Chicken tacos Guacamole and chips Margherita pitcher

Just to be clear the restaurant is super cute, there is indoor and outdoor door seating. The outdoor seating is more spacious and includes a very mini water park vibe for kids and a few carnival like games so I would definitely recommend for families. The service is also prompt. The food however is mediocre. I sampled the black beans and rice which were cooked nicely but were very bland. The chicken tacos were "okay", the chicken was bland and didn't really seem grilled/charred to me. Which could be a preference thing but the chicken reminded me of baked chicken breast chopped into squares, and it lacked flavor. Luckily the salsa, guacamole and loads of hot sauce compensated for the lack of flavor from the meat. Someone in my party got the steak which they enjoyed but that was honestly it.

We were here for the Banksy. Which is inside and unfortunately behind a chain link fence. We stayed for lunch and it was fine. The Cubano was a different version void of pickles and Chipotle mayo added. It was cool to try a unique version and it was good. The house made salsa was fresh but a little bland, I liked the Al Pastor taco a lot but the others i was with said their food was a bit boring too. All in all a decent lunch and a view of an iconic street artists work.

Another hidden gem. Delicious food. Probably one of the best cubanos I've had. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend. They have a big outdoor area you can eat in as well. It was beautiful out.

This one of them spots that need to be in Magazine or something. I wish I would've wrote this review right after to get the full intensity down but here goes nothing. It's on the corner. Nice size spot. Indoor and outdoor seating. Ask about the specials. I went for one of the frozen daiquiris. $10. Mixed the Pina Colada with one of the others. They all Top shelf. Staff great. Food smacking. Like everything. Not one thing being okay. No everything was great that we ordered. One of the few spots I'm repeating when I come back

We loved it here so much that we ate here twice while vacationing in NOLA. The pork was cooked to perfection! And the tostones (fried green plantain) with the guacamole was delicious! The portions are huge. The staff is very nice too!

Roast pork taco on the left and fish taco on the right

The food was delicious . I had the roast pork taco which was marinated pork, which was a lot in the taco , came with cilantro , onions & homemade salsa verde on a soft corn tortilla. I also had the beer-battered catfish taco with pico de gallo, cilantro and homemade salsa verde was very good. We also tried the roast pork nachos which was also delicious. The only complaint was the initial ordering of the food took awhile. There was one person taking the orders and making the drinks like they definitely need two people in the front area. Thankfully the food did come out really fast. We actually waited in line longer to order food than to receive our food. Vibe was nice, drinks were good . Parking of course is hit or miss in front of the restaurant but not a surprise bc of where it's located. All in all we will be back.

Friendly service. Solid food. Frozen drinks. Indoor and outdoor seating. SPLASH PAD!!! I can s-a-y I brought my kid here to enjoy the splash pad while I slurp my frozen mojito and gobble down eggplant al pastor tacos, but let's be real... on a summer afternoon, that splash pad is just as much for me!

Spending so much time in New York, I've probably had better, but the food here is still good. This is a small chain (NOLA, Metairie, Baton Rouge, West Palm Beach), outfitted with neon, murals, and pink flowers. The menus are high tech and light up when you open them. We started with the queso fundido, with melted mozzarella, chorizo, pico de gallo, and microgreens. Comes with corn or flour tortillas. It was cheesy and tasted great. They also provide chips and a flight of three salsas. Salsas all had completely different flavors and spice levels, so I enjoyed that. Other options are guacamole (with or without short rib), plain queso dip, short rib bites, and oysters rockefeller. Selections include various tacos. I had the birria tacos, which are served in a dramatic fashion, hanging from a line over the tray, which contained the consomme, salsas, rice, and refried beans. They were juicy and savory and the accompaniments hit the spot. Though I've probably had better birria elsewhere . . . not sure you'll find any better or authentic anywhere in New Orleans. My husband had the fish tacos (ensenada), crispy and covered in cilantro, payo, pickled cabbage, avocado, and pico de gallo. The fish was light and the pickled slaw added just the right amount of brightness and acidity. They also have mushroom tacos, chicken, bone marrow wagyu, carnitas, shrimp, and more. They serve larger main dishes including fajitas, carne asada, barbacoa, burritos, enchiladas, and more. They have a great drink menu with the expected margaritas and mezcal as well as some fancy specialty drinks. I has the Hasta el Agua Del Florero, which is vodka, bombay, lemon juice, pineapple juice, and watermelon syrup. It was good, but also 20 dollars. The margaritas of course come a little cheaper at 13 bucks and are decent. Some people complained about service. It wasn't busy when we stopped in, but our server stayed on top of things, the table was always bussed, he kept checking to make sure everything was to our liking. We had no server issues at all. Not sure this would be the top of my list to try of all the choices in New Orleans, but not a bad choice if you're in the mood for a Taco Tuesday or some Mexican chow.

It features a great margarita garden with outdoor dining and takeout options. A quick heads-up: expect a line, and the outdoor waiting area has absolutely no shade. Fortunately, the ordering counter is well-covered, and the patio is equipped with fans and a good mix of shaded seating to help you beat the heat. On to the food. Every taco is served on a fresh flour tortilla and paired with classic cilantro, onion, and lime. I tried the Crispy Fish and the Pork tacos, and the flavor profiles were distinct. The fish taco featured a great crunch from the beer-battered Louisiana catfish, balanced by shredded cabbage, homemade crema, a seriously spicy salsa macha, and sweet pops of pomegranate. However, the pork taco was the best of the two, packed with savory roasted pork, chicharrones, tangy pickled red onion, and a great green salsa on the side. I have pretty high standards for tacos, and while I've had better, Barracuda definitely delivers an enjoyable meal in a city where great taquerias can be hard to find.
