Cool little corner spot with wrap around patio seating. Of course there's indoor seating as well, but the charm is the outdoor patio. This is the place to come for food that makes your mouth light up with excitement but not your waist size. I'm talking a heavy breakfast burrito and fried chicken sandwiches. Brunch rules: you literally have to wait in line until it's your turn for a table. I can see how this can be off putting when it's v hot. Inside, tables are very squished so you can easily eavesdrop on your neighbor. The music is a tad too loud and uncomfortable, so you find yourself repeating many a questions and answers. My friend and I shared the following: -buttermilk fried chicken sandwich ($13): swiss cheese, pickles, spicy slaw, aioli sandwiched in a brioche bun + green salad -short rib hash ($17): two eggs, short rib, potatoes...maybe onions? Some greens. -deviled eggs ($6 for 4 pieces): topped with bacon, pickle relish, house made hot sauce + herbs To be honest, everything tasted like something your friend would make for the first time for a dinner party - a little unrefined and a little lackluster. This was true for the deviled eggs + short rib hash. It would be good, except your friend didn't make it and we had to pay money for the dishes. I have to admit that the fried chicken sandwich was delicious. All the toppings were very complementary and the brioche bun was a magical addition. Did not know you could add yourself to a wait list. They did comp us a free order of fries for the wait. My one downside was the food did not come out at the same time. One meal came when all the rest of the party was done with their meals. But again, they comped us for that. Food was good and prices are fair. The wait staff also wore masks and didn't hover over the tables. The distance between the tables are OK (could be better) but it's a small space and for the benefit of the doubt it's honestly ok. Wait time 4/5: Took about 30 minutes to get seated on a Saturday afternoon and only 20 minutes for the food to come out after ordering. Food 4.5/5: Country Style Burrito 4/5: It was an above average breakfast burrito. The peppers inside were my personal highlight. Chicken and Waffle 5/5: Was excellent. While it doesn't top Busy Bee's fried chicken & waffles in Atlanta, the chicken is fist-lickin' good. Why only 4 wittle stars you may ask? Well, we're thots for gravy and this chicken & waffles plate had none. If y'all would've had the pepper gravy, my yeehaw Texas girlfriend would've rated it a whole constellation. Cute little cafe in the lobby of the H Hotel in Korea Town LA. The neighborhood is a little sketch but this restaurant is nice. They had a parking lot with free parking. Ordering was easy. Just scan QR code for the menu, you order on the app, and also pay through the app. The server did greet us and take our drink order. I had the Chilaquiles with egg and sausage patty....really good. Decided to try out this place on a Friday around 8pm. We were literally the only ones in there. I was expecting it to be little more active for a Friday. The decor is bit hipsterish in my opinion, but I'm not here for the decor. The server was very attentive and explained the menu to us, answering all of our questions. Stopped by H Cafe for brunch because the wait was reasonable. Their food was delicious and I was so happy to see they have a mimosa flight on the menu! Everything is online! When you get there all you have to do is scan a QR code for the menu and you'll be able to order from the link that opens up as well. Your server brings our the food and stops by to ask if everything is ok but for the most part, you'll be able to do everything through your phone. The wait can be long but their Yelp waitlist is pretty accurate and updated me even when the waitlist was moving slower than usual. We walked to the side entrance where there was a sign saying to enter through the hotel entrance. When we got in, it was bumpin' There were people seated everywhere, was not too busy. It was about 1130 that time. But when we ordered and waited for food, it got really packed in there. Lots of conversation and laughter, great environment. If you're looking for somewhere quiet for brunch, this isn't the place. Good vibes and food was on point! I got the fried chicken breakfast sandwich with a side of fries. My boyfriend got the chicken and waffles with a side of onion rings. We both got lemonades that they make in house. It was tartly refreshing, so good!!! It was a little on the pricey side of things, but worth it for us. We had too much food!! Shouldn't have ordered sides!!! The sandwich was sooo good. The staff was super nice, approachable, and informative. They seemed fully staffed, but also still overwhelmed if that makes sense? Needless to say, I still appreciated the front of house's effort. At least the have free valet parking, I'll give them that! On yelp photos the restaurant look spacious, but it's actually pretty small. Our waitress was great! She was very attentive.
