The benefit of going in person is you can pick up hygeine needs, sundries and such to save yourself a trip after the holidays. We are all pressed for time. All of us. No one is more important than anyone else so do what you need to do to remain patient and pleasant to the staff who are working hard to help everyone. They do not call back in a timely fashion. If you have emergent prescriptions, DO NOT SEND THEM HERE. So I advise you to do one of two things: 1.) Don't send your prescription to this pharmacy. 2.) Drive over there, wait in incredibly long lines, and experience the same frustration in person. I highly recommend the Walgreens Pharmacy in San Rafael instead. The pharmacists are available via phone and the line is always small or reasonable. Once again that's the Walgreens on 830 3rd St. in San Rafael.

Anyway, Charley, is my favorite pharmacist because he is a gentleman and he is straight with you about your medication if they have it or not, or if they have to order it and how long it might take! I like that because it gives me options about maybe trying another pharmacy if I have to wait a long time! A lot of pharmacists are not so straight with customers and it can screw up their medication plans for the month, especially if you need a ride to the pharmacy! Try Safeway pharmacy if you are having a rough time in lower Marin. They also have a Quest, blood draw lab right in the grocery by the pharmacy! It's great!

I've reached out to them and got no response, so I'm the past three weeks I've been telling my doctors to use this pharmacy for me. It's a little out of the way, but they have a drive thru for customers who use pay and go!! So far, the customer service has been superior to the former pharmacy I'd used. Today, I called about prescriptions I'd called in and Natalie answered, she was so kind after listening to my complaining about how my prescriptions and information were transferred to a company without my consent. Her response was so incredibly professional, this is something that is rare today. Kudos to Natalie!!! I'm looking forward to a continued relationship with Rite Aid Pharmacy.

And if this store remains, they should bring in good employees from their other Rite Aids and get rid of Natalie and bad employees at Northgate Pharmacy. Some, but not all of the pharmacy techs and clerks are incompetent and provide bad customer service.
