I go to this H-E-B mostly to just grab some emergency something. There are several H-E-B selections and right now this one is not my favorite in my neighborhood. The H-E-B had what it needed but it's also about service. I let's just say the service was in question. But thanks for the

Until the HEB closest to me gets better organized in its new space, this location will be my go to. Just too darn much walking for these old knees at the other location just down the road. This smaller location is just a lot easier for me. Plus the aisles are marked and the people are very nice and helpful.

Store needs a major renovation as other H‑E‑Bs in the area have gotten. The floor and shelves are filthy and in very poor shape. The parking lot is also littered with trash and tons of mystery spills. The general area feels unsafe and if you look up crime reports for that area there is a lot of theft/ burglary/ robbery reported. The library next door has a security officer. Maybe the H‑E‑B needs one as well.

Seth the guy at curbside is just amazing. No matter what happens (item out of stock, one time they missed some items, ect.) he is always more than happy to help. Normally everything runs smoothly but stuff happens, we are all human. I don't think I would continue to shop at this H‑E‑B if he and others like him weren't there to help. I guess unless he's given a promotion that he so clearly deserves. Easy access to food is something most of us take for granted, I feel lucky to have the curbside team, especially Seth, at this H‑E‑B there to make it fast and easy.

While I love HEB, this one seems to he an after thought. In the morning they block the entrance/exit making you drive a longer way around. They tend to be out of stock of items more often than the other HEBs we use. The staff is still friendly and it is clean, it is a smaller HEB if that is your thing. If the huge HEBs are too much this may be for you. As a backup HEB it is fine.

Well, this is probably the best TJ's in the Austin area due its size and variety of healthy, eco-friendly products, so if you've not yet had the pleasure to visit, here's why you should: 1. Yes, it's in downtown at Seaholm but you get 1 hour of free, validated, protected garage parking right outside the basement doors. When you come in the garage, go forward and loop around to the left side to reach the marked TJ spaces. In 2025, you validate by entering your license plate number in the Metropolis kiosk - it's a breeze. 2. Bring an insulated bag for frozen items. TJ's has an impressive selection of high quality frozen seafood and prepared meals, appetizers, sides, and desserts that you won't find anywhere else at these prices. Lately my favorites are the assorted dumplings and other dim sum fare. Oh, and get ready for some fun on the freezer aisle, where you'll be tempted by all manner of sweet treats stored at eye level above the freezers. 3. Seasonal, limited edition items. Early summer was lemon season with lemon pasta, lemon pesto, lemon body care, lemon candles, and so on. My most recent visit, it was strawberry everything: tiny pies, mochi, dry cereal, etc. At Christmas time, my friends go wild for the kringle pastry selection. There's always something that will only be around for a few days, so you feel like you've struck gold when you get there before it's all gone. 4. Seasonings and sauces. TJ's has some of the best spice blends and prepared sauces that will punch up your home cooked meals. I am obsessed with the crunchy chili onion oil and dry crunchy chili onion sprinkle shaker, living in anxiety that they will be retired. 5. The nicest people! Everyone working seems to have a PhD in customer service. I always leave with a smile on my face after dealing with the friendly checkout counter staff person. There's even more to love - fresh flowers! awesome skincare dupes! great produce & cheese! excellent low cost wines! - but you'll need to come in & experience it for yourself. Bring your reusable bags!

There is 2 hour validated parking under the building so you can shop without worry. I consistently come here for the TJ brand of Greek yogurt with fat and honey flavor, and for their canned sparkling wines which I just personally find fun. The staff are always friendly, true to the TJ culture. And the little area around outside is cute and nice to get a snack or some dessert nearby.

After years of frustration at Walgreens, it's a breath of fresh air to be dealing with staff members who know how to treat their customers. Contrary to another review, they usually have fresh fruit on hand; bananas in a basket and prepared fruit cups. They have a fair selection of beer, wine, soft drinks and coffees. They have sandwiches and other prepared food (e.g. giant $4 burritos) in the cooler. One time I had to ask for toilet paper and the guy brought it out from the back room. I suppose it took up too much space on the shelf. This is the alternative to Royal Blue, which has even higher prices, although Royal Blue makes some food in-house. On the whole, I prefer Second Street because Royal Blue has a weird vibe and some weird brands and this place is a regular store.

Honestly unremarkable. An independent convenience store that knows it can charge more because of where it is. The staff were friendly enough, but the stock was kind of limited. That might be due to so many people being in town that week but they seemed to run out of drinks fairly quickly. It's also no fault of the store but it's worth mentioning right in front of their doors seems to be a popular hangout for Austin's homeless. I don't think we managed a single visit here without being asked for change. If you need a quick snack they are in a great location, just don't expect an overly pleasant visit.

Both of the meats I decided on were extremely delicious in flavor and the beef was exceptionally tender. I got red and green salsa and it appears that the red salsa is a tad bit creamy, which is not something I've had many times before. It was unique and extremely tasty. As for the green salsa, I have yet to try, but I am sure it won't disappoint. I do want to give this place praise because I have passed it up before, but it is not a place to be looked over. There's so many other goodies in here that you won't find at a regular grocery store so it's definitely worth coming inside and checking out especially if you just want something to do. The people were so nice exceptional customer service. There is seating if you want to eat inside and they were playing good music. I almost forgot to mention how exceptional the sides were.
