I came from Chicago and wanted to find a good Gyro place. This place is amazing! Even better than what I found back home.

The Gyro fries and the Greek fries were absolutely delightful. My husband and I truly appreciated the friendly service from the staff.

Yummm-o! We got the gyro salad and it was huge, full of fresh ingredients and tasty! Service was fast and friendly! Highly recommend!

They are a new restaurant! I had to support a local business since I love Greek food. As of now, I've been there twice and the managers and staff that work. There are truly genuine people that actually care about the food and what they are producing as well as giving warm hospitality when you walk in. Ordered take out : both visits there I ordered the hummus with meat, which is so flavorful and creamy, the meat is very tender, not chewy and seasoned well. It comes with about 10 slices of pita to dip as well. Gyro with lamb which was HUGE and wonderful Chicken and lamb "salad" which was LARGE ! I enjoyed how big their portions are and the quality is well done. Cheese and sálad cut perfectly as well as the meat was tender . I preferred the lamb the chicken seemed a little dry . Only negative : I wish that there spanakopita was a two piece instead of a one piece since it's really small and pricey, especially when they put salad on top of it and made it really soggy, but it was delicious though . This food is the most consistent tasting and looking food you guys can get. My personal favorite for a late night snack since they are open till 1am is the Greek fries. I've never had an amazing nor bad experience from this place. If you're an introvert like me, the guys there are pretty quiet with their service, and just get you your food so you can be on your way, and I enjoy that. It's a pretty mellow place depending on what time you go, they have a little game machine in there if you like street fighter lol. Would recommend. read more

Wife and I talked about trying this place this last weekend but weren't able to due to kids needs and wants. Took part of a day on Monday and got two gyros to go (one normal, one super - extra meat and veggies). The good - the gyro itself was amazing, taste was spot on. The Tzatziki sauce was good, veggies were crisp and full of vigor. The not so great - due to it being to go, the sides (in this case- fries) and pita bread didn't travel well at all. Got a bit soggy, which is kind of expected but nothing that could be helped. Canned sodas so all in all it was enjoyable. Give it an 8/10, will revisit when the wife and I can go to the restaurant and eat in. I'm sure the review will go up but still - even with that I'd recommend it over other places in Kitsap. read more

I only had food delivered so don't know much about the restaurant it's self. The food I received in my order was not what I ordered, I ordered chicken and received beef kebabs. The kebabs themselves had good flavor, just weren't the flavor I was looking for. The garlic sauce and tzatziki was very tasty. The warm pita with hummus was delicious. The lentil soup not too exciting. Dunno if I'll try it again. read more

We decided to have a late lunch today and since we were in the vacinty of Gyro Star in Bremerton on 6 th we thought we would give it a go. I have read several reviews about them but none were so compelling as to make me drive the 30 minutes from my house to get there. We walked in and the first thing that caught my eye was the decor, the light fixtures, made out of stained glass and shaped into large parrots as well as the beautiful track lighting that while definitely didn't go together was really cute! The seating was clean and well spaced out and the floors and counters were immaculate. The menu board is hanging on the wall and you order at the counter. They have a paper menu for those of us wearing bifocals ( if you know, you know). They have a wonderful assortment of individually packaged desserts such as chocolate baklava, pistachio baklava and traditional baklava, brownies, lemon bars as well as tiramisu, caramel and strawberry cheesecake and everything looked delicious. We both opted for the Classic Gyro. It was delivered to our table, presented in a cone of parchment making it easy to see and handle. It was filled with a combination of tender beef and lamb seasoned to perfection with spices and accompanied by fresh romaine lettuce, tomato, thinly sliced onion and a delightful tzatziki sauce all for $8.99. This small little place has a mix of Greek and Indian cuisine with some wonderful vegetarian dishes. They also have chicken nuggets, cheeseburgers and fish and chips for those with limited pallet. They have a nice variety of cold drinks including yogurt drinks and Turkish Coffee. I have to be honest, I didn't expect to find this gem when we pulled into the parking lot. Don't judge a book by its cover. If you're still hungry, step next door ( shared space) and have a loaded waffle for dessert. We didn't partake this time but it looked delicious. I don't know if this is a family run business, but it feels like it is. Great efforts have been made to make it feel very comfortable while you wait the few minutes for your meal. What a hidden gem in our county! We are total falafel lovers, and the falafel here is delicious! We were warmly welcomed by Mo. He truly loves to help and please the customers. The hummus is soooo creamy and smooth. The falafel sandwich and burger were so fresh and tasty. The stuffed grape leaves were excellent, also. Oh, and the shrimp corn chowder was yummy! I ordered Gyro Star through Door Dash. I got a Chicken Gyro, Pita Bread with Tzatziki sauce, and Baklava. The Tzatziki was a huge portion which is great, but it was half frozen and it was served with only one pita cut into four triangles. The baklava was dry and half frozen as well. I took a couple of bites of it, but it was difficult to stomach as both the flavor and texture was off from baklava I have had in the past. The worst was the gyro - the chicken was cut super thin and was crispy to the point I had to look back at the order to see if they put some sort of chip or fried potato in the gyro -- when I figured out that it was the chicken that was crispy like that, I couldn't finish eating it. I absolutely would not recommend this shop to anyone and absolutely won't be eating there again. read more

This is a good place to go for a falafel or traditional gyro. I've had both the gyro and falafel sandwich and they were both great. However, I've tried a couple of their other menu items, and they were not good. I probably won't ever try anything else on the menu except the sandwiches I mentioned above. Stopped in here as I got a local ad for it while I was living in the area and craving greek food. The gyro I had was good (the meat tasted delicious and was seasoned well), however the tzatziki sauce was more like thin greek yogurt without the seasoning I'm used to). The greek fries were good but had a lot of cheese and their tzatziki sauce on top of it making them a bit soggy. Otherwise staff was very attentive! Glad I got to have a nice meal here. read more

The thing I look forward to most when I walk into a restaurant is a warm greeting, and Mo had a big friendly smile right when I opened the door. His customer service was incredible and made my experience in the restaurant delightful. The space was clean, organized, and it smelled amazing! I decided to take my food to go and got in my car. I planned to take a peek at the food and then drive home... but 10 minutes later and I'm still in the parking lot absolutely eliminating my chicken shawarma. This place is amazing!!! We were running errands in Bremerton and did a yelp search - this came up under Greek. My husband and I shared a few things for lunch. We had the gyro plate and a side order of falafel. The gyro meat was the best I have ever had. So tender with a beautiful flavor. It was covered lightly with yogurt sauce and served over rice. I was full and couldn't stop! The main dish included a side of hummus and a salad. We still had errands to run otherwise we would have bought more hummus to go! The Falafel were so good. They were freshly made and steamed when you opened them up. The flavor was just perfect. Great texture and moisture level. Served with more delicious yogurt sauce. The staff was really nice and the restaurant well run. I love supporting a restaurant as good as this one. Was really wanting this place for awhile. I'm not one to complain about food, let alone right a review but I have to. We went as a family after my fiancé got off work. My finance took a bite of her gyro, and found pieces of styrofoam. I take a bite as well, although it tasted pretty good, I had a piece of styrofoam in my mouth as well. My daughter got chicken nuggets and I'm not sure if they burnt the chicken or they just came dry. It sucks because I thought it tasted great but a styrofoam in the food is unacceptable.
