The lady at this salon was so rude with the haircut and her attitude toward me was so rude. I was asking her not to cut short, then she just pretended as she doesn't know English and ignoring what I say. It was for my 11 year old, and they say he is a man and no kid. What in world a 11 year old is called a man and tried to charge more. One says his hair is long is why they charge more, the other says he is man, we changed the prices from July 1st. Wow it's a clear lie., I don't mind paying more if they were respectful while talking. She spoiled the haircut and then tried to charge more. Maybe these are the people you have on Sunday, I would never visit here on Sundays, other wise other people are good with haircut and polite. read more

This was the first place I went when I moved here. I can say that my experience was not bad at all. Hanna was the one who did cut my hair. I kept coming back but somehow I could not get the right style I wanted but the cut was pretty descent and acceptable. Another recent service I had was root coloring. Of course it was given that the service was good. The only thing that make me think twice if I have to go back was the price of the coloring. It was different from the first amount when I called. I needed to find a place where I could get a haircut right away and when I called Haircut Quarters they told me they were ready for me. I was sat in the styling chair as soon as I got there. My hairstylist Hannah was quick with the haircut. I showed her an inspo picture and she matched it. I will say she handled me a little aggressively but other than that she listened to my requests. I did however ask her BEFORE she blow dryed my hair if this service was included with the haircut but she didn't answer and just started blow drying my hair. At the end she told me it was an extra charge. This is the only reason I'm giving this place a 4 star because of the lack of transparency. Other than that I'm in love with my haircut! read more

Adding on to this, just found that a portion of my bangs are entirely uneven, they weren't even cut straight.

Don't get Hanna (that's the name she gave .. can't say I trust it was.... she was at the first chair on the left)... I have curly hair .. she said she knew how to cut .. I asked for an inch off, leaving the existing style .. She proceeded to cut off the length in the back more than an inch .. then taper it .. when questioned "I'm cleaning it up for you. ."... In 39 years I have not had back cut this way .. If I could give negative points I would .. Worst cut I've had .. ever!!!! And I've had many.. The Salon itself is good... As my friends who recommended have said there all good .. we now have the outlier...make sure you are VERY clear should you get Hanna .. and don't let her use "I understand" follow your instinct ask for another... I gave the lady clear instructions mid fade and to fix my line up and a small trim on the top she clears all my long hair pushes my line higher than lebrons and ruins my perfectly good head of hair. I came in for a shorter trim with some layers, i never asked for shampoo yet i was somehow duped into getting a shampoo and getting charged extra for it when i specifically said no shampoo. The person cutting my hair mumbled something when i insisted i didnt want the shampoo and yet kept nudging me to the shampoo station. I told her i didn't need a shampoo so why did i get charged? Next i asked just for some layers and a trim, showed her an example picture and she ended up doing a bob cut where my back is short and front is long - nothing close to what i requested. On top of that, there's no layers! On top of that, she cut off more on my right side than my left when i specifically kept telling her there's still a lot of unevenness on my left side. She spent so much time cutting away on my right side than my left! Take a look at the unevenness in my picture. Overall, this lady didn't seem to listen to anything i specifically asked for. She should stick with cutting mens hair because she's definitely not experienced with cutting long hair. My regret was being too nice and paying the $45 for a bullshit haircut. I have followed Hannah here at Haircut Headquarters since Feb 2021. But Hannah has been cutting and coloring my hair for years when she was at the other shop. She takes pride in her work and always listens to what I like and dislike. She even knows how I like my hair parted/combed a certain way and I always leave the shop feeling great and beautiful, as if I'm heading to a party, LOL. You should try her it out if you haven't. But do make an appointment as she gets pretty booked up especially during the weekends. Hannah also used to do monthly facials on me, using top-of-the-line products. In addition, she would give me the best pedicure in town. She's very detailed and takes time to clean my feet thoroughly. I got spoiled by Hannah and refused to get my pedi done elsewhere. I'm excited to know that Haircut Headquarters will now have a pedi-spa chair since quite a few customers have asked for the service. Can't wait for them to also start offering facials. read more

I used to have a pixie cut and trying to grow my hair so I decided to get a bob cut. I remember I used to go to this place before the pandemic and the lady that used to cut my hair was pretty good with bobs. I called in to set an appointment, they were not busy at the time so I rushed in. The lady that used to cut my hair has retired :( . This other lady that attended to me.. oh my God..she is good!!! I showed pictures and Ly (pronounced Lee) breezes through it. I came in there with no style (in between grow out stage) to a cute neat bob cut style. I highly recommend Ly. I had high hopes because the person before me walked out with a great (Karen) cut! There was decent customer service, but probably the worst hair cut I've gotten. I showed and told her what I wanted (layers and 2 inch trim). She took off my glasses so I couldn't see much of what she was doing, but I swear I saw her cut off 4 inches off my bottom layer (and she did!) It wasn't until I got in my car and inspected my hair that I saw my left side was 1 inch longer than my right and the layers were way too far apart. it just looked really bad off-brand mullet. Also she only spent ~8 minutes on me. If you're going to cut hair, at least check and make time to see if both sides are even. Not worth $30+tip. Waste of money. read more

Both have curly hair and they happy with how hair turns out to be after cut. Communication is key here you have to clearly tell hairstylist what you want show photos talk and then ask will it suit your head shape and hair type. They know what they are doing. I've been going to Hanh for my shampoo, blow dry and hair cuts for about 4 years. I continued to work with her when she moved to Haircut Headquarters. I love coming for my shampoo every week. I have severe eczema and Hanh is always so mindful of my scalp when I have flare-ups. I bring my own shampoo, treatment and conditioner since I react to so many different things. She's always is careful of how much product she uses since it's my own. Hanh takes her time blowdrying my hair but she can keep the curl in my pin-straight hair better than anyone! Pretty sure she knows my hair better than me. Worth the wait every time and so relaxing. All the stylists who work here are always very kind when I come in. They can get really busy on the weekends so I recommend calling ahead to make an appointment. It's not hard to get an appointment just helpful to decrease the wait. I've brought both my parents, my fiancé, sister and two cousins here and will recommend her to more friends and family if they're local or looking for a new salon. read more

A nice man did my hair. Didn't speak a whole lot of English. I wanted an undercut. Very clean lines from the temple to a "V' point at the back. I explained it and he seemed to know what an undercut was. We talked for a moment about length numbers and I said "3" starting out and if I wanted it shorter we could do "2". While I said this he very messily put my hair up. Then picked up the clippers?! I told him to wait. I wanted to make sure he had the lines clean and straight. He said yes they were and touched the back of my head where the point was. He said it was a clean line even on both sides. This is where I made the mistake of trusting him... He cut it with the buzzer. Now I'm not a big butt about my hair, it will grow back. But I can see some other people getting VERY angry about the lines. I spent a good 5 mins trying to explain to him about how it was not straight. He didn't see it. I finally tried my best to fix the lines with my fingers and pulling the rest up in to a pony tail and told him to cut it. I wish I could attach the photos here to show the final product. He seemed to be more about speed than accuracy with the cut. Wanting to get the next walk in clients. I'm going to find a more expensive place to try and fix it. I've learned my lesson and won't skimp on paying more for better quality. read more
