Because of the virus I've gotten food delivered from this local business 3 times recently and gotten a good sample of their menu. The food always arrives the perfect temperature, piled with fresh romane, tomatoes, and onion. The portion sizes are huge. For the Gyro wrap I enjoy a very good meal, but the platter could be split into two meals. The fries and rice have really great seasoning and the lamb is really flavorful and savory and there's always plenty of their yogurt sauce & spicy sauce on the side to add a punch of flavor. I can also attest that their dessert options are delicious! I'm going to order again from them soon and I'll try their falafel next. Give them a shot if you're looking to support a local business! I'm so happy that there is a location near me! I have yet to sit there and eat, but I do get some to-go. I always get the LAMB RICE and I haven't been disappointed yet. The lamb is so tender and flavorful and with all the combination of the rice and veggies, it's the perfect mix. I love that they give a variety of vegetables so the platter tastes unique and fresh. The sauces are also light and not too heavy, but provides a good creamy flavor. Overall, the platter is light and I don't feel heavy after eating. It's a perfect late night meal as well as they close late. I'll be coming here more often. read more

I always loved coming here, came here atleast once every month for the past 1,5 years. Yesterday I ordered my typical meal deal falafel gyro.. which comes with fries and a drink. After waiting 10-15 minutes, I get my order made by another employee, followed by me grabbing my drinks. Then apparently, the employee says would you like to add that, will charge you for it.. meaning, the other employee forgot to charge me for my meal deals, and he said if I wanted it I had to wait another 10-15 minutes. The employee did not care, did not apologize for their mistake and was rude. I asked back for a refund, and I said that I would never come back again, replied with; 'perfect'... horrible customer service. So delicious! They give samples of any meats that you'd like to try before you order. The lamb is by far the most tender meat they have. The flavor is incredible. As I was on my food tour while in Houston I came across this place and was excited that they had fish gyro on the menu. They definitely don't have that option in Jersey so i definitely made it my business to try it. The gyro was flavourful, nice amount of salt and whatever orange seasoning they used. I came in during their soft opening and I can already say I'm impressed. I'd like to compare their food to other halal foods I've tried like the Halal Guys in New York. They have many more options, and they're much less greasy. I got the lamb/chicken combo over rice, a side of the shrimp, and the gyro fries. So delicious! Their pita bread is soooo fluffy and amazing! If you get any bowl over rice, I recommend also getting a side of the pita to wrap it all up. Sooooo tasty! Game changer for sure. When I call in, they have my food ready within 10 minutes. But they are a little slow during lunch sometimes. After all of my visits here I definitely have to upgrade my review to a full five stars. I love this place. It sounds tremendous there is nothing at all negative that I can say about this place. The food is delicious the vegetables are Chris the juices are cold great flavor. Service is usually pretty good definitely something to come to and check out. If you get a salad and a juice for some pretty expensive meal, but so was it. The fruits and vegetables they use for the juices are cold so they don't waste room on ice Great value considering the price of juice any other place. This weekend we were invited to the launch of Gyro King's third branch in Houston. With over fifteen years of expertise running this family business, Gyro King has expanded from their first food truck to a branch in Sugarland and now a third branch in the city. They serve delicious Mediterranean food that is halal like shawarma, gyro platters and fresh juices. After eating at so many "hole-in-the-wall" type cafes in Houston, we definitely appreciated the spacious interior at Gyro King. We ordered a Chicken over Rice platter along with a Lamb Gyro. For our drinks, we had the King's Premium (one of their best sellers) along with Juice B. The food was delicious & very filling. We liked the King's Premium better. The hummus could be a little more blended and smooth. Overall, Gyro King is great value for money with an average meal for two costing around $25. The portion sizes are big, the seating area is nice and service is fast. We'll be back to try more things from the menu. Thanks for having us! read more

mannn i have used to be a strong follower of gyro king but sadly their quality has declined over the years.. first the truck and now restaurant locations... i doordashed a meal for lunch cause it was my 12 hour shift day and i couldnt leave. i ordered the lamb chicken combo over rice and a side of falafel. there was so little rice on the plate and my falafel were burnt to a crisp... i tried scraping off the burnt bits to eat the inside but it all tasted charcoal-esque :( at least the meat was good though.. just needed more rice and un-burnt falafel lol. ill probably give it another try since its the only gyro in the area though. hopefully better on the next order! read more

This place is delicious. We come here all the time and I always get the juice E without parsley. The E is my favorite but all the juices are great. I also get the bowl with chicken, rice and salad.
