I was excited to try this new restaurant and I was not disappointed!! The ambiance and decor is great! We ordered black pepper beef udon and really enjoyed it. We also ordered the hot pot with shabu shabu, ribeye and added shrimp. It was delicious, especially with the flavorful dipping sauces! Such a large portion too! We tried 3 appetizers: the bbq rolls, the potato wrapped shrimp and gyoza and all were super delicious! The service was friendly and quick. I'm glad to have a unique place like this in the area! They don't have alcohol...yet. That would be a nice addition! I hope people go and enjoy so they stick around a long time. read more

Really great food! We got the salmon carpaccio, potato string shrimp, wagyu tataki and the 12 oz angus ribeye zen that came with udon soup and then paid $1 extra to get the purple potato tempura. The salmon was so fresh. And on top of red onions and a cucumber slice with each piece of. The wagyu tataki was presented the same way. Really super tender beef. I was so glad to try wagyu. The sauces that came with everything were delicious and truly complemented the meal. Now, the potato wrapped shrimp! Really fantastic! Tender shrimp with a beautifully crispy potato string shell. Really tasty! The fun part tho is finishing up the cooking of the 12 oz steak on a rock at the table. Again, super tender beef. The udon soup was really tasty. Good noodle texture. And I have to recommend the purple tempura potatoes. Great flavor and great texture. The iced teas we got, white peach oolong and passion lemon,(no alcohol served here) tasted reminiscent of orange Julius! Really yummy! Super nice staff. Super clean place. Worth the money. since they've opened last year i've gone just about 10 times and enjoyed it every single time, the pork hot pot was my favorite and i was happy to have something like this in the av. without realizing they had redone their whole menu, i went in expecting to have my usual pork hot pot only to be disappointed and heart broken. i don't understand why they got rid of not only the hot pot (they still offer beef shabu shabu which i ended up ordering but it does not compare to the pork) but they also got rid of the wagyu/hot stone :( i'm super sad that they got rid of these items to replace them with sushi, which is something you can get anywhere else in the av. they really had something special at first! oh well, it was good while it lasted :( read more

Pleasantly surprised to find a place like this in Lancaster, though it's not like I've had much eating experience in Lancaster. Quite affordable compared to LA. We had a chicken katsu curry udon + a chicken katsu set (which came with a free drink). I wasn't that impressed by the potato salad, but it was overall pretty solid. Good portions. The food is pretty good but it is overpriced and the service is often missing. Hard to know if they're open or closed because there is just no one manning the front of house. They charge extra for every single little thing. A tiny amount of chili paste is extra. Idk. I wish this area had more options. read more

2 star service 1 Star for the food. No beer/wine/saki here. Ok let's start with we all went for dinner and it was a 1st for all of us & we have all been excited to try this new place:) 4 of us ordered Shabu and it was the worst Shabu I have ever had. They brought a gas small cooker to the table then bring you a small bowl fresh out of a refrigerator ice cold broth with a few veggies and cabbage leaves a bit of mushroom,2 pieces tofu, 1 mini carrot, 2 strips of onion and udon noodles already submerged in the cold both that has been pre-made and sitting in a fridge for a few days .$2 extra for some old dried up rice. Tasteless miso broth.no other choice of broth, boring sauces, no extras of nothing. Sad thing is you cannot offer Shabu Shabu if you're not going to give the whole Shabu experience. This was like a bad hotpot but arrived cold. I got 4 slices of ribeye, yes that's it just 4 slices SMH. Tables were too small to cram 8 people (should have been 6) or just 2 people to a booth when eating Shabu. This place is small with bright lighting and no atmosphere at all. Reminded me more of a fast food place. Or a wooden sauna. I ordered the cucumber salad but for $6 it was sadly pathetic. The cucumber was the length of my finger and the width cut up into 12 tiny pieces and stacked on top of each other with a non descript drizzle of something . Never seen a dish so small, looked cute but that was about it. Itthe cucumber salad was half the size of a Rubic's cube. Two others ordered steak that was just starting to turn bad,who knows how long that had been sitting in the fridge. I could smell it was tainted when it was being cooked on the hot stone, smh. Waitress was not too bad she did her best I guess and kept it together. None of the 8 of us will be returning here. No Fresh food at all ... Food just not that great...very average. We were attended to and given just the right amount of attention without feeling bothered. The chef was kind enough to send us out an item that is not yet on the menu for us to try and it was amazing! The food was very good. And the portions were ample to say the least. I was a little overwhelmed by the menu. There was an older gentleman serving or helping serve who seemed like he may be ownership or management. He was very kind and nice but he didn't seem to have much service experience. The place just opened though, and I don't hold this against them. The food was really good. We started with the bbq egg rolls. They were really good. For entrees we chose the wagyu beef shabu shabu and the Tonkotsu broth spicy with pork belly. They were also really good. The dessert was not very good. It was there macha something. We also wish they served beer which they said they will have the license in a few weeks. All in all the Antelope Valley needs more of these places. The owners clearly care and the food is really good. Went for a date night with my husband after I saw that this place had opened. Japanese food is one of my favorites. We got the Nabemono with the Shabu Shabu stock, the Wagyu, the Gyoza, and the Japanese Cake Roll. All was super good. Enjoyed cooking on the hot stone. Decided to give this new place a try. We ordered- Fried oysters - meh nothing special. Bland served cabbage shreds and some mayo dip. Ribeye hot stone - just a regular piece of meat with a piece of carrot and broccolini of some sort. Also served with rice and salad. Nothing special. Udon Curry Noodles- Udon noodles with a watery curry sauce and loads of onions. On tops was an odd bland puree of mashed potatoes. For $18 dollars it could have had meat. Hot Pot - we ordered two meats with the shabu sauce. Normally the meat is served raw and cooked in the hot soup, but the meat was already cooked and got overcooked in the hot soup. The broth was bland and had a tiny bit of vegetables and tofu. Yuzu Cheesecake - it was the size of my palm. The tiniest piece of cheesecake I've ever been served at a restaurant. I believe this cost us $6 This place was really nice on the inside. The service was okay, until she said if we needed a new hot stone it's another $25?? Our total bill with one drink was $120. We were still hungry afterwards. Unfortunately we will not be returning or recommending. Too expensive and not the best quality food. read more

The food here was super good and flavorful, came out super fast, had such great service. I ordered the spicy beef hot pot and beef katsu, as well as a side of spicy edamame. Both entrees paired super good with each other. The meats in both dishes were good quality and the katsu was seasoned well. This is the type of food and quality i'd typically have to drive out to scv or the valley for and i'm so happy I found a place to go back to that's local. It was our first time here and everything we ordered was good. The tonkatsu was very soft and tender just like the ones we ate in Japan. This was my favorite. My husband loved the tuna katsu. He's hoping they can improve the katsu sauce - it's because he misses the ones he's tried in Japan lol. The pepper beef udon was ok, but I forgot to say no onions because I don't like onions so I had to pick it out. Now I know for next time. I ordered the peach milk tea and that was good too. Next time I will try the matcha milk tea. We plan to come back to try more menu items, there's so much to choose from. I like a shabu-shabu that is one reason went there. I went there with my parents since a shabu-shabu restaurant opened in Antelope Valley. First of all, I ordered Takoyaki and Potato string Shrimp to start, and taste was good - I satisfy for tasting. and I ordered Nabemono - shabu-shabu for my parents and yosenabe for myself. It was good as I expected it. The price of pots and dishes were reasonable (considering current inflation). and most importantly, service was not bad. it was great.
