Flavor wise they're probably pretty similar but Mason's had less lobster meat than Angie's. With Mason's being more expensive the value just isn't there. I will say though the lobster bisque was really good and reminded me of one of my favorite spots in San Diego. Service wise, the staff were super friendly and the customer service was top notch as far as counter service goes. One plus is that it is located in a shopping area some nice shops.

You can enter your phone number to sign up for their rewards program, which gets you $5 off your next purchase. We got a number card and grabbed a table against the wall. Our waters and latte came out pretty quickly, and it didn't take long for our food to arrive afterwards. The presentation of the plates is lovely and appealing. I enjoyed my sweet dish; the tart strawberries were a nice complement to the rich chocolate Nutella, providing a balance of flavors. I finished my food and it was surprisingly filling. She ordered the avocado and jalapeños it comes with on the side. She had mixed feelings about it. The bacon seemed to overpower the other flavors, and she didn't get much of the truffle taste she was expecting. For drinks, my daughter had the Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte and loved it. I ordered the Spritz à Paris, made with Prosecco, orange bitters, and sparkling water. It was light, refreshing, and paired nicely with dinner. At this one, the mural is awesome -- it pays homage to vehicles from past television shows. (See how many you recognize! I laughed pretty hard at Thomas the Tank Engine since I watched that with my kids.) I am on a quest to try every sandwich from the Cheba Hut menu and I have worked my way through most of the main menu. I am mostly finishing up the vegetarian section before hitting the grilled cheese. (Peanut butter and honey on wheat is great, BTW!) I mention this because there is a "Secret Stash" menu and this shop features the "Bikini Bottom." When I ordered it, the cashier got excited because, "nobody orders that one!" Apparently, I am that guy. The Bikini Bottom: cream cheese, turkey, onions, pineapple, strawberry jelly, provolone, and bacon. I had it on the Parmesan herb bread with the jalapeño cream cheese option and it was quite tasty. I don't know what is wrong with people :D It is too bad that this location is so far from where I live, but it is nice to know that it is here for when I am far from home and need a "toasted" sandwich.
