Great for a night out, service was great, the piano bar singers are fantastic. We enjoyed a variety of good finger foods and drinks.

I'm honestly surprised it doesn't have a full five-star rating. The food is excellent--creative, high-quality gastropub fare that's easily some of the best we've had in the area. As newcomers, one of the biggest adjustments has been finding great restaurants, and Label has definitely filled that gap. We had a large group, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. Everyone's meal came out great, and not a single person left disappointed. To top it all off, the desserts were phenomenal and the perfect ending to a great meal. If you're looking for one of the best dining experiences in Johnson City, Label is absolutely worth a visit. We'll definitely be back!

The lady told me she didn't have change, and when I pulled out some coins, I assumed she meant she didn't have change in coins. I ended up giving her cash and change, and she said thank you. I then asked, "Can I get my change back?" because I was supposed to receive about $5 back. Apparently, she had assumed I was giving her a $5 tip on a $15 takeout order. To be clear, I was not. I understand tipping when someone is providing a service, but this was a takeout order--I walked in, picked up my food, and left. There was no table service or anything beyond handing me my order. She did have to go to the back to get my change and brought it back to me in $1 bills. The whole situation was just awkward and frustrating. Between the extremely small portion and the confusion over my change, I honestly wasn't impressed with the experience.

Wanting to be considerate of the staff, I called ahead to see if we could place an order in advance without causing them to stay open longer than necessary. Alecia, the restaurant manager, handled the call with both professionalism and thoughtful attention. After asking about our expected arrival time, she explained that she would time the preparation of the order so the food would be served hot and at its best quality when we arrived. She also informed us that Zack in the bar would assist us since the bar remained open later. Her approach reflected a clear commitment to both customer service and the integrity of their dining experience. Upon arrival, everything was exactly as described. Alecia ensured our order was ready and confirmed that Zack would take care of us going forward. Both Alecia and Zack were courteous, attentive, and genuinely friendly throughout the interaction. Their efforts stood out in a time when exceptional service can feel uncommon. I would confidently recommend The Carnegie Hotel and Wellington's to others based on the level of care and professionalism demonstrated by their staff.

I was traveling with my dog, who was a bit on edge from the long road trip and barked sporadically whenever people left the restaurant. Despite this, Aiden, my server, welcomed us with genuine kindness and patience. He was gracious, attentive, and completely unfazed by my dog's nerves, which made an already difficult day feel a little lighter. Because I was dining with my dog, I waited outside until the owner noticed me through the glass door. He immediately came out, warmly apologized for not seeing me sooner, and made sure we were comfortable. The apology was unnecessary -- if anything, it was definitely too cold to be dining outdoors, but I had no other option. Their hospitality made all the difference. As someone who lives in Atlanta, has dined at many excellent restaurants, and even wrote food reviews early in my career, I was genuinely blown away by the quality of the food. The wedge salad at The Red Fork is, without exaggeration, the best I have ever had. The fresh herbs, homemade dressing, and the addition of pickled onions created a layered, unexpected, and absolutely delicious flavor profile. I also loved the whipped pimento cheese served with what appeared to be homemade crackers and locally sourced chowchow. It was delightful -- one of those memorable bites you think about later. Their beer selection is also thoughtfully curated, representing a well‑balanced mix of local and regional craft brews -- IPAs, sours, lagers, and more. It's clear that care goes into every detail of the menu and beverage offerings, all locally sourced and seasonally influenced. I honestly can't believe such an outstanding restaurant exists in my hometown Tri‑Cities area. Between the exceptional food, the warm hospitality from both Aiden and the owner, and the overall welcoming atmosphere, The Red Fork provided the perfect end to a long and emotional day of travel. I will absolutely return, and I highly recommend it to anyone passing through or living nearby.

It was our first time dining here, and it exceeded every expectation. Because of the summer heat, our company had only packed casual clothes. Even though it's a high-end, upscale steakhouse, we were treated with total warmth and hospitality--our attire was never an issue. When rain cut our walk through town short, we arrived an hour ahead of our reservation, but the host team graciously seated us without a hitch. The real star of our evening, however, was our waiter, Jayden. Simply put, Jayden was exceptional. From the moment we sat down until we walked out the door, he made us feel like the only table in the entire restaurant. He was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond at every turn. Every part of the meal was outstanding--from the expertly crafted drinks to the delicious prime rib dinner and dessert. We even ended up bringing home a bottle of their exclusive bourbon! To top off an already perfect night, Jayden helped us celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary (which we hadn't even mentioned beforehand) with a wonderful, thoughtful touch. Outstanding food, incredible atmosphere, and world-class service. We highly recommend Jackson's Prime, and we will definitely be asking for Jayden on our next visit. Thank you, Jayden--and cheers to 21!

The staff was beyond friendly, truly made us feel right at home from the second we walked in. We didn't order food since we were heading to dinner, but the chef was so proud of his menu that he brought out a sample of the soup of the night (some kind of green gourmet magic), and wow... it was delicious.
