Roach!!!! My first time here and after I was done eating there was a roach crawling on the table under my plate. The waiter did not seem bothered even after he took a picture of it with his cell phone, in fact he handed me my bill! I asked for a manager in which he stated he was not there. Had a great experience here today on a Sunday Afternoon. Friendly prompt service and big spacious booths are a plus. Chips Salsa and coleslaw salsa was on point. Both salsas had a mild kick which for my hubby and I are perfect. The margaritas had a good balance of lime and tequila mix. The blender must of been running well since their were no big ice chunks We had the fajitas for two we know we are weird and always request for only a bed of onion instead of having bell peppers too. Nice ambiance, great service, and the tastiest Mexican food I've had in a long time. Chips and salsa? Of course. But wait! What's this? A very fresh, tasty, and slightly hot fresh salad/garnish also shows up to the table. A nice treat. I asked for a crispy chimichanga and I got a crispy one. Nice guacamole, nice everything. This is my parent's favorite Mexican food place and I can understand why. The food and drinks are very good and the portion sizes are huge. My brother had a blueberry margarita that he loved and my draft Negra Modelo was super cold. For dinner I had the Tacos Pastor, which was flavorful, not fatty and had pineapple in it. It came on a huge plate with beans and rice. To top it off, it is a family run business whose owner has an eternal smile plastered on his face. This was a surprise for us. We came to try this place and then We didn't see many people. And sometimes you judge by that. Well we stay and give them a try even with almost empty place. We ordered our food right after the drinks. My husband ordered a green Chile burrito, and a chicken quesadilla. He said he was surprised with the tasty and flavorful food. The meat was tender and the sauce a little bit spicy. The quesadilla has a cute presentation. The chicken was seasoned perfect and he really liked it. My daughter is an expert in Menudo. She ordered that. She was pleasantly impressed. It was a little bit in the spicy side, but still manageable. She loved it. I ordered a veggie enchilada and it was supposed to come with green sauce but I asked to change it for the mole sauce. I think next time I will orders original sauce. The mole was on the sweet side. Which I didn't really like. But there are some Regions in Mexico that they make mole sweet. I didn't know. The seasoned veggies were very good. The corn tortilla chips were accompanied with some pickled cabbage and salsa on the side. I really loved the combination. Definitely a place to comeback. read more

I took my family last night to dinner for my grandmas birthday. The food was great but the service was absolutely awful. The waitress came by about three times the whole time we were there. Never asked how the food was, never asked if we wanted a refill. I had to take cutlery off of an empty table. My grandma said that was the worst service she ever had. Living in Fresno/Clovis we have a lot of choices for quality Mexican food and Hacienda Tequila stands out among the best. We tried the carne asada tacos and burritos, they were very good. We also really enjoyed the carnitas burrito, the pork was very flavorful. They let you choose which sauce you want on your burrito. The green sauce was stellar but not spicy. Their habanero hot sauce will liven up anything!! Spicy and delicious. I was amazed at how good their services was for a to go order for the four of us. This place was recommend by a friend since we were near by. The food was very unappetizing. Everything tasted like it came straight from a can with low quality meat. The beans tasted like rosarita beans, the taco shell was store bought with greasy hamburger meat that was mushy in drenched in a sloppy Joe mix store bought seasoning. We went to this place because we actually were in the parking lot trying to go to Rosa Linda's but they were closed. We saw a bunch of people inside so figured it was good. Service was good. But the food was so basic. We did not care for it. I got their Hacienda special which is large shrimp with smaller shrimp in a green sauce. And I did not like it. The larger shrimp had good flavor and the smaller ones were just gross to me they did not mix well together. The dude and I came to Hacienda Tequila on 7/23/20. We came in about 30 minutes before closing. When we entered there was a couple eating on the patio outside. The owners ago I think they are greeted the dude and I. They were very friendly and kind! We asked them if they were doing alcoholic drinks to go and YES they are as pictured. There is no in door seating as all the tables and chairs were pushed out the way and stacked safely out of the way of hungry patrons! The decor was still beautiful inside and you can tell this place use to be poppin before the pandemic! Anywho, we received menus and the menu had a a HUGE selection of items!!! The dude and I were overwhelmed as everything sounded so good!!! They have every Mexican dish you can dream up of! Since this was our first time here we opted for the dinner plates. I ended up getting the chicken enchilada and chicken taco plate which came with beans and rice. My plate was so delicious flavorful and yummy! The dude got the steak chimichanga and pork tamale plate which came with beans and rice. The pork tamale was so yummy! He LOVED his plate. The portions are pretty huge and I couldn't finish my plate so yummy had leftovers. I love how they put their to go plates in aluminum tins which our food was still piping hot! And that is so unique compared to other Mexican restaurants we have gone to over the past few months. The pomegranate margarita I got was delicious and flavorful! It was enough for two people. The dude loved it! So tasty. We also got complementary chips and salsa which was bomb!!! Overall, I'm glad the dude and I got dinner here recently as I have been eyeing this place for months!
