I love how you can add your name on the Yelp waitlist so that you don't have to wait at the restaurant for a long time and put your name in ahead of time - huge plus! I would recommend doing this. The restaurant is located inside of a hotel and there is outdoor and indoor seating available right now. I did not see a parking lot so street parking was the only option (be careful and make sure to read signs for neighborhood parking because I saw a lot of people getting tickets after leaving the restaurant). Upon checking in, I was the first one in line according to Yelp waitlist but waited around 10 minutes to get seated. We ordered the smoked salmon eggwich and eggs benedict. *Note - the eggs benedict came with a side salad so if that's not what you want make sure to modify your side! The smoked salmon sandwich comes on a bagel with a side of tater tots. Pretty tasty! Overall, I would give the food 4/5 stars. Service was good; however, staff seems very busy so they don't check up on you too often. I put my name down on the Yelp waitlist and it was a seamless process since I hadn't made reservations in advanced! The hostess was very nice and seated us when it was our turn. The whole ordering process is on your phone which is pretty cool but we still had someone come check up on us and make sure everything was going good! Her name is Ashley and she is fantastic! Now onto the food. Everything was absolutely delicious. The breakfast burrito is so unique with fried chicken and Caramelized onions. I just wish there was a bolder taste to the dish but honestly not complaining. It went well with the guacamole on the side. Avocado toast. Classic! The sunny side up egg on the top was delicious, avocado fresh, nice addition of micro greens. The best for last-- we had the French toast sampler. Thankfully I added this because they are masters of French toast. We got the Nutella one which is FILLED with Nutella not just drizzled. Wanted to expand from our favorite breakfast spots in LA and try something new. After doing some research I came across H Cafe. It had good reviews and looked a bit unique. In the lobby of a hotel it seemed to be recently updated playing upbeat dance music, definitely an LA type place. You order through your phone or a kiosk, although its probably a modern way of service we will need to get used to... I'd prefer a waiter/waitress. Food was decent, nothing to write home about. Great service and seamless dining experience. The food was great - very typical delicious LA brunch. honestly really loved the exterior aesthetic of the location, it's what pulled us in. We came in, and were led to a table really quickly. The staff is very efficient and keep checking in regularly to make sure all is good. They ask if the food is good and if it was to our satisfaction. This is my second time coming here and both experiences were great. I fall in love with their interior every time. My boyfriend and I came for lunch yesterday with our puppy. The eggs benedict was good overall -- i ordered it with heirloom tomato and smoked salmon but due to volume, only heirloom tomato was heard. It was very good, but the eggs were way overdone. If they can poach the eggs correctly, this would be a top benedict for me. Now the fried chicken sandwich was great. I added the habanero hot sauce that they had to it to give it a bit more flavor, but the fries with the old bay mayo was choice. Parking: we were there on a day where the parking lot was full, which Joey mentioned never happens. However, parked at a meter right in front and just refilled every hour for only $1/hr. If your a brunch lover like me, take your business anywhere else. I am not paying premium overpriced French toast that has sat out for over 40 min. Came here for brunch! This place is really nice and fancy. The seating and structure of the place is great. I love the color scheme they have going. They also have free parking so you don't have to worry about driving around to look where to park. The only thing i found kind of off was that you had to to up to the front desk to order. If im not mistaken it was because of the time we went? Im not too sure. And the only reason why I didnt give the full 5 stars was because our server was a bit dry. She was attentive but showed no friendliness or even smiled. We came here for lunch on a Tuesday no reservation needed and no wait. Got seated right away around 12:45pm. Outdoors. I had the Iced Americano, breakfast burrito and the works pancakes for to-go. Iced americano was good and breakfast burrito was ok. The pancakes when I got home was missing the fruits and whipped cream like the photo. So that was disappointing.
