I wil NEVER come back here again due to poor management. I ordered a tri tip sandwich but it was so undercooked, I couldn't bite through it. I took it back and the guy in a grey shirt behind the counter was all telling "the steaks are always cooked at medium". Being this my first time, I HAD NO IDEA. I told him I understand that but it was such a tough meat I couldn't eat it. He seemed upset at me, but offered to remake it. While waiting I ordered my daughter a cone and my sandwich happened to finish. He couldn't remember it was me who ordered it and again, didn't apologize for the poor food. He went to the register right after and was all smiles and good customer service with them. Hubby enjoyed his double char burger and my daughter liked her food. However because of that one person's poor attitude I will never go here or recommend it to anyone else. Edit: i was contacted by the manager. My Daughter Loves this place went this last weekend for the first time and was impressed. The lobby is packed full of people, one man was coughing up a storm and staff said nothing. It's busy I get it, but I made my order on doordash. My order was supposed to be ready at 1:30-1:35 it's almost 2:00. I don't think any of the restaurants have their order list prioritized. Dine in, take out, food app. Split your staff better. I wonder if the door dash, uber eats, grub hub, post mate drivers have to wait for our orders. They managed to forget the burger. This chain reaction caused me my work days. Had to cancel my appointments because I was 30 mins late getting back to work. Pushed back all my customers, lost my appetite, lost out on income. Thank god for refunds and reviews. I don't know how they managed to get my order wrong when they have multiple staff members reading the order list, or do they even communicate at all. If I was the manager or supervisor on duty, I would have let acknowledged the customers that we were busy very and behind with orders. I had to go in and out of the restaurant multiple times because I didn't feel safe with how crowded the lobby was. Social distancing and keeping your capacity under what that state has mandated. This Habit burger my just be the worst one I've been to. I suggest everyone take a drive to the other location by Woodward park. The staff there has it down, as your taking your order the front line staff will yell out to put down a patty, chicken, fryer going. Kills some time and our food is fresh and hot. This place is usually really good however this past experience is why im leaving a 1 star review. My girlfriend ordered on the app which is really nice. The app lets you know when your food will be ready. We arrived and the app said that the food was bagged and ready to go. I go inside (due to the fact that she was 7 months pregnant and craving their onion rings). I walked up and spoke with Martin who told me that my order wasnt ready. After waiting about 10 minutes my pregnant girlfriend comes in and was wondering why it was taking so long. A second person looked over to a bag of food that was there since I arrived and told us that our order. When we got home not only were we short food but the food was cold and soggy! We ordered 5 burgers and only had 3 burgers and no onion rings. So we drive back and returned the food. When we spoke to a blonde haired girl she gladly gave us food vouchers for our next visit but she said she knew we would be back because of our order. If there was a problem with our order shouldnt they have fixed it before we left? Since we paid on the app we also had to wait a week for refund which was so ridiculous! I recently visited my sister in, Clovis Ca. And I am not feeling the heat or loving the dust out here....but I did stop in at The Habit on Hendron Avenue. It was my first time, this particular location was busy a little small inside but there is patio tables outside. I had the #1 original, on purpose I figure if they could make a great burger than their #1 with cheese should always be consistent. It was great! I also had some of the tempura green beans from my sister's plate and onion rings from my son's. Amazingly good, I had fries while simple they were not overcooked or greasey. They were good as well. I also snagged a bite of my sister's burger it had pineapple and teriyaki sauce, yum. Today was my second trip there, again I had Michael the cashier who helped me with my order.
