The staff was friendly, they made the mistake of selling me on the lamb kabob w/rice and then 5 mins after I placed my order tells me he gave the last of the lamb away, to the person before me (like he didn't think about that while suggesting it and it wasn't even close to closing time) and then says to me you'll have chicken it's good before I could say anything. I was disappointed and felt like I didn't have a choice, but to go along. Then after a long wait of 25 min. He hands me my food and says this isn't fast food, good food takes time and I didn't even say a word about the time nor did I care really, I was just like alright that was a weird experience but I bet the food is going to be amazing! The food is ok at best, the white sauce they give you taste like bland mayo, rice was crunchy with no flavor, chopped lettuce... Chicken was the best part but only had some flavor with a lot of fatty chewy parts. Based on flavor alone though I would say not worth the $. I would take teriyaki dons overcooked chicken over this because at least the teriyaki sauce and rice is good. read more

You ever eat something that just instantly pisses you off? That was my experience. I got the lamb and chicken salad bowl and was beyond disappointed. There were no tomatoes, the amount of (black) olives and cucumbers were even less than a 6" subway sandwich, and I definitely didn't get both chicken and lamb, just some dry and red coated option. The tzatziki sauce tasted like a white cream sauce that belongs on a pizza - there was no hint of lemon, pieces of dill, or any sort of fresh taste I expected. Plus the amount of sauce on the salad defeated the purpose of ordering a salad. The pita was good but the hummus would've been better replaced by any grocery store option. Maybe I'm biased and spoiled by living in LA, and I'm glad there's a cheap option for lots of food for students nearby, but as an adult with standards on delicious halal food, this was not it. read more

Ordered from DoorDash. We got two chicken gyros and an order of falafel. The falafel was inedible. They cut it up into little pieces and it was soooo dry. Even though I asked for the whole order to be mild, they put a spicy sauce on it in addition to the tzatziki. I love falafel and it kinda broke my heart to just throw it all in the trash, but I did. The chicken gyros were packed with chicken and again it had a spicy sauce on it despite me asking for mild. In fact, it had so much chicken I had to eat it with a knife and fork. Couldn't eat it all because of the spice as I have acid reflux and spice is not a good thing for it. I called and talked to a person on the phone. Told him we had to throw the falafel away because it was so dry and had a spicy sauce on it. He defended it and said they have to fry it so dark to make it crispy. But that fact that they cut it into itty bitty pieces made it very dry. Plus the spicy sauce ruined it for me. It didn't even show a sauce besides the tzatziki in the picture on DoorDash. He insisted that was their mild sauce. If that is the case, it would be nice if they offered a "no spice" option. Very disappointed both with the food and the response of the man I talked to. Summary: Place is gross, sanitation issues abound, chicken tasted so bad. Okay, went in around 11:30-11:40. One guy was behind the register. He didn't seem to understand how to place an order, so I went ahead and used the automatic option. Even provided a tip! I see the employee, who was touching the screen, his face, other things around the store, use the same gloves to make my food. He is touching the salad and other items with the same gloves. At least switch them out bro, you know I see you. The store also was a mess. They had some juice in a tub of some kind(?), where was I?! Come on man, just switch out the gloves AT LEAST. Give the illusion you care. I get the food, hesitant to try it due to issues stated above, but I brave it. God it tasted bad. The chicken was odd tasting, the sauce was sour, it was just bad. My boyfriend and I were really disappointed in our food, it was severely lacking flavor and had waaaaay too much of that weird white sauce that made the lettuce all wilted and gross. I can't rate the food since I never received it. My man ordered his food (burger and loaded fries) then ordered mine (lamb and chicken platter with a soda and lemonade). He got his order while I continued to wait for mine. It was about 35 minutes in when I noticed everyone after me received their order. My man went to go ask what happened to my platter and they never made it. They thought the platter they made was for my friend sitting with us who (separately) ordered before us. My order was overlooked because they thought they did it already. They offered a refund for the platter or I can wait again, It was going to take over 10 minutes to make my order since they had to make more rice and chicken. Ended up taking a refund for the platter and went through a drive through on the way home. We ordered from the kiosk and it sends a text message when the order is complete. We never received a completed order for my food so I'm still confused how they believed they gave me my platter. Hopefully a better experience next time if I decide to go back. Really fantastic hidden gem in Fresno. Had the opportunity to meet the owner and manager and a handful of employees and they're all fantastic people. The food is fresh, delicious, and filling. There's some really cool artwork on the wall right when you walk in. Menu offers plenty of options whether you like spicy, not spicy, vegetarian, vegan, and all that fun stuff. We were so excited to order from Halal Bros. It sounded good and had reasonable prices. (Lately, I have noticed that some of our favorite restaurants have increased their prices a lot!). Halal means permissible and lawful. Animals butchered in accordance with the Qua'ran. No pork, lard or alcohol. My husband ordered the Chicken Rice Plate ($13.99). He liked it but said it was way too spicy. When you order you are asked if you want mild or spicy food. We ordered mild. Perhaps there could be a no spicy category. I ordered the Falafel Rice Plate ($13.99). It was mild but I was able to eat it. Each meal came with rice and a lettuce salad. The white sauce actually helped to mediate the spiciness. My only suggestion is that the falafels should be cooked less. They were extremely hard and difficult to eat. The pita bread was excellent. It was warm and cut into pieces. So good!
