Stopped in for dinner and had some of the best scallops I've ever had, which is a a lot as it's a favorite. The wife ordered Beef Wellington and only had good things to say about it. The Main Street margarita is fantastic as well. It's a little on the pricey side, but that's what you can expect from any high end steak house. Well worth it. I read that review about Ben and the bar service and honestly... I had to check if we were talking about the same place. Ben isn't just "the bartender" -- he's basically the mayor of the bar. The guy remembers everyone's name like it's his full-time job, introduces people like you're at a VIP networking event, and somehow keeps the whole place feeling like one big group hang. It's kind of impressive and slightly suspicious (in a good way). The drinks they make are tasty as well! The reviewer George must have a child's palette. As a regular, I can say the vibe here is exactly why people come back. Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere, and a bar that actually feels alive, not some awkward sit-in-silence situation. So I don't know what happened with George, but calling out Ben is wild. That's like going to a concert and complaining about the music. Boo, George. My wife and i came with some friends for her 30th birthday. Parking was very difficult. We were about 15 minutes early and ended up being almost late due to having to park far away. Our drinks were great and we got Calamari as an app which was also fantastic. Our service was good as well. I got the 10oz Filet and it was just chewy and not great flavor. very underwhelming for a steakhouse. My wife got the Ahi Tuna. The Tuna was great but the rice had so much wasabi in it that it was not edible. One bite and you had to chug water and our mouth was still burning after that. Also no complimentary birthday desert for her 30th after spending well over $300 was kind of a bummer as well. What a fabulous restaurant! My husband and I went this week for our anniversary and we had a wonderful celebration! The hostess seating us welcomed us with congratulatory wishes. Our waiter Christopher was so engaging and took pictures and a video for us to toast with their amazing cocktail, The Golden Hour, best martini I've ever had! Henry( as in H Steakhouse) owner and hands on in the kitchen came to the table to share his anniversary wishes! We had the filet special and it did not disappoint! Beef Wellington and Filet Steaks were delicious. Would prefer to be able to sub sides out especially since they are priced equally. We went this past Friday and had a great experience. Christopher, our server, was excellent - just the right amount of being there but leaving us alone. He was helpful with recommendations. My husband and I both had ribeyes which were perfectly cooked and very tender. The bread appetizer was delicious and would do two orders next time because I don't want to share any! The music was a bit loud but not unbearable - would have been better if it were a lower volume. I didn't look at reviews ahead of time but it appears we aren't the only ones that had issues with the volume. There was a minor snafu with our order and I attribute that to Christopher not being able to hear my husband. Our only complaint was with the parking. We did valet and had to wait a lengthy amount of time for the car to come (it was cold that night). We were the only people leaving at that time but lots of people arriving. The food was delicious, licked out plates clean. but the service and wait time was ultimately why i couldn't give a 5 star review. we waited 45 minutes for our appetizer of bread... which was 6 little pieces for $13. we had plastic water cups and when we cut our steaks the entire table shook. if i'm spending over $200 on a meal i would expect top notch glassware and not spending time on waiting for mediocre bread. the atmosphere was great and aesthetic. read more

Had dinner at H this last weekend. Everything was excellent.... service (Bri) did an amazing job taking care of us ...she checked on us and was engaging in conversation but not too invasive!! Food was over the top terrific!! We had the shrimp appetizer and they were huge, both had filets that my husband claimed was the best steak he has ever had, the sides included were mashed potatoes and brocolini and they were great!! To be fair only open 2 weeks. Food was excellent. Service was mediocre at best. $65 steaks and plastic glassware. Screaming toddlers everywhere. Waited an hour for food after salad. Music was obnoxious and so loud we could not talk to each other. Who wants to listen to crappy music and screaming kids when paying that kind of money. My head was ringing when we got out 2 hours after we arrived. Parking is nonexistent. Have to use parking garages. No one ever came by to express their appreciation for our patience. No public relations whatsoever. They need a professional manager who understands fine dining. For the money, I'm a fan of 1933 in Carmel. No kids, no loud nonsense. The service was fantastic Evan is the main reason to return. The food was good, from the steak to the salmon and everything in between! It was a little loud but it is nice to have something upbeat in Westfield. However the biggest downside and let down were the drinks. The cocktail tasted terrible and watered down. Also using standard ice instead of block or large ball makes you feel like you are at a cheap college bar. The wine menu is very limited and Napa heavy, it really deters away from the concept of being Mediterranean. The strangest part of all, the water glasses are acrylic/plastic. I hope someone reads this and takes it seriously, fixing the drink/bar side will really make it standout but right now it's a major let down. read more

Exceptional Staff Undone by One Unprofessional Ownership Interaction My spouse and I recently visited H Steakhouse and left deeply disappointed, not because of a simple mistake in the kitchen, but because of how that mistake was handled by management. I want to begin by recognizing that our experience was not negative across the board. Before dinner, we spent time at the bar and enjoyed a couple drinks. The bartenders were outstanding, friendly, attentive, and professional. Our server was equally excellent throughout the evening. Both provided the level of hospitality you would expect from a quality steakhouse, and we tipped both well over 25 percent because their service genuinely deserved it. Unfortunately, the experience unraveled once our entrées arrived. After waiting well over an hour for our steaks, both were significantly more done than the medium rare temperature we had ordered. We expected a warm red center. Instead, both steaks had hot pink centers throughout with no hint of red, making them much closer to medium than medium rare by any steakhouse standard we have experienced. We politely asked that the steaks be remade. At that point, Nick, the owner's son, came to our table. Rather than listening to our concerns or simply allowing the kitchen to correct the issue, he immediately took a confrontational and argumentative approach. He repeatedly insisted that the steaks were cooked correctly the first time and proceeded to explain why we were wrong about our own order. To be clear, we were not demanding a refund, creating a scene, or asking for anything unreasonable. We simply requested that our steaks be cooked to the temperature we had ordered. Before Nick arrived, we were perfectly willing to wait for the steaks to be remade and were prepared to continue enjoying our evening. What changed was the interaction itself. Nick informed us that the steaks would be remade, but not before lecturing us about how incorrect we were. His tone was dismissive, condescending, and remarkably unprofessional. In the hospitality industry, there is a significant difference between disagreeing with a customer and arguing with one. Telling paying guests that they are wrong while refusing to acknowledge their concerns is not customer service. The irony is that the kitchen's mistake was entirely recoverable. Steaks can be recooked. Orders can be corrected. Most customers understand that. What cannot be easily corrected is making guests feel disrespected and unwelcome. By the time the conversation ended, the evening had been so thoroughly soured by Nick's behavior that we chose to leave without eating dinner at all. Not because the steaks needed to be remade, but because the manner in which we were treated made it clear that our business and feedback were not valued. It is especially unfortunate because the bartenders and our server worked hard to create a positive experience and represented the restaurant exceptionally well. They were professional, accommodating, and deserved every dollar of the gratuity they received. The only negative interaction of the evening came from the person who should have been setting the standard for customer service. A premium steakhouse should deliver more than good food. It should deliver professionalism, hospitality, and respect when issues arise. H Steakhouse failed in that regard. We arrived expecting an enjoyable evening and were more than willing to work through a simple kitchen mistake. Instead, we left hungry, disappointed, and shocked by the behavior of someone representing ownership. The overcooked steaks were a problem. Exactly what Westfield needed! This place is great! The food... the steaks are so delicious, juicy, tender, & tasty. The Asiago Crusted Chicken is fantastic... rich, creamy & full of flavor. This place is AMAZING! The food and service were exceptional. Savanah was so attentive and recommended great drinks and entrees. My wife had the French 75 and I had an old fashioned. Both were masterfully crafted. As far as food, the house salad is a must, the Korean Short Ribs are gift from God to your mouth, a flavor so deep and rich I almost cried.
