Santa Barbara Char with Tempura Green Beans
    Kacey S.

Stopped in with my daughter for a day out treat. Neither of us had dined at a Habit Burger before. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We received a friendly greeting when we entered a beautiful and clean dining area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They were patient with us as we browsed the menu and settled on there $10 meal deal of half a smashburger, chicken tenders, a side and drink. We didn't wait long and took our food to go. The burgers were delicious with a lot of flavor, but quite messy. She had a side salad which was standard, and I had the tempura green beans. I loved them! They weren't super greasy and had great flavor. We also really enjoyed the chicken tenders as the chicken to bread ratio was perfect and they were also not very greasy. The meal ended up being a bit heavy for us, but they did have lighter options with salads. Thank you for an enjoyable experience!

Onion rings and burger terrible both over cooked to the point they were inedible. No one is watching what the kitchen is putting out!

The burger and the onion rings were so over cooked you couldn't eat them. No one's watching the kitchen.

    Sirloin Steak Burger

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. We have eaten at this location many times. This visit was very disappointing. I went to order (only a few people sitting at tables, and no line) and was told it would be a while before they could take our order unless we used the kiosk. So I used the kiosk. I ordered the sirloin steak sandwich, and a few sides with additional honey mustard and additional avocado ranch, which I paid extra for. Asked to add napkins on the kiosk as well. Order came, and sirloin sandwich had gray toned meat (no char) that was raw in the center. It was not at all warm -- cold to touch inside. They took it back and when it was returned to me, it was still gray on outside and still pink at center, although less pink than before. Again, barely warm. Seriously, it looked microwaved. Sweet potato fries were burnt, and we had to ask for the additional sauces, and even then never got the avocado ranch. Employees were rude and unfriendly. Very disappointed. Photo is AFTER the sandwich was supposedly recooked. I did not eat it, as too much raw juice soaked into the bread, which was dry and did not seem to have the garlic aioli either. Not happy to spend over $40 for food poisoning on a bun... Also, if your restaurant is going to offer "family boxes", you might consider staffing up. Employees were more focused on those boxes than the rest of the customers.

Sad Santa Barbara Cobb salad. Missing half of its ingredients. :(

Ordered two Santa Barbara Cobb salads and both were missing bacon, egg, onions, tomatoes and the romaine lettuce. Not worth the 25$ I paid for them. They were busy so maybe they forgot or ran out of everything.

Located in the Placer Heights Plaza, next to Starbucks. Same plaza as Holiday Market and CVS Pharmacy. We were seated immediately as they were not busy. The menu was a bit different than online. Our server came to take our order. He didn't introduce himself and seemed like he didn't want to be there. We decided on the fried green tomatoes, fried chicken sandwich and catfish po' boy. When the po' boy came out, we thought it was burnt! We didn't know the catfish will be blackened by default. We thought it will be fried since it is a po' boy. The options can be blackened or fried based on the menu online. We were not given those options by our server. They brought out the food but didnt provide utensils until minutes later. Fried green tomatoes: It was good. Fried perfectly. The dressing that was tossed with the side salad was super salty. Catfish po' boy: Fish was tender but super salty as well. Fried chicken sandwich: Pretty good sandwich. Chicken was huge. The fries was so soggy, not crispy at all. Also very greasy. We were a bit disappointed as we drove out of our way to try this place. Nice ambiance though. I felt I was a bit underdressed lol

I ordered the breakfast burrito and my partner had some pancakes. The burrito was decently sized tasted fresh and was nice and filling, no complaints there. The pancakes were really good and fluffy. Staff was friendly whipped up some spicy salsa for me since my breakfast burrito needed a little kick and was very attentive. There's a good amount of seating for the size of the place and they had a small bar area which I thought was a nice touch. Solid little spot of people to stop by and grab a bite to eat.

We had just taken our daughter to a water park so we were dressed rather casual. Albeit very casual and partially wet front the water we were greeted immediately and seated outside. I love Al fresco dining which they offer with misters on their outside patio. Our little one got to run around while we waited on our order. The craft root beer and burgers were top notch. I ordered the GOAT burger with arugula and bacon jam. It did not disappoint. My husband got the widow which was also quite delectable. Both burgers were cooked perfectly and the flavors complemented each other. Little notes of arugula, salty bacon, sweet jam, goat cheese, beef combined with a buttery fluffy bun made it a masterpiece. I upgraded to the duck fat and Parmesan fries. These are must try. Better than any fries I've had in NYC, SoCal Italy Germany or anywhere. Their fries were hand cut, the herbs and Parmesan were so fresh and drizzled with duck fat oil just sent them over the top. My husband upgraded to the cheese curds which were perfect as well. Their house ranch was also great and I'm a ranch snob. We were hungry and were served quickly with a smile. Our server or manager was on top of everything but not smothering. We will be back soon, this is a must try! Kid friendly but also a place you could come dressed to impress and enjoy as well. Thank you!

Sounds like a vacation to me!

We chose Woody's because our little one wanted mac 'n cheese and they have some of the best in town! I cannot rave enough about the restaurant and how well they handled the party. The booking process was easy and completed via e-mail. This aspect was handy as I didn't have to leave the house or make a phone call on a busy day. The gentleman I spoke to answered all of my questions during the booking process. On the day of the party, we showed up a few minutes early to put up some decorations. A waitress and waiter came and greeted us right away. The owner even came by, promptly, and introduced himself to me. The kindess and professionalism was outstanding. Our waitress (I wish I remembered her name! I feel terribly that I can't provide it.) did an outstanding job! We were a big group of people and she took all of our orders, answered questions, and helped us with anything we needed. I hope it can be determined who worked that day so she can be given her kudos as she was lovely! Lastly, the kitchen staff did a great job getting our food out in a timely manner. I was impressed by their speed and the food was delicious. As the restaurant was busy, we didn't have a chance to say thank you one final time before we left. So, thank you again, Woody's!
