectly. We give the wings a 5 out of 5. They were accompanied by an interesting twist on the celery, thin slices that tasted like it had been soaked in lemon juice. Excellent. But the ahi was another matter. The presentation was excellent - unique and interesting - and it was served with a nice selection of different sauces streaked along the plate. A miniscule serving of chopped ahi was served atop 6 deep fried squares of sweet rice measuring about 1.5 inches on a side. The concept was really clever but the rice was so overcooked it was a solid wad of paste; the ahi on top of each small square of rice was good but was skimpy, to say the least - smaller than a teaspoon of chopped fish on each rice square. I doubt the total amount of ahi would have filled a shot glass. We give the presentation a 5 but the quality and quantity a 3.

It honestly kind of ruined our meal because we were sitting there sweating. I would not go back.

There is also a brunch menu with typical food such as breakfast plates, beignets, and biscuits & gravy. The parking lot is a bit small, but there is a slightly larger lot next door that does not seem to boot people. The restaurant is pretty spacious inside offering booths and tables. There is also outdoor seating. The service was very friendly and quick! My friend and I got the Korean Fried Chicken Sandi and Little Italy. I was in between trying their Breakfast Tacos and the Korean Fried Chicken Sandi, but the server told me to get the sandwich and it was decent. I had seen some reviews on other websites that people were worried it was going to be too spicy because of the gochujang. But it is NOT spicy at all, at least not to me. The sandwich tasted kind of sweet, which is a taste found in gochujang. There was a lot of red onion slaw, which I would probably not add in next time. The chicken was pretty crunchy and tasted good, but I did not taste the marination in the meat. I got waffle fries with honey mustard for my side which tasted pretty good. My friend enjoyed her Little Italy sandwich. Overall, I would give this place a 3.75/5 stars if I could. For my first visit, I thought the food was alright. I would come back to try other items on the menu because it is pretty vast, so there is probably something more to my liking there.
