Imagine booking Laura for your engagement blow out hair... then receiving the worst service and…read morejob? The entire session was incredibly awkward and I felt so unwelcome the entire time. It was hard trying to maintain conversations with her, and I just felt judged the entire time. I couldn't help but notice her unwelcome facial expressions when I glanced in the mirror, as well as her condescending tone. Here's one of the main moments that stuck out to me: while drying my hair, she rudely said "ummm did you paint or something?" I said no... after the long silence I asked why she would ask. She said "well it's like. White. You don't have lice but it looks like dried paint. It's probably because your scalp is so dry." Okay... thanks? After I asked her to try to take whatever it was out of my hair she ignored me and roughly brushed my hair. I can list so many other rude moments that happened within the hour that I was there. I tried not to let this experience affect my mood for MY ENGAGEMENT. My hair was NOT the same as the reference photos, not even close. It was literally just curled and not blown out or styled the way I wanted. I tried to have her brush and fix my hair after she said it was done. I was so over it and didn't want to cause a scene. I paid and left. Which by the way- my hair was flat by the time my engagement happened. My appointment was around 1:30 and my engagement was at 5. Completely flat. Thanks for nothing. I had really high hopes because of the happy and positive reviews Laura had. Disappointed to say the least. Won't come back again. Don't book unless you want the session to be silent, underwhelming, and definitely treated wrongfully.

Let me tell you a story! December 2024 -- I had my maternity shoot scheduled in Anaheim Hills and…read morewas scrambling to book hair and makeup nearby. I booked Drybar for my blowout n' styling (big mistake ) and BlowOut Parlor for makeup. I got my hair done that morning and specifically mentioned that my hair does NOT hold curls well. I was hoping they'd at least last long enough to give beach wave vibes for my evening photoshoot... nope. Not even two hours later, all the curls had completely fallen out and my hair was straight. Thank God for BlowOut Parlor. I had my makeup appointment about an hour before the shoot, and while I was there I vented about my hair disaster. Even though the salon was PACKED -- every chair occupied and every stylist busy -- they were so understanding and somehow found the time to fix my hair. Completely saved the day and my maternity photos. This week, I went back in for a little self-care and once again they did not disappoint. Carolina really listened to my concerns and made me feeling like a brand new person walking out of there. I would highly recommend her, especially for special occasions!

I have received so many compliments on my hair when I'm out in the public it's pretty flattering. I cannot say enough good things about her as a person and more so of her hairdressing style. She pays close attention to your wants and you walk out with more than you expected. The best part is she makes your stay enjoyable with so many laughs. She has the best personality and a heart of gold. I have followed Sunhee from her various locations that SHE has chosen to leave on her own. She has NEVER over charged me or any of my friends that I have referred, and has always been up front about what it entails to get the results we are looking for. There is no hidden agenda with her and she will not make promises she can't keep. I would HIGHLY recommend Sunhee any day of the week. Thank you Sunhee for being the best hairdresser ever.

I moved out of state before my wedding but was dedicated to Jess and the process we started, so when I had a couple of opportunities to go back to California, I made SURE to have an appointment booked with her.
