I went back to work and spent the majority of my day wearing masks, causing disruption to my skin barrier. Additionally I started electrolysis which has revealed hyperpigmentation around my jaw line. When I returned to Sharnika she reexamines my skin and discussed options. She was upfront with her pricing and gave me some time to think over what was feasible for me. Logistical notes: I found the phone numbers to be confusing. The phone number on here is correct and the automated message is just the voicemail. You can leave a message or text this number. However, if you book online you will get a text confirmation from Square which is a separate service and you cannot call or text that number. Also, if you aren't familiar with the area be aware that you go inside the mall and follow the signs towards the TJ Maxx. There are Fiji water bottles in the lobby but no sign by them. I wasn't sure if they were included in the cost of the appointment or cost extra so I didn't take one. Maybe if I was bolder, I wouldve inquired. They sell a number of sugar scrubs and other products that you can use after your sugaring/waxing appointment at home. At 2:30pm, a technician came out with another customer who'd just finished and greeted me after closing out her appointment. I was definitely nervous but my technician put me at ease with light conversation and music (they let you choose what music you want when you schedule your appointment). I had initially made my appointment for sugaring but I was told that my hairs were too short and that wax would work better. I was a bit disappointed because I'd read about sugaring, but happy that my technician was able to provide good advice. It didn't hurt nearly as much as I expected it to. I was in and out in about 45 minutes with silky smooth legs.
