Jumbo Jalapeño Cucumber Margarita

The food, service and fun Friday night chips and salsa vibe was the best. They have a jumbo margarita that is amazing. But we careful 2 can be dangerous lol.

Good place for big party. Service, ambiance, food everything went great. We had birthday celebration and waiter put a bday hat on our bday girl and sang bday song. Food was decent. I'd recommend if you want something easy, casual and festive night.

Finally had a chance to check out this restaurant and I was pleased with the service and the food. We came on a Sunday morning before the rush and were seated right away. We ordered the chicken burrito and carne asada burrito. Chips and salsa came out complimentary and tasted so good. The burritos came out pretty fast, covered in sauce and cheese, with rice and beans. The chicken was shredded, which I like. Definitely will be back to try other menu items.

A hidden gem, with hacienda vibes. Located in the heart of Clovis, CA. The plate for 3 my parents usually share and it's the plate that has them going back. With unique well thought out flavors. It's more than enough for 2-3 people. The tilapia fajitas is what I usually order. It's one of my favorite dishes, aside the cabbage side they give you with tortilla chips. Most Mexican restaurants normally don't offer tilapia fajitas, so it's one of my go tos when ordering here. The service is always great. Everyone is usually very attentive. And the owner seems to be here a lot. He usually walks around and talks to the guest. Which is very nice and shows his value and connection with his customers.

Decided to try Hacienda Toquilla in Clovis. The tacos, enchiladas, beans and rice were pretty good and the service was excellent.

Cute place, love the fun colors and decor! Service was good! ..but tbh the food was just ehhh Wasn't a fan of their salsa (watery) so I ordered guac instead and that wasn't good either (watery) I ordered the chipotle enchiladas for my entree and they were just ehh, I've definitely had better Overall wasn't the worst experience, just not really good either

Chicken Mole dinner sized... guess I was supposed to know

Been here many times and always enjoy the food and service. Never ordered from the lunch menu. Today we decided to do this. My wife ordered the chili rellano and I tried the chicken mole. All was good though I prefer more spice to n the mole. When the bill came I was surprised at the charge of the mole. Owner stopped by (offering shots as usual) and asked him about the mole. He explained I had the larger dinner plate, but said he would see what he could do. Server came to pick up the card and he said he will see what he could do. When he dropped it off, nothing changed. I just let it go.

Talavera pottery and accents set the mood for the amazing meal we enjoyed today. We arrived to ample parking in the large Barnyard center and were promptly seated. Mexican food is typically our "go to" food due to my issues with gluten. Our server was prompt, he took our drink order and returned to take our food order. The chips were fresh, warm and not salty! Additional to the amazing house salsa was an unusual but tasty Cole slaw. The slaw had tiny bits of jalapeno, oregano and tomato. Truly a uniquely pleasing salad. We both enjoyed 2 chicken tacos with a chicken enchilada. The food was particularly flavorful without being overly salty or spicy. The presentation and plating of the food reflected the care and precision of an astute cook. This was our second meal in a week at Hacienda Tequila and I know we will return.

I think this is my favorite sit-down Mexican place in town. We have been here a few times, including their old location a few doors down the road. The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious. The service is always friendly. The prices are reasonable and comparable to other places around. We were so hungry that I forgot to get pictures before we ate... we enjoyed the chips and salsa along with the cabbage slaw (delicious!). I ordered the two-item combo plate with a cheese enchilada and a chile verde burrito which comes with beans and rice, and we shared the jumbo margarita.

Great decor and ambience at a local favorite Mexican spot. Try their fajitas, one of their best dishes available.

This is the table we got sat at, termite droppings, the restaurant had cobwebs all over the window seals.

Not a great experience there at all, the window we sat by had active termites and droppings in the window seal, i understand you can't control where termites happen at but come on at least clean it up or block that table off. My wife got menudo and it smelled really bad because they didn't properly clean the tripe before cooking it. Also we asked for a refill on our chip basket and when we got the bill we were charged for the chips, which has never happened, I asked why and she said they are only refilled if you have a big party, the waitress could have communicated to us there was a charge on the refill of chips but she didn't say anything, it was a very bad experience, I am not happy about spending any money here.

Combination plate. Delicious, and great dish.

The food is great, the ambience is surprisingly nice, and the service is solid. I had the Camarones Aguachile with the medium spicy sauce. Delicious! My father-in-law had Chili Verde wit Rice and Beans - he ate it all. He hasn't done that in years. My wife and sister-in-law had combination plates, and my brother-in-law got some sort of wet burrito. Everyone loved their food!

Do they have a banquet room for large parties?

The place has place for large party, but the food wasn't good. The drinks were fine, but I wouldn't recommend eating there. I personally wouldn't go back for the food.

Why do I perpetually get a busy signal when calling this place? Do they take phone orders? I have not been able to even try them because the phone is a busy signal at all times

I had no problem getting a ring, however no one picks up. Guess they don't do 'phone orders.' However, the food comes out quick if you can swing a visit. Worth it...

When is this restaurant going to re-open?

I have no idea, I tried calling a couple of weeks ago and it said mailbox was full. I drove by there and people were working inside. I wish they would update their web page or FB page. They will lose customers unless they let people know what is… Read more

Are they finally reopened? I've been wanting their ceviche!

They're OPEN NOW! Haven't been yet but drove by today and it was packed.

Came by at 2:30pm on Saturday but it was closed. Is this place still open for business?

They are moving to the shopping center adjacent to their current location, the Barnyard (Pho 2006, Old Town Waffles). They have a coming soon banner but it doesn't have a date.

What do you serve that would be considered vegan?

There are veggie burritos , veggie enchiladas that you can ask with out cheese , there are veggie tacos !

The shop was tidy and clean. The hubs ordered a burrito and I got the chili relleno with beans and rice. They offer complimentary chips and salsa. I'm a wuss about heat and ut was perfrct for me. Our friend is 3/4 lava monseter asked for a hotter salsa and they were happy to do so. This is where I mentioned that I live life with a service doggo. This place gets 4 paws up! No issues, the floor is clean and there is room for my girl under the tables. The food came out after a short wait. Oh, my! The burrito was huge! And looked so good! My plate came out and was also very delicious looking. We dug in and the table got real quiet. The kind of quiet that settles in when people are busy feeding their pie holes with good food. The hubs really enjoyed his burrito and while tge relleno was good, it wasnt my thing. But the beast and rice were lit! Some of the best I've ever had! We have been back and we can add taco salad and tacos to the list of yum. We will be back!!

To be fair, my wife and I didn't stray too far off the menu as we were only mildly hungry and wanted to give this place a shot. To start , they offer you a basket of tortilla chips dusted with seasoning and a pretty good red salsa. These chips and salsa were exactly what you can find at Toledo's up the street. I was in the mood for breakfast so I opted for the chorizo and eggs with beans and their homemade corn tortillas. Not great, but edible. The service was spotty as we had to order a side of corn tortillas from 3 different people with no success. I might come back to try more menu items , but from what I experienced on my first visit- it may be a while before I do.

I also sampled the carnitas on top of crispy taco shells as well. The meat was incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, and the tortillas came out hot, fresh, and perfectly cooked. Every bite reminded me why simple food done right is hard to beat. I was hoping to try the mojara frita, menudo, and barbacoa, only to find out the menudo and barbacoa are weekend only specialties. Needless to say, I was pretty disappointed, but it also gives me a great reason to come back. What really stood out, beyond the food, was the hospitality. David, who appears to have been running the place for over 20 years, was incredibly charismatic and provided the kind of customer service that seems harder and harder to find these days. You can tell he genuinely cares about both the restaurant and the people who walk through the door. One of my favorite parts of the visit was when I saw the owner come out and greet the regulars and customers. The interactions felt sincere and heartfelt, not forced. There was a real sense of community here, as if customers weren't just patrons but part of an extended family. That kind of atmosphere is special and says a lot about the people behind the business. Great food, warm hospitality, and a welcoming environment--I'll definitely be back, hopefully on a weekend next time.

What a cute couple shop hidden inside back of a market. Look for Peacock. Walk all the way to the…read moreend and make a left to the back. Miguel sells his auntenthic mexican food and Lisa sells her favorite sweet treats. By far on the market, they sell pretty bomb salsa! It's not like the generic salsa from store bought one, it's just like the unique homemade family recipes. And trust me, these are not as supper vinegary. I love Miguel's salsa! Miguel's message was to serve his community and bring his tradition to the table. He brought the flavors of Michoacan and Jalisco Mexico which were passed down from the Segura family. SERVICE :: I love Miguel's service! He personally serves you and greet you there. He offered me free chips and salsa while i wait. They were quiet busy but get things done quickly too. RATE : 5/5 SALSAS & CHIPS - COMPLIMENTARY:: His salsas and chips were the best thing I've ever recieved. He serves his famous red and green salsa with a little bit of ground beef on top. They go so well together. RATE : 5/5 RED SALSA :: It's hard to describe it here but it's roasty burnt salsa full of flavors. Not too vinegary. You just got to try it in person. RATE : 5/5 GREEN SALSA :: I personally love the green sauce more, in general. And still Miguel's green salsa still beats the red salsa. I can taste all of the greens and fruit in it. It may be advertised mild but the heat is there. It's about almost the same spice level as the red salsa. RATE : 5/5 ASADA TACO ($3.49) :: Besides his salsa, his tacos were amazing too. It's well seasoned, unique, and full of flavor. The asada is something that I've never tasted before. It's very herby, well seasoned to taste, juicy and tender! RATE : 5/5 TACOS DORADOS ($4.49) :: The tacos dorados were something different from what I've had before and were absolutely delicious. This taco reminds me of birria. The texture and flavor were also amazing. I asked for pork, it was supper moist, tender and juicy full of flavors. The cotija cheese brings a nice dry and light cheesy taste to it. And lastly, those pickled jalapeno just give a pop of juicy, sour, and spicy flavor. RATE : 5/5 PISTACHIO CREAMES ICED MATCHA (16oz - 6.49) :: Lisa use Tenzo brand. I've used and tried Tenzo before and it's hard to ratio the matcha. Over portion Tenzo match will be too bitter and too little too diluted. And yes, Lisa's Matcha was on the diluted side. The pistachio flavoring is light and taste artificial. The sweetness level is perfectly sweetend. Not too sweet. RATE : 2/5 NOTE : Spend anything above $50, get a $5 dollar off voucher for the next purchase. OVERALL :: Overall, it's a hidden gem that's definitely worth checking out! Don't forget his salsas, he do sell them on the side. I'll definitely go back for more and try his other menu!

The food was absolutely fantastic--the super burritos were massive and made with high-quality ingredients, and the guacamole was phenomenal. I noticed the small cups to put sauces were dirty, I had to pick through to find a clean container for my sauces. The lid of the storage for the condiments itself was broken and the area wasn't attended to enough. Sauces were very low & overall messy. While trying to pour my sauces in a very very small container I had to hold the broken lid and swat off flies. That's a lot of work for my green sauce. Our food came out quickly with our drinks.
