Me and friend are in town for a work event and decided to eat here last night. We are very glad we picked this spot. One downside, they had a very limited beer selection. However, their upside is the extensive wine and cocktail list. We started off with the Crostini appetizer. My friend ordered the Scallops and I had the Berkshire Pork Chop. We also ordered shareable sides of Mashed Potatoes and Mac & Cheese. My Pork Chop was excellent with a perfect char and tender, cooked Medium. The Mac & Cheese was the best side. Our service was fantastic. The place is upscale with a casual vibe and would be a great date night restaurant or somewhere to entertain clients.

This was a slightly above average meal. I had heard great things about this place, but wasn't blown away by my experience there. My cocktail was very good, but the soup was so hot that it burned my tongue even after letting it cool. My husband got the beef Wellington and he thought it was tasty but rather expensive for the small portion. I had the filet mignon, which is standard for me when I go out to a steakhouse, but it wasn't exceptional. The ambience was nice, but the patrons were wearing everything from jean shorts to being dressed up for a night on the town. I don't think I'll be back anytime soon.

An upscale steakhouse in Westfield. Beautiful inside and out, wonderful ambiance. This place is unique, everything is grilled over a wood fire. The menu features several steaks including tomahawk, porterhouse, ribeyes, NY strip steak and filets. Also on the menu are lamb chops, pork chops, chicken, and more. There are three main dish salads. The Harvest salad is excellent, with grilled corn, avocado, mozzarella cheese, eggs, tomatoes, and bacon. The Italian Knots are amazing, served hot with seasoned butter and honey. Other appetizers include oysters, root beer glazed pork belly, shrimp and calamari. Seafood includes lobster, salmon, tuna, and red snapper. Service is excellent, especially for a newly opened restaurant. Valet parking is available.

Best steak house in Indiana, maybe the best in Midwest! Been to Elmo's, Anthony's, Morton, prime and all the others. None of them have anything on H - great great great! 8oz filet - 10 out of 10 16oz Ribeye 9.5 out of 10

We went on Thursday evening and the place was packed. Parking is hard to find but there's a parking garage nearby. Valet parking was also available for $5. Food was good. Staff was attentive but service was slow. From appetizer to entree, there was a bit of a long wait time. Calamari was bit overly fried I thought since it was chewier than other places. You can see in my picture. It looks overly fried. My entree was excellent but pasta was overcooked. H-Mac is a burger on a French bread that was served with some fries. We asked if we can upgrade to truffle fries but that wasn't allowed. I don't understand why they couldn't up charge few more bucks for it. All the other places do that. So we ended up ordering a truffle fries that wasn't all that great. Ended the night with brown butter cake and it is the best dessert you can have it out there! The restaurant is very spacious. I wanted to say it's a great place to celebrate a special day but it kinda sucked that they gave us a table by the entrance. I think they should put up some plants or divider imo. But that's just my luck.

Food was amazing. I had the lamb chops and my wife had filet on a salad. Service by Kate was wonderful. Ambiance was elegant yet relaxed.

They were very nice, sitting us quickly after our arrival for our reservation while there were people waiting. We then sat for 20 minutes before anyone asked us if we'd been helped yet. This was as the large group to one side of us, and others, saw their server 3 or 4 times. Since we had plenty of time to read the menus we put in drinks (Rosy Cheek & Old Fashioned) and an app (zucchini fries) as well as our entrees (salmon and pork belly, both with the wedge) The drinks were good! The old fashioned was slightly smaller than I'd want for $15 but it's Westfield. The zucchini fries were ok, the breading lacked flavor and we were charged $1 for an extra 1/2 ounce of aioli. The salmon had a spicier seasoning on it than we expected, but the orzo didn't have much? The pork belly was good, maybe a little more sauce than you'd expect but the sticky rice helped get most of it sopped up. In the end, it's not somewhere we'll come back. But the quality of food was good, just maybe it wasn't their night.

The food is truly out of this world. I hate mushrooms with a passion, but their mushroom bisque is probably one of the best soups I have ever had. I never thought I would say that about anything with mushrooms in it. The steak served on the hot plate is also such a great touch and makes the whole experience feel even more special. And the not so famous yet chocolate cake absolutely should be, because it is divine. We always leave happy and already talking about when we can come back. We also love the Italian house they own right next door, which is another great option when we are in the mood for something different. If you are looking for a perfect date night spot that feels cozy, thoughtful, and consistently delicious, Nylas is it. We never regret going.

I personally prefer the "patio" seating, which is covered/shaded, but it's so pretty when they pull the drapes up and you can look outside. This was our first time at 1933 Lounge. We are snobs when it comes to steaks and the way they are cooked. However, we were blown away at how good our steaks were. Each bite was perfectly seasoned, tender, and just melts in your mouth! I believe we ordered the USDA Prime Strip Steak and the Bone-in Dry Aged Ribeye with the Bearnaise sauce, but I feel like you can't go wrong with any of the steaks on their menu when it's cooked with such precision. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable about all items on the menu. Per his recommendation, we ordered the St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail with their spicy, signature cocktail sauce and the Crème Corn Brulee. For starters, the Crème Corn Brulee was unlike anything we've ever tried. The crunchy, caramelized top coat and sweetness of the corn went so well with our savory steaks. It's an absolute MUST-TRY!!! But back to the St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail. WHY would you not warn people that the spicy signature sauce consists of freshly grated horseradish? We took the biggest freaking bite of the shrimp with a heaping amount of sauce and just about died. I didn't know what to do with myself in that moment. My eyes were watering and my nasal passages felt like they were burning off. The saltine crackers definitely helped, but I was questioning every life decision in that moment. If you are a first-timer, PLEASE order the sauce on the side. DON'T BE LIKE ME AND GO IN BLINDLY FOR A LARGE BITE! There should be a warning label on the menu lol. It took me a few minutes to recover. Lastly, the lobster bisque was divine. Espresso martini was 10/10. I think we will be back in the future, but next time we will skip on the St. Elmo Shrimp cocktail.

We went for a 3:00 show on a Sunday such that by the time we got out, it was 6:00-still early. It was in the 30's outside and already dark (thanks DLS time). Yet as we reached the top of the stairs to the lobby I was immediately disappointed that there was no fire lit in the fireplace. There were only three parties in the place. One was around the corner in the adjoining sitting area and may or may not have been drinking. There were two couples at the bar, where we considered also sitting. But the only empty spot for two had two dirty drink glasses from a previous patron still sitting. So we opted for the leather couch and chair in the main area just across from the bar. And that's where we waited, and waited, for almost 30 minutes, before giving up on getting served (or acknowledged). There was only one bartender, so we were fine with going up to order but communication would have been helpful. We stood at the bar while she chatted with the two couples, who'd all been served. We couldn't really figure out what she was doing as she seemed busy-ish yet wasn't serving, or clearing, or washing, and we were chatting between ourselves and didn't really give it much thought. Then she said she was out of something and was leaving the bar to go fetch it. We asked her to let us know when she was ready to serve us, and we took our seats to resume our conversation. The bartender returned after a while, and she served one of the original couples ... for another 10 minutes at least. Again we were talking so, while an irritation, it was in the background. About 50 minutes into our visit, she came over and took our drink order. This was my third or fourth visit, and I'd ordered my drink, an old fashioned, before and knew what to expect: bourbon of choice, Luxardo cherry, and a dehydrated orange slice. Ten minutes later we got our drinks. Now mind you, my friend ordered a glass of wine. Nothing time consuming about that. She noted that her pour was smaller than the other times she'd been there. Mine came with the whisky cube already on its way to melted, a broken (a.k.a. piece of) cherry and a twist. What? Where's my glorious little crunchy orange wheel of goodness? I had spied them on the bar earlier. No soup for me! Also, and I can't be sure 100% sure of this, but I tasted neither bitters nor syrup. Was this really just a bourbon rocks? It took a minute but we realized this gal cannot tend and talk at the same time. My friend commented that she had no idea what will happen when the place gets busy, as it has been every other time I've been there. We left after 8:00, after one drink, and for me, $21 lighter. Yeah, it's pricey. And the Carmichael crowd is a discriminating one. So we expected better. Much, much better.

He's a semifinalist for the Best Chef: Great Lakes (IL, IN, MI, OH) category. What an honor! I'm curious to see if he gets the medal, but even if not, hopefully this recognition will draw people to visit Lone Pine, because people really need to visit. I don't know how Lone Pine would describe its menu, but I would call it elevated comfort food. One of the things my table ordered was chicken piccata. When was the last time you saw chicken piccata on a menu?! It was delicious, and served with mashed potatoes and lettuce leaves that added a nice, fresh crunch to each bite. We also got the roasted salmon, which was served with fingerling potatoes in a pesto sauce, with arugula on the side. This, too, was delicious and rich, yet fresh. I ordered the short ribs, which came with polenta and caramelized pearl onions. The short ribs were just fatty enough, and the sauce that they were surrounded by was unctuous and wonderful to eat with the polenta. I guess I should have started this review by writing about our first course! We got the French onion soup, bloody Mary wedge salad and the Caesar salad. The Caesar salad at Lone Pine is probably the best Caesar salad that I've eaten in Carmel, and maybe in all of the Indianapolis area. The thing that Lone Pine does differently and spectacularly is that they use breadcrumbs and not croutons. That makes all the difference! Granted, it does look a bit like a pile of pencil shavings on a plate, but sometimes the dowdiest foods are the best-tasting foods. The result is a satisfyingly salty, crunchy, creamy, crispy salad that I couldn't stop eating. I know I will be back to Lone Pine for the Caesar salad. We ended our meal by sharing two desserts: the apple pie panna cotta and the Lone Pine chocolate cake. Both desserts were amazing, but the cake won us all over because it looked deceptively heavy, but it was light and airy, and came with slightly sweet whipped cream. The service at Lone Pine is exceptional. They pay attention to detail here, and all of the little things are taken care of. Our server gave us just enough time between courses. Our water was refilled unobtrusively. We didn't get asked whether we've dined there before (because who cares?) and the menu wasn't over-explained (thank goodness, because I can indeed read). One thing we also noticed that we appreciated: The music was just loud enough to hear it, but not loud enough to notice it too much! It's these little things that come together to make a great dining experience.
