Traditional Gyro Sandwich with generous meat portions

Fast friendly service with a drive-thru. The combo option is a great deal with the meat of your choice, fries, and a drink. Both the fries and amount of meat in the gyro was generous. I like a traditional gyro with tomatoes, onions, fries, and tzatziki sauce - just like you can get in Athens. Fries were served hot with plenty of spice. Definitely my go-to for fast, good gyros.

This place is definitely unique. It's the first time I've had fast-food Greek food and i was shocked at how quick and delicious it was for the cheap prices. They even have a drive though! Thanks for the military discount as well! Well done and I will definitely be back.

Where I live there is a Turkish fast food stand in a mall. Other than that the only place to get döners or gyros is at restaurants. Even in the US it not common to find fast food joints serving gyros (or döners/shawarmas). Not sure why because it is ideal fast food. Nothing like a tasty gyro with fries and a soda. Mixes things up a bit from the standard burgers and fried chicken. That is why I love Gyroz. I wish there were more like it. Anyway, this Gyroz is conveniently located off the 225 and is adjacent to the DoubleTree-Aurora. I was staying there. All I had to do was walk a few feet to pickup a tasty gyro sandwich combo. They also have drive-thru. Service was friendly and the food came out fast. And most importantly, it was good. At first it did look plain, but then I realized all the stuff was under the meat. I do wish it had more tzatziki, though. In addition to the gyro, they also have falafels, Greek salad, chicken, hummus, and baklava among other stuff. Well worth checking out if you want something different when it comes to fast food. They also deliver via Grubhub.

No need to be fancy sometimes. But a good gyro hits the spot. This little place serves fast and gluten free for us celiac folks. The fries are tasty and the number one goes along way. I get mine as a platter. Hubby says the pita has a great chew. The veggies are always fresh and cut super thin to match the meat. For a fast food joint I'll give it a 5 for the quick and easy bite.

YUM! My only issues were the kinda crazy access to the restaurant, and that I wish they offered hummus as a side item for their sandwiches, or heck, falafel by itself! In other words, minor picky things. Either way, I'm kinda a falafel freak and theirs is REALLY tasty! Telling all my friends about this place so they can go and keep them busy. This place is so good! The gyro is perfect - soft pita bread, tender and delicious meat, ripe tomatoes and onions, tasty sauce, with a base layer of golden fries. It all goes together so well, I love it! If you get a combo, I recommend substituting a side salad for the fries. It's a good size Greek salad and comes topped with onion, tomato, feta cheese, cucumber, carrots, olives, with dressing on the side. It's a nice healthy alternative to fries, if you're into that kind of thing. The only thing I have gotten here that I wouldn't recommend 100% is the falafel - it's a little dry and a bit strange for some reason, but maybe it's just me. Other than that, I can't say enough about this place or recommend it highly enough! read more

Had on 1/28/15. Greek folk working that night. Delicious gyro that reminded me of a European trip. Had again on 1/29/15 non Greek folk working. Chewy Beef n Lamb literally. Both nights order not exactly prepared as requested. Was excited to actually find something good in Aurora either way. I will continue to drive to find good food in Denver. I will try this place once more to see if it is a certain night or cook situation for good measure. I don't like to TKO off of one bad experience. read more

I love myself some good and fast Greek food, this place does not hit the mark for me. The gyro meet was super dry and the pita did not taste real fresh. The food seemed to be frozen or re heated. Probably won't try again, as there is many great places in the Denver metro area for good Greek. read more

My husband & I cannot stop eating these Gyro Sandwiches, we're averaging at 2 times a week - yikes!! I just moved here last week and one of the moving guys suggested this place. He raved about the beef and lamb gyro. So I decided to give it a try last night. The drive-thru attendant Chris was helpful and friendly. The gyro...one of the best I've ever had! The fries were pretty good too. I didn't finish the gyro because I ate the fries first. The helpings were generous for the price that was paid, which was quite reasonable. I've already suggested Gyroz to quite a few people. I WILL be back! read more

I've been searching far and wide across Colorado for the perfect Gyro and Gyroz has the best lamb/beef Gyros I've had easily and their hummus is very very tasty and I recommend you get some to smear on your sandwich. The fries are always hot and fresh and the perfect crispy outside and warm mushy potato on in the inside, the employees are very friendly, fast and courteous. Their salads are good and so are the falafals in any form. The sauce is the perfect consistency and perfectly spiced without being too salty as many of them are. Please do yourself a favor and stop in (nice little seating area with some flat screens) or do the fast drive thru (I grab drive through to bring with me to the brewery Dry Dock down the road). Prices are great and so is the food. TLDR: as good as it gets, fresh, fast, friendly, fun read more

Been craving a Gyro for weeks but didn't want to make a trip to Pete's in Denver. Man I'm glad I saved to gas and found this gem while in Aurora. It definitely fulfilled my craving. The gyro meat delicious. The tzatZiki sauce was perfect. The pita was great and the service was quick and friendly. I could have done without the fries or amount of onions in my gyro but the afore mentioned items made up for that. Also I could have done without the fries but because yelp doesn't have 1/2 stars, Gyroz is getting my first 5! read more

Great gyros and great service. The meat is delicious and is spit roasted. It's not that sliced fake crap that I've had at other places. This is the real deal. I would know, I've had gyros in Greece. I've been to GyroZ several times and at different times during the day. Consistent quality of product and consistent quality of customer service. What more can you ask for. read more

I only use the drive-thru to get the gyro sandwich when I go... two of them. This is the only place in Aurora I will go to get a gyro sandwich. I love their gyro, plus they're always so friendly here. Other places I've sampled are pretty mediocre. read more

Honestly, I'll probably come back here for lunch next time I'm in Aurora just because of him. He's welcoming, funny, and clearly loves working with people. This is one of those places where you pick your ingredients from the counter behind the glass, and Marcus is not shy about making recommendations. I love that. The peeps working here know the food best, so I usually just go with whatever is recommended. Hot sauce? Sure! Actually their hot sauce is pretty hot and Marcus will try to warn you. Spent $20 with a $2 tip, food was good and we have been coming here 2 times a month since they open a few years back. They give you your drink now and I asked for a refill and they told me we don't do refills anymore because of Covid! I said can I get a new cup like every other restaurant does and the gal said she has to charge me $2.10 plus tax for another cup! WOW! REALLY! The cost of another cup including ice and soda is about $.05. Management needs to look at this decision because this store is better than that! Great place to come for lunch. We got lucky and got here when there wasn't a lot of people so we were able to find a parking spot. The parking lot isn't too big but neither is the restaurant. I had the greek salad and it was absolutely amazing! I had asked for no meat, only because I've gotten a bit picky with meat during pregnancy but they must've forgotten and loaded me up! We've been coming here since it opened. The food is good. Unfortunately, this place is using COVID as an excuse not to offer free refills on drinks. We have been to several restaurants and all of them offer a new cup for a free refill. They unlike this restaurant are keeping their customers happy in an already tough time. She was literally running around nonstop and sweating so much that she looked like a football player trying to take on an entire team by herself. There were only about four customers inside, yet the operation was complete chaos. A customer before me had ordered a pizza that was made incorrectly, and after waiting 25 minutes, she demanded a refund because she still didn't have a proper order. Meanwhile, I waited 28 minutes for my chicken wraps and still had nothing. At that point, I requested a refund and left. What made the situation even worse was seeing the owner sitting outside casually chatting and sipping water with someone for the whole time that actually was also an employee while all of this was happening. The hardworking girl even went outside to ask for help, but instead of stepping in, the owner sent her back inside to handle refunds and continue preparing orders by herself. On top of that, the restaurant itself didn't leave a great impression. There was a large object sitting in the dining area covered with what appeared to be a plastic sheet, with parts sticking out from the sides. It looked out of place and gave the restaurant an unfinished, neglected appearance. If this has been sitting there for a while, it should have been addressed long ago. Customers shouldn't have to look at covered equipment or storage items while trying to enjoy a meal. This is absolutely ridiculous. I genuinely hope that young woman finds a better job with better pay because she deserves it. She was the only person making any effort to keep the place running. The owner needs to understand that running a restaurant isn't just about serving food. Customer service, supporting your staff, and maintaining a welcoming dining environment come first. Until that changes, I can't recommend this place to anyone.
